And how is this equivalent to Naruto thinking of Sasuke all the time and clinging on to the belief that Sasuke can do no wrong? Cause that was how Naruto was in early Shippuden. Naruto has reduced his Sasuke obsession compared to before.

He...doesn't though. When Sasuke said he would have just let Sakura and Kakashi die, Naruto basically says, "Oh youuuu, I know you don't mean it! Remember the bridge? Haha!"  He also honestly thought Sasuke would save Sakura, and was really happy when he saw that susanoo. Think about that, he put Sakura's life in Sasuke's hands. He hasn't stopped fangirling him yet.

While true, I don't want to see fodder vs a god-like Uchiha with Rinnega or Naruto vs Sasuke ultimately ending in tnj. Both are terrible scenarios imo.

That wasn't what that scene meant... He was just trying to get Sasuke to understand his feelings (always saving and protecting his friends, no matter what) by referencing the scene at the bridge. Sasuke wasn't being "tsundere" or anything like that.

I think this website shows the standard UK time. Update the location option in your profile to get the same time as your standard time.

I didn't say he was being *tsundere*. My point was Naruto hasn't given up on Sasuke being 'good' again. And let

s be honest here-it was pretty much a foreshadowing of 685. I know a lot of us say that Sasuke isn't changing, but he caught Sakura. It wasn't a romantic gesture, but it was a gesture that 40-50 chapters ago Sasuke wouldn't have bothered doing. It's not surprising, though. Two murder attempts on the woman he loved couldn't turn Naruto away from Sasuke. I'd say he's probably the biggest fangirl in the entire series,lol

Picture is inaccurate. It should be Naruto who is getting more of the hug than Sakura is. Naruto's obsession over Sasuke can give fangirl Sakura a run for her money.

 

100%. Nothing can compare to Naruto's obsession with Sasuke, not even Hinata's obsession with Naruto.

Hinata's obsession with Naruto is actually normal.

Both Naruto and Sakura are way past that point now. This would make sense in early Shippuden but tbh now neither Naruto nor Sakura show that much of an interest in Sasuke. They were not overly pleased when he joined their side and they don't even trust him all that much.

Sakura didn't and still doesn't really trust Sasuke. While Naruto literary glued his lips to Sasuke's ass the second he arrived.
