Who said that? So, can I slightly laugh at those people, who said that Erza will get sidelined? So we will see another ripped of clotheth and more beat down "Because Erza".

Who said that?
I don't remember - who exactly, but that was after Erza became new guild master. People hoped for that, but Mashima has lost his way, he's rarely pulling Rave quality now.
Anyone has John Cena theme song ready?

This. Only difference is that I started losing interest after Nirvana, and her fight in Tenrou sorta sealed the deal. She use to be up there with Gajeel, Natsu, and Gray for me back in the old days ,but ever sicne the grand magic games I've been loosing interest in her as a character. So this next upcoming chapter really gets me worried when it comes to Erza I mean if she gets her ass kicked then that's defintely going to amount to something, but I would rather have Laxus be the one to take him down given the situation that happened previously when they were trying to save Macorov.

"It's about time she gets to shine"? What? Seriously? Since when doesnt she get to shine? All of her fights, every last one, are just major asspulls. There isn't a single one of her fights that are good.
Erza is one of my favorites, but she used to be a lot higher on my list. Her fights and her relationship with Jellal brought her down for me.
Every single fight in this manga is an arsepull, Grey, Natsu, Mira every single one get arsepull power-ups. It all goes the same, We are Fairy Tail, we are family so we get super powered up, to defeat our foes. With Natsu's growth being one of the biggest arsepull I have ever seen, in any manga.
You can't blame Erza on the Jellal crap, that's typical Manga for you. Every single Shounen manga has these situations, He's evil but he's not really and now he's good. Blame the freaking mangaka and the cookie cutter industry that follows the exact same rules for these situations, no matter the medium, games, LN,s Animes, Manga, has to have the guy who is doing kitten things but has a personal link to someone on the Maincast has to be redeemed. You could understand Jellals and Erza's situation to a level, he was possesed by evil when captured trying to save Erza. His excuse had been his actions were not his own, he had been exploited at a point when he was his weakest, being tortured and kept prisoner.
Atleast he doesn't expect a pass, he has done kitten things and is out to try to make a difference, sure is better than a certain someone who went on a journey for redemption which involved him walking allot and abandoning his family. I don't like the pairing much either, but it was obvious once he came back from death...and atleast I can accept he's not just expecting to be forgiven, and she didn't throw herself at him, soon as he said he was cured.

I'll agree on Jellal's aspect. It could have been much worse. I see it pass.

That's not true at all, actually. Erza is the only one that it happens to consistently. With Natsu, everything he's gotten, with the exception of Laxus' lightning was what we had come to expect because it was explained/mentioned before hand, even including the END stuff. With Erza its "mmk getting my ass whopped lemme pull a sword outta nowhere even though I have no senses". Every one of her fights is garbage.Every single fight in this manga is an arsepull, Grey, Natsu, Mira every single one get arsepull power-ups. It all goes the same, We are Fairy Tail, we are family so we get super powered up, to defeat our foes. With Natsu's growth being one of the biggest arsepull I have ever seen, in any manga.

I don't really care about typical manga, it doesn't mean that I have to like it, or how it affects her. Just because Jellal is a bit better than Sasuke doesn't make him a good character. On one hand, he doesn't expect a pass, but on the other, he walks around in a way that makes it seem like he's trying to get everyone to feel sorry for him, and it's really annoying, and it's even more annoying that Erza specifically just accepts it.

I swear, "Because she's Erza" has to be a parody friendly to use. All you need is a straight man just go irate on it.

Sorry, but no. Did you read previous work of Masihma? Rave Master, I maybe mention it too much in FT thread, but if at least 1/5 of what Mashima did there, he was doing in here - FT would be much better. Because there - good characters sometimes lost, died and sacrifieced their motives for greated good.
Now FT is far more stretched, and some arcs didn't do a single thing to a main plot, nor did they really expanded universe.

In almost any manga there is such character, and I don't like most of them:
"Because she's Erza"
"Because Kenpachi"
"Because Uchiha"
That kind of character has konami code typed in, from Ch. 1.

Straight Man: Hey, how can she pull that new armor?
Happy: Because she has tons of Arsenal back home.
*Later*
SM: Hey...I don't remember that armor back home...or in the book...
Happy: Because it's a secret weapon that no book record has.
SM: *Eyebrow twitches* I-I see...
*Later*
SM: ...............
Happy: Because she's Erza!
SM: YOU DONT EVEN TRY ANYMORE!!!!
It's comical that I couldn't believe I read that. Even today, I still couldn't understand.

guys trust me, one of the reasons that these pulls out of the rear happen is due to running a series for years and years with out actually pausing and on a weekly basis too. If things weren't this hectic then when wouldn't be getting it this bad. I mean look at the quality of of the stories in monthly manga, or bi-monthly. Those are the proof that if given actual time to think we wouldn't be getting a**pulls too much.

Well to be honest, it's much less effective when the series doesn't contain Shounen attack name calling. Because of need to name attacks, they kind of have to force themselves to come up with a new power up, rather than "He was skillful, so he got him with a smooth trick." Still, they can go for that but series like this don't want to.guys trust me, one of the reasons that these pulls out of the rear happen is due to running a series for years and years with out actually pausing and on a weekly basis too.
