    i just had 2 post this xpbecause NaruHina fans are always Comparing 2 Minato lol

Lol this what a NH fan said on Youtube to someone :Naruto's mother said so herself, "don't just go by the first girl you see(sakura), pick someone more like me", and its obvious hinata isn't considered much of a side character anymore, a lot of polls lean towards her more than they do to the supposed heroine of the anime.
So anyways:

 Hinata has long hair, is carrying, she cares for naruto deeply, understands his pain better than anyone, was shy and isolated and eventually came out of her shell thanks to naruto, same thing happened with kushina and minato, and there's much more that they share in common, but here's the deal......I've noticed a trend in manga authors in popular animes, they always, and i mean always use symbolism in every little thing, you think its pointless mentioning it but it ain't, you gotta be on the look out for these, cause they foreshadow or explain things, its like telling you what's going on in the mind of the author, where he draws inspiration, how he relates characters to one another, does parings, etc etc..........ex:
-i said hinata has long hair like kushina,but its dark blue, kushina was red-haired and sakura has pink which is much closer, but that only leaves us in a middle ground
-kushina wasn't flat chested like sakrua but not as big as hinata either, again a middle ground is found.
-kushina was shy and taken aback from everyone else and hated herself, but it changed thanks to minato, just like hinata and naruto, BUT at the same time when she got really angry she would act exactly like sakura does, Minato even picked up on that when he meets his son in the war as an Edo-tensei, and her hair would go all wild flying around with chakra and so did Hinata's during the fight with Pain. again we find a middle ground,

there's a few others, but the point is, Kishi does this on purpose, its so the ones who pick up on it wonder whats going to happen in the end, so they don't know which side to choose from, but at the same time he definitely tells you that there's a conflict, pointing at it, and insinuating that a point will come when there's a choice that will be made.

I for one believe naruto and hinata should go together, it makes much more sense personalities wise, and the shared history since they were kids, and to be honest they have shared so many cute moments together in every mission they had from kids to more grown up like now, that it's like Kishi is hinting at it but dragging it out to tease us like he does with everything else......meanwhile all sakura ever does is punch naruto in anger and reject him, only once did she feel embarrassed when naruto praised her for her medical knowledge but ended up punching him when he said "brute force specialist"

From just comparing events that you read in manga and see in the anime, we can't draw a sure conclusion answer, to what will happen, cause both sides have strong points, But when you simply use logic, it gets easier, instead of comparing characters to each other, just focus on how they think, affect by events yes, but its a little different, a different way of tackling it.

basically using logic, i just can't see why sakura would ever choose naruto, she's changed a bit, she ain't clueless anymore, but it is shown that she can't help liking sasuke no matter what, and that's her thing, even more now that he's turning good.....naruto in the other hand i bet he's confused and doesn't know what to do, recently he's kinda getting it and it shows he recognizes hinata more, but i bet that whole line "I love you" that came from her mouth during the pain Arc is something that he has been waiting for to hear for his entire life, it was the first freaking time EVER that he actually heard something like that, and he's probably clueless as to how to react despite longing for those words, because they came from hinata.... i bet he's still pondering if he really likes sakura all that much or just thinks shes cute, as he matures he'll understand what love is and why you don't use that word so lightly. Sasuke was to bent on revenge and decided to neglect everything else, but hundreds of episodes back he showed that he understood and appreciated sakrua's feelings for him, but that's all, there's a lot of catching up to do and now he's hell bent of fixing the world up, so idk if he's thinking much about personal hapiness now.

And Hinata, she has been locked on to Naruto from day one, she's self explanatory lol, i don't need to explain that one, but here goes. She's was definitely curious about him at a very young age, then felt indebted to him when he stood up for her, then came admiration for him when he showed her the right way to do things(the hard determined way is the right way), then it morphed into affection and gratitude for changing her after following his example(at this point she was still a young kid and has a big crush on him, but it ain't love yet, and mixed with her shyness it causes instant fainting XD), and finally it became pure, honest love for him, specially so the day she could let those words ( I love you) out and be ready to die for him. 

It's pretty much obvious how its gonna turn out, honestly going further by the manga or anime only confuses you and teases you, this was already set up thanks to events in the first Naruto, and Shippuden will show the results of everything that was set into motion in the first series.

They obviously don't know what filler is....

 

Naruto and Hinata never went on missions together, they never interacted as kids, Naruto never stood up to bullies on her behalf (though that is something I could see him doing). Unless there's something the manga isn't telling us yet. All the episodes that show these interactions are filler, in other words made by the animation studio and not at all canon to the manga.

I was somewhat lead on by the filter episodes, too. But it didn't take long for me to learn that they weren't canon. Filler episodes are when the animation studio needs to give the manga more time to get farther ahead in the story, in order to avoid overtaking the manga.

If it was after Sasuke's betrayal and after Naruto learns he's going to be Jiraiya's apprentice, and after Sakura asks Tsunade to train her, from there to the first half of the last episode of the first series, it's just a bunch of filler episodes. And the studio mixes filler into canon material sometimes, too. Confusing, I know. I primarily watch the anime, so sometimes I get filler and canon mixed up. (Though most filler can be spotted easily since it's essentially plotless and contributes nothing to the story. Also the quality of the writing in filler is often ridiculously bad. I do enjoy some filler episodes, though, and some are part of my head canon. IMO, the fillers that are less about pointless plots and more about exploring the background of a character, like the recent Kakashi ANBU arc, are good and something I actually enjoy a lot.)

Don't get them calling Kushina shy, either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see that in her at all. I'm shy, so I know what that is. Kushina didn't interact with people because of the way she was treated, not out of lack of confidence and not wanting to step on toes. Being treated badly can make you shy, but I wouldn't say this was the case with Kushina. She responded to dissent in a completely different way from Hinata.

On the filler thing, if it's confusing, I'd recommend Googling "list of filler episodes in Naruto".
