Either the guy's trolling or he's reading a different manga than I am...

I've come to realize most NaruHina and SasuSaku fans are reading different manga... must be some poorly written doujinshi

He's the same guy who thinks Hinata is the one who will lead Naruto in the right path, that Sakura never cared about Naruto in the beginning of the manga, and that if NS happens it'll be weak writing(funny coming from a NH fan)

Can somebody tell me what he's babbling about? I don't even want to read his fanfic

Really? Hugging him is no side of romantic feelings?

She was being nice because his arm was broken. Additionally, this and your previous example are before she does the fake confession, so we know that at least until that point she doesn't feel anything romantic for him. Bringing up anything before that point is meaningless.

Getting close to him when she was feeding him shows nothing?

When the hell did this happen?

Saying he looks really handsome, older, and being amazed on how he looks say nothing?

Sakura tells Naruto she loves him, but Naruto calls her out because it's a lie. That is definitive proof that at that point, at least, she doesn't love him and still loves Sasuke.

Like I said, if Sasuke is acting like the way he did with Madara, there is no happy team 7.

He held her as she fell and they shared an extended look in recent chapters and then he said it was thanks to her that he made it. He could've just let her fall and not given a kitten, but he did. Not saying that he automatically loves her because of that, but he clearly isn't indifferent.

Sasuke changed his goals so many times, Naruto has added new goals. So Sakura can't change her goal now? Since when does Sakura = Sasuke or Naruto?

Sasuke achieved his goal of killing Itachi and surpassed it. Naruto has added new goals, but still wants to be Hokage above all. Sakura being the odd one out by just not doing what she stated would be, well, odd.

I don't, actually. I recognize her overarching story. Her story is about becoming a skilled shinobi in her own right and not being helpless. It's about protecting the people she cares about. It's about helping the man she loves: Sasuke. It's always been about that. If she still loved him when he was ready to kill her, why would she change her mind about that when he's actually being a good guy? That would be sh**ting on Sakura's character so much, just like it would be sh**ting on Hinata's character for Hinata, who has wanted to be with Naruto and walk beside him, to not end up with Naruto and just kinda be on the side. Sakura's a more important character than Hinata, though, so it's even more important to the cohesion of the story that she loves Sasuke as she has done thus far.

What every NH forgets about that confession is that Sakura stated two things: That she loves Naruto AND that she doesn't have any feelings for Sasuke anymore. So when Naruto says she is lying, no one can take that as proof that she doesn't like him because she could be lying only about her feelings for Sasuke.

So I've got a semi-tough question to ask. Would anybody lose respect for Sakura (and in extension, Kishi) if SS were to happen?

My answer

This is a tough question for me to both ask and answer, simply because Sakura is one of my favorite characters. But I have to say, yes, I would lose a ton of respect for Sakura. I say this for two reasons:

1.) First (and the shorter of the two) I feel like if SS were to happen, Sakura would have used Naruto and then thrown him away like a broken toy. Let's be real; there is no way that Sakura will be responsible for bringing Sasuke back to the leaf. She even acknowledged this. The one that will bring Sasuke back is Naruto. So basically, Naruto will be bringing Sasuke back, and then just get thrown away because of some misguided sense of "love" for Sasuke. Naruto doesn't deserve that in the least.

2.) Also, I feel like SS is pretty disgusting, especially from Sakura's point of view. Let's throw away the guy that busted his ass only thinking about your happiness, that never hesitated to try to make you smile, that sacrificed so much, including his own happiness, so that you might find some. Let's throw away the only person that understands you, that admires your strength, skill, and intelligence, that loves your insecurities, the person that has made you stronger, given you drive and hope, pushed you to become a better person and ninja, inspired you, saved you when you needed to be saved, protected you (body and heart), defended you against criticism, and has always been there for you, no matter the cost, no matter if you wanted him there or not. Let's throw away the guy that has been your light in the dark in favor of a guy that you know nothing about and never did, that you only ever liked for his looks, that put you down on multiple occasions, that called you useless, that never considered your feelings, that hurt your feelings on multiple occasions, that never admired your strength or skill, that never acknowledged you, that was the cause of all your pain, that said the only reason you weren't stuck in the mother of all genjutsu was because you were standing next to somebody that was important, that would have abandoned you to die because you were worthless in his eyes, and that tried to kill you twice with no remorse or hesitation. Let's throw away the guy who truly loves you from the bottom of his heart for this sociopathic ass clown.

So yeah, I would lose a ton of respect for Sakura if she were to choose Sasuke, and Kishimoto of he were to promote that garbage.

As you can see I hate SS with a passion lol sorry for the length.

As far as your question goes - No, I wouldn't hate Sakura. I would be disappointed with Kishi.

 

Anyway, you make two good points and its exactly the reason SS will never happen. Kishi would be attached to his characters more than any of us and he will not give bad ending to any of his characters. He can't even bring himself to give the criminals a bad ending and ends up making them shine at the end. So do you honestly think he'll make Sakura , his heroine, look bad in the end?? Impossible.

I think multiple people, and not just Hinata or even Sakura, have had roles in leading Naruto down the right path. Another thing in the series is that he can't do everything himself, without the support of his comrades. The bond between comrades is a theme in Naruto. Naruto, the series itself, never has had much of a focus on pairings. 

This is may be debatable even here, but I think that was likely the main point of 615. Putting the focus on Hinata would be doing a disservice to everyone who put in just as much effort as she did.

Well it's heavily hinted by Oda himself. Makino appeared on a cover of Foosha village celebrating Luffy's return to the world after the timeskip and she was holding a newborn baby. Someone asked who the father is and Oda replied "Hmm...it's probably that persons". Who the hell could that person be?

Well i don't think that it will happen. That would just be my interpretation if it did. I'm not worried, but that would be my thought process of what Kishi is trying to endorse through Sakura.

But the point the other guy is saying is that Hinata is the main one and Sakura hasn't done anything that has lead him into the right path. Hinata has to be the only one who gets with Naruto because she's the most important character to do so

These dumb pairing wars are almost making me want to drop Naruto until the manga is over and end game pairings are established  You can have all the fine theories in the world, but in the end Kishi's gonna do whatever the frick he wants.

 

I have to admit the guy has a semi-plausible theory, but he seems to only acknowledge canon when it suits him. Sakura has been shown on multiple occasions to not only have a soft and caring side, but to directly and willingly support Naruto. (Not out of obligation, either.)

Hinata always supported from a distance until late in part two. And even then only twice. I guess you might be able to count the healing salve in part one.

The guy's theory could work...if you ignore the bigger picture.

Since I first read that sentence by Kishimoto for Sakura designs  and said "her entirely arbitrary choice of love object" I new that Kishimoto is an anti-Sasusaku fan but forget my thoughts, Kishimoto wrote and draw a lot of hate and emotional abuse in manga that even you don't need read that sentence to think in that way

if Kishimoto do sasusaku why he would used that words? : "entirely arbitrary choice" ...

They are very strong words in discussing compatibility in their characters, especially when he says later, "gives her a realism that I love," talks about the mistake that Sakura does judging by appearance but especially her immaturity that give that realism.

Not only that she can be happy in, but the fact that the only person she can be herself around is Naruto. Around Sasuke she lacks self confidence and is extremely submissive. It's disgusting. With Naruto, she can be loud, and be herself.

Sounds like he wants to rewrite the manga, then, or at least rationalize everything in order to make it support NH.

 

Fiction is subjective, I'll give him that. One will agree or disagree with where Kishi decides to go with the story, and not everything thinks Naruto and Sakura would realistically (as in, in the real world) work as more than friends. (Which I obviously disagree with, but oh well.)

But it won't change that Kishi's going in his own direction. I'll admit I could be wrong, this is something I'm nearly always willing to hold as a possibility, but from my viewing of the series it really looks like it's been heading toward NS from the get go.

I remember when they first kissed in that series I screamed like a girl. Too bad she ended up with Harry out of pity and guilt when her heart belonged to Peter.

 

Off topic but yeah i was a bit sad that she didn't end up with peter because of what happened at the end of season 2.The planned season 3 got cancelled because at that time disney brought marvel.
