I didn't say he was being *tsundere*. My point was Naruto hasn't given up on Sasuke being 'good' again. And let

s be honest here-it was pretty much a foreshadowing of 685. I know a lot of us say that Sasuke isn't changing, but he caught Sakura. It wasn't a romantic gesture, but it was a gesture that 40-50 chapters ago Sasuke wouldn't have bothered doing. It's not surprising, though. Two murder attempts on the woman he loved couldn't turn Naruto away from Sasuke. I'd say he's probably the biggest fangirl in the entire series,lol

Of course Naruto hasn't given up on Sasuke being good again, but that's not what that scene was. What Sasuke did in 685 doesn't change that he thought both Kakashi and Sakura were useless and not worth saving just a few chapters prior. Sakura and Obito saving him made him change his mind about Sakura being useless, but that doesn't mean he's becoming 'good' again. Naruto is the only one who can do that. And, Sakura being all pouty over Sasuke not caring about her was foreshadowing of 685, not what Naruto said.

I would disagree, only since Sasuke last chapter had the action lines around his face+he didn't complain to Naruto about helping Sakura. I'm pretty sure Sasuke won't be saying "omg, I'd let them die, useless!' again. This is about team mates, not romantic feelings. It has nothing to do with SS.

I would disagree, only since Sasuke last chapter had the action lines around his face+he didn't complain to Naruto about helping Sakura. I'm pretty sure Sasuke won't be saying "omg, I'd let them die, useless!' again. This is about team mates, not romantic feelings. It has nothing to do with SS.

I didn't say it, I said Naruto said he had done it in the past, at the bridge. "You don't mean that', as in, you've done it before, not "Oh, I know you're secretly imagining Sakura scantily clad with your Uchiha crest around her waist!". You're the one saying Sasuke cares. It's like you're trying to do some bait and switch, where everything you said, I apparently said. You. You are the one who said Sasuke cared, because it was foreshadowed by Sakura pouting about Sasuke not caring. I said it was Naruto's teamwork comment that foreshadowed him doing something for a team member. You're the only one here making a good argument for SS. It's gotten to be ridiculous at this point.

Exactly  I don't understand  how is Sasuke catching Sakura from falling bc he now finds her "useful" unlike before when he would have let her die or trying to save her bc "Naruto" said it to him is him " caring " (Naruto's reaction is caring Sasuke's is pretty much indifference he didn't even bothered to check on her if he did "care" in the first place ) , doing it bc they are of some use to you now isn't that  at all  that's how you treat a tool not someone you obviously care about .

 

Also @Lilac maybe you didn't meant it to come in that way but the way you wrote it in your first post even I thought the same as @Hiraishin . And please action lines on his face and not complaining to Naruto means that he might cares ? Lol  that's calling focusing on the target with his "eye power" and the fact that Naruto needed to tell him "again" to save her and him not doing it on his own just shows how much he really "cares" not to mention that there was no reaction signs of him worrying like Naruto had that pretty much tells you that he's only doing it bc now he finds them useful to his/their cause once this is over it will be a different story that much I'm sure .

I said he's changing, and yes, this is a Shonen manga where the majority of the plot has been 'must save Sasuke'. If you think Sasuke is not heading towards redemption, then there's nothing really more to say? Except for, well, don't be too disappointed? Naruto runs on cliche's, and the evil rival turning good cliche' is the most common in anime/manga. Naruto still trusts Sasuke, he still sees him as a friend. I'm arguing over Naruto's teamwork comment, and you jump to 'Omg, Sasuke doesn't care about Sakura!" when it was not I who said that Sakura's pouting had anything to do with him catching her. You know? You're putting the emphasis on Sasuke and Sakura, and I'm talking about Naruto and Sasuke, so I'm pretty sure the former is SS related, not the latter.

 

And since this was missed, I will restate-This is what NARUTO said. NARUTO is still fangirling Sasuke, he's still thinking he's great. Naruto telling Sasuke that he's done it before=/=Me saying that Sasuke cares. Naruto's point of view, of Sasuke *knowing* what he's talking about is shown to be misguided due to his past actions to the audience. This is what Naruto feels/thinks about Sasuke, not what is reality. The guy said the person who tried to murder the love of his life twice was his great friend. Come on, is it really this hard to understand what I'm trying to say?. That's the whole point. This is just honestly mind boggling.

 

And I'm done. If you see a SS argument in what I'm saying, then you're being over-reactive and there's no way I can possibly explain it any better.

Naruto is a different person and reminds me of myself actually that's why I started to love this manga. He doesn't give up and that includes his love(Sakura-Chan) and his "Brother"(Sasuke)... I can actually understand though Naruto sees him as a brother so why would he give up on him if he sees him as a brother... I understand what he talking about and I don't blame him I wouldn't call it an obsession I believe even though he claims that whether or not the promise stands he has if in his heart to do it for the girl he loves and he wants to bring his "brother"back... I hate Sasuke's guts but to Naruto he kin, and I know y'all wouldn't let your brother get himself killed or go down a path like that, I sure as hell wouldn't... So I understand Naruto's reasons for bringing Sasule back...

Spare me this kitten of shipping goggles and read what you wrote first  you implied it by saying this  When Sasuke said he would have just let Sakura and Kakashi die, Naruto basically says, "Oh youuuu, I know you don't mean it! and this why @Hiraishin responded in the first place bc it give the wrong vibe I see nothing wrong with that  .

"   . How the kitten is action lines   which means him focusing using his power and him not complaining  might means he cares ? Lol  The fact that he had no meaningful reaction of showing any sign of worry unlike Naruto and the fact he did it bc Naruto asked him  shows you how much he might "care"  that's not caring that's called indifference and doing it bc he finds the useful not to their cause  sign. 

 

And For crying out loud stop using NaruSasu scene as foreshadowing  for him doing something for a teammate that's for them strictly it ain't foreshadowing  anything . You don't even get the meaning of that scan you putted in ,  Naruto in here is only telling him that he cares about Kaka/Saku the same way he cared for him like that time at the bridge  it has no connection/foreshadowing with Sasuke doing something for his teammates or that he cares about them in that way  dear lord   .
