But seriously, I can't see Naruto doing an Aang.
Naruto has kept his strong feelings for Sakura bottled up because he still thinks Sakura loves Sasuke. I don't know what Sakura has to do for him to realize that she might have romantic feelings for him. Once he is sure of this, all his pent-up emotions and feelings will be released at once, maybe resulting in something more intimate than a kiss

Hey, many movies don't end love with a kiss, even if the timing is bad.
I have a doubt whether Kishi will give such an intimate act in his story.
Naruto has always pestered Sakura with date requests. It might end with Sakura being the one casually asking Naruto to take her on a date. That would be nice to see.

There's not a lot of scenes in this series that's over the top romantic. I was really surprised to see actual kissing in this series, although it was cpr... but you get the point. I felt like Kishi was being really sneaky with that scene. I mean, the kiss was right in my face in the very next page. I don't expect a kiss on the lips to happen unless it's accidental or necessary like cpr.

I don't think Sakura would go down that easily.
If she's facing Sasuke as he is now I think she would. She's fodder compared to Naruto and Sasuke.

Picture is inaccurate. It should be Naruto who is getting more of the hug than Sakura is. Naruto's obsession over Sasuke can give fangirl Sakura a run for her money.

CPR is a sneaky move in media.There's not a lot of scenes in this series that's over the top romantic. Both Naruto and Sakura are way past that point now. This would make sense in early Shippuden but tbh now neither Naruto nor Sakura show that much of an interest in Sasuke. They were not overly pleased when he joined their side and they don't even trust him all that much.
