That doesn't excuse the fact Naruto actually throw Kushina's scarf because Hinata was pity and he pretty much said, "kitten you, mom." From what I understand, it doesn't have anything redeeming quality, hence scumbag.

That is so NOT Naruto. How Kishi was okay with it is something I'll never understand.

It was very good
Totally love it
Sasuke-kun was my favorite

Sai-kun was also very handsome
Hinata-hime was so kawaii!
I simply cannot ask for any more

The line about Zabuza really got me. I hope you stick around here, Chatte. I loved reading your theories. It's just a shame Kishi didn't put 1/4 the amount of thought into his work that you did.

 

I find it shocking that the person who's spent years voicing and thinking about Sakura has failed to figure out that Sasuke stunts Sakura and he's like a cancer to her character.

 

Absolutely. Sasuke was such a drain on Sakura's growth as a character, and 699 was a perfect example of that. So disappointing.

 

God, whenever I remember Kishimoto's astonishing remark that he made Kushina's dying wishes and later Minato seeing her in Sakura..all just to mislead NS fans, my blood boils. 

 

What a horrible, sadistic man. 

 

I know! The scene with Kushina is probably one of my top 5 from the whole series, and to render it nothing more than a ruse is spiteful and mean spirited.

I don't have hope for my ship anymore, but there is no way Kishimoto or SP or whoever the kitten is responsible for this MESS is getting away with that.
Especially not with just ignoring/deleting negative opinions about their "work".

You and James can message me :) The least I can do is translate on the weekends for whatever you have in mind may it be yosegaki or something else.

My disgust for this movie will grow as long as I have to bare witness to the commercials and posts that I see just by walking on the streets.

trebuie sa intelegi ca tot ce sa facut sa facut pentru bani.dar se pare ca nu au avut ideie cat de mult o sa ii afecteze,dar acum nu mai este cale de intoarcere chiar daca kishimoto ar aparea maine si va zice ca sfarsitul adevarat este altu si ar face o terminare cu NS intrun univers paralel o sa fie degeaba. este prea tarziu si raul deja a fost facut.si eu am terminat cu povestea asta,mi-a lasat un gust amar care nu cred ca o sa il uit prea curand

By the way, I'm pretty new here - I've introduced myself, but
haven't really gotten to posting a lot in the threads. Hopefully I'm welcome :)
In all honesty, I just find it hard to stomach that Kishimoto-sensei would
do this to his manga. I've read through this whole thread (yes all 1378 pages of it) and the fact
we see him contradicting himself in interviews just shows that he does not really believe in
NH. I do believe that the man can write a great story - that's what pulled me into Naruto anyway.
It's not like we all followed Naruto at the start for the sake of romance right?

This therefore begs the question as to why he would go to such an extreme to end his
manga in such a... filthy and frankly stupid way. Also, I really expected @Chatte's
IT theory to be true due to all of the VERY clear mistakes in 700! (how did SS and NH fans not see them!)
15 years working on a manga... just to end it like this? How can a professional mangaka make schoolboy drawing errors like the Tsunade clothes thing? Seems to me like he wanted to get it over and done with. Ugghh it still hurts, not just in an NS perspective but as a literary work in general.

And don't even get me started on The Last. That's just not needed for discussion.

I have no idea why but this comparison with Naruto pre-699 to 699 and up reminds me of comparison with Lorax to Lorax the movie. One delivered a powerful message, the other insults the original.
