If Naruto were to be caught copying, only Team 7 would have been disqualified. Hinata and her team would not be affected. Those were the rules of the Chuunin exams.

Eeeh, I dunno; Sasuke as a character has been corrupted and has done some pretty terrible things. He has threatened Sakura and the village on multiple occassions, not to mention he's a traitor and probably a murderer. I'm sorry, but in the end, I think my ending closes it out a bit better. Sasuke is a villain, not an anti-hero. Itachi is an anti-hero, trying to do things right for his clan. Sasuke's just a power-hungry jack-ass who needs to be brought to justice for what he has done.

NARUTO AND SASUKE FINALE

-[I'll just abridge this part, you guys can ask me to expand on it later on] After being trapped in a never-ending genjutsu that has Naruto live his entire life, at least 90 years each time, filled with regret over not getting Sakura or becoming Hokage or being a bad father, over and over again, Naruto breaks back into reality.

-He sees that they have won, and the battle is over.

-He looks at Sasuke, whom looks back at him; Sasuke begins to try and play him, seeing it as a way back into Konoha to do whatever he wants.

-Naruto says "Sure, you're my best friend to the end, Sasuke". He comes over and pats him on the shoulder, smiling weakly as he looks him in the eye.

-He then takes out a knife and stabs Sasuke in directly in the heart, holding Sasuke's hand on his sword so he can't fight back. As Sasuke bleeds out and realises that this is the end and begins to panic, Naruto starts to yell at Sasuke, "You made me do this, Sasuke, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry you aren't you, I'm sorry that everything has happened to you like this. You didn't deserve this, we didn't deserve this kind of life." As Sasuke fades away and finally dies, Naruto brings him closer into a deep, mournful hug as he weeps loudly for his friend. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."

This is just one example that proves Naruto was a lot smarter and more mature in Part 1 than he is in the Last.

And even then Naruto wasn't worrying about her specifically, just didn't want his team and a different team to hate on him at the same time. Right after he said that, he started wishing he had cheated off her

Another thing I just noticed the guest review count.  It was at 279 at one point and now its at 276.  Just something to keep in mind.

Those that cheat would be disqualified. Giving the answers to someone is cheating. She and her teammates would all be affected if she did that.

It's not just Hinata that was better in Part 1. Naruto was far better in Part 1 too. The promise of a lifetime he made to Sakura was one of my favorite scenes in the anime. It really showed how selfless of a guy he was, and how much he cared for Sakura's happiness. Too bad that scene is completely ruined once we find out that Naruto didn't care about Sakura because he was just trying to win her affection so he could best Sasuke. It still amazes me that they were able to destroy one of the strongest bonds in the series and ruin many scenes between them with one line of dialogue like that.

 

 

I hate to say this but it makes the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke pointless too. 

 

Still there's one thing Kishi said I'll never forget, " Read the manga before you see The Last"

 

Ughh no you don't, really since it disregards 698 chapters of character development and story progression.
