There is no doubt with this comment that his editors made him change his original vision for the ending. Either way I am disappointed in him for giving in and won't accept any excuses that he comes up with.

 

Is because he didn't like the ending? or just because the manga is ending and he's sad about it?

kishi, writing karin off isn't going to make your readers not question where the hell she is, and that goes for taka, orochimaru and yamato. 

 

you know what, i kinda feel insulted right now. does he really think the readers are just going to magically forget certain characters just because they aren't present? lol, he must think we're idiots. well, he certainly ended the series as if he's writing it for idiots, that's for sure.

This was a serious jump the shark moment for this manga, and im honestly having a hard time believing this was really his end game all along.

 

None of the end pairing outside of Shikatema and maybe SaiIno make any sense whatsoever.

This is the support to NS that was given that got me the most aggravated, why say this and nothing comes from it i wonder if kishi ever re-read his manga before this asspull clearly he didnt.

You know the worst part , I can see that scene where Sakura has her hands on Hinatas shoulders in the movie, she's playing matchmaker because ::flashback:: Minato told her to take care of Naruto

I truly wished Kishi went with the best pairing: Naruto and Sakura, but as I've said in the past, I'm not as upset as everyone about NH. I am really frickin' irked by SasuSaku and the fact that Sakura, who had grown strong, decided to just do nothing and become a housewife or is it shopkeep and you know, marry an abusive man who always wants to be left alone. WTF!

 

But my real issue is with everyone's ending almost being the exact same; there definitely is no satisfying closure for any of my characters... While marriage and children can be great for some, it's not everyone's goal in life. The last chapter looked like ... kind of like the end ing to Harry Potter. "And everyone got married, had kids, were fulfilled and never did anything ever again..." The ending for everyone is so empty because he set up all these other goals for our main heroes and then did nothing with them. NOTHING! They all get blanket generic endings. Naruto became Hokage but we didn't get to be there with him when he did. When the excitement of a life-goal came true. It's just... and now he's all grown up and serious and boring. All of them are portrayed this way. I know it's peaceful times for people who trained to be warriors their whole lives, but I mean Sai could've been shown as a world-class painter! Ino could have had an amazing flower shop.  

 

Just really empty...

 

Other pairing wins and loses:

I was glad to see ShikaTem// ChouKarui (WTH, right? But still, go chubbies! Karui is a cutie too!)

 

I was sad to see Rock Lee didn't get with Tenten.

 

 

but tenten sports the same bangs as lee and his son has normal eyes..not round like lee's

And it really should've been SK and NS..

There wasn't even any resolution with Taka...taka was important to Sasuke too..

Ino should've at least become head of her clan, or an interrogator like her father was, and she should've had a daughter to run the flower store, like she used to

Choji and Karui is literally so out the blue...like wtf? there's no way that that is logical..

Kiba with a girl that prefers cats? cute but still a bit OOC..

Shino's a damn droid..

Tenten is apparently a spinster (though I still think she might have married lee) that sells weapons??

Temari looks grumpy and 40..

Shikamaru too..

 

Only person in character is gaara and other kages, along with Lee and Sai...and they got hotter *o* Sasuke looks unattractive now and Naruto looks...older and mature?

 

Kiba also seems like a womanizer to me for some reason and did you guys see Kankuro??

 

and why does some characters look like they never wore their designs for the last?? it almost looks like shippuden all over..

 

 

I don't get it? How are people happy with this ending?? they're saying we're the only ones unhappy about it and being salty over it but I see non shippers are even angry, however apparently, non shippers on NB and NF like the ending too?? apparently we aren't logical?? tf?

Btw one more thing that makes this ending stupid, naruto never told sakura his feelings O man thats just bad, sakura now only knows from sai how lame, and how in Gods name will this movie make NH more sense for being canon its what 2 hours

Maybe Kishi was trying to make NaruHina and SasuSaku look lame in the eyes of the readers because he was angry that he was forced to not do NaruSaku.

I just can't think otherwise I'm sorry.

It sounds like he's trying to distance himself from his own work. Now why would that be? He should be proud. It is his brainchild, his staple for the past 15 years. You reap what you sow, Kishi. 

 

Side-note: I wish he would come out and admit to being coerced into revising the ending. Then he makes amends by redrawing the conclusion so that it flows correctly and is consistent with the duration of the manga.

Seriously...I got to continue reading this manga now...here I thought Nami betrayed the crew.

Nami didn't want to, but there were things she had to deal with. I won't spoil it because you haven't read it. But she becomes one of the most important people in the crew. The only other person that is a close to Luffy as she is would be Zoro. That isn't to say that Luffy isn't close with any one else, they're all super close, it's just Nami and Zoro have known him the longest.

Agreed. I would like him to come out and say something to that effect also. Hopefully there will be a more in depth interview or something in the future where we can learn the truth behind this turn of events.
