It's not like he had a choice. He cannot physically or mentally give up on anything he's set his mind to. It's not a choice with him, he has 1 option which he works towards without hesitation. This is actually a very popular characteristic to have in a hero.

he had two choices and he chose the option that he dies with sasuke that why it was a retard speech.
It would be more logic if he said if u attack konoha i will be forced to kill you to protect my friends while this doesnt happen i will try to bring u back

I don't really know when that development took place. Because the last time I was here, it was, "Sakura is not still in love with Sasuke! She's all grown up now! Baaawww!" And also, I don't think he was ever part of the "light side" to begin with.

I would rather have seen this, too. Because I would much rather see Sasuke die than rejoin the village.

Karly, I don't know if you can hear this. I am not a believer, I haven't been since Sheryl died. But if you can, I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for everything bad I've ever said about you. When you were suffering, I should have been there to help you. I should have visited. I should have encouraged you to leave the house and get a job, to be active and alive the way you used to be.
I promise that I will do everything that I can to be successful and a good person, to make you proud the way you would have wanted me to. No matter what I said, I loved you. And I will always love you. Rest in Peace, you will never be forgotten.

Sasuke is still important to Sakura, just like he's important to Naruto and Kakashi. Aside from the attraction she feels towards him, there is much more, like teammate bond. She has not closed the feelings-for-Sasuke chapter yet, but they're slowly fading away. What Sakura really needs is a confrontation with Sasuke. And guess who she's moving on to: Naruto.
Moving on from Sasuke is a big part of her development. She goes from chasing after him as a friend, to realize that he is not the guy she thought he was(at the Kage summit), and now she is utterly ashamed of her feelings for him(540). For her own sake, I want them to fade. Maybe a talk with the guy will give closure to her feelings for him. And then she will be true to herself and admit that Naruto is the one that will make her a sunshine sweetheart -For the most part.
About the last part, 8 year old Sasuke or younger is probably the only one on the light side.

Gah, you have no clue how much I hate when people say that. It's as bad as NH fans saying Naruto doesn't love Sakura anymore.

Again?
she had a confrontation with sasuke.
He tried to kill her two times.
The problem was naruto speech after this sakura was still hoping that he would be back.
I dont know what type of confrontation you wants.
I think you are speaking of a closure for her, sai already got his closure when he understands what friendship means, lets wait for the closure of sakura.

I mean a peaceful confrontation when he's not a crazy dummy anymore. Like in the new movie. I said I wanted them to talk, but they can't talk when he's trying to kill her.

Things could go both way, y'know. Part of growing up is moving on from your past, and all the hardships in it. I think part of why Sakura is having difficulty moving on from Sasuke fully is because she and Naruto are still on the hunt for Sasuke eitherway. Kinda hard to move on from someone when they're put in your brain 24/7. I have a feeling she will eventually, in her own time...

Why does Hinata exist?

Because a manga author created them to be used for his story.

then again I dont know much about Japanese culture, perhaps everybody in Japan takes things literally 100% of the time with no room for altercation.

Why does Sakura exist?
Why does Hinata exist?
sakura exist as a main female character and one of the role she's playing is tsundere which every main female character in manga and anime is, and this trait has a lot of things in a tsundere, one of them are the love interest of the main male character. for hinata, she is a side character that plays in some parts of the like the other side characters but this side character is in love with the main male character which the author put her in this state to be a competition between the main female character and her to play a romance conversation or at least a part of a future chapter between them that consist in some part for the conclusion of the story
by the way tsundere characters amuses me, they are the essential comic relief in the manga and anime XD

Nobody is acting like a fool. You ask why they exist, and that is precisely why they exist. Not every single character has to have a critical function in the story. And any one of the characters, save for the primary protagonist and antagonist, could be done away with if need be. Sakura's function is as the center of the love triangle, and as a supporting character for the hero. Hinata, which is what I'm sure you want to hear, is a driver in one of many sub plots, and serves absolutely no function in the core plot. There is your answer.

And that's a good answer, except in my opinion I would say that Sakura became the main heroin.

She is the main heroine. But her role is not integral to resolving the major conflict so much as it is to tying Naruto and Sasuke, preserving their bond, and resolving their interpersonal conflict.
