This line is the only thing I was responding to in the first place--the idea that she wouldn't know how to handle his (at times) overwhelming personality traits. While I agree that she'd have trouble doing so--as I stated earlier--I don't think she was completely blind to these parts of him just because her "favorite" part of him was his determination/nindo, or never considered them alongside the aspects of him she admired most.
*shrug* That's all.
@Phantom-- Um....congratulations for having ADD? I do too, so...wasn't worried about offending anyone XD

Hinata doesn't know how important bonds are to Naruto because she has never spend time with him. However Sakura DOES know how important bonds are to him she knows how far he's willing to go to save a friend, especially when that person he wants to save is his first friend, rival and best friend, the first bond he forged.

(Is this directed at me? I dunno, I'mma answer like it is.)
I agree with all of what you said--I was responding to a comment that only touched on Hinata's reaction/ability to deal with Naruto's brashness/pranking/hyperness/etc. There's no question about whether she really knew everything that made up who he is--i.e., the "deeper" aspects; what I commented on was whether or not she could handle his general personality.

Even Sakura is surprised sometimes about Naruto... and she's the one that knows him the most, with Kakashi and Jiraiya. We can add Yamato.
Hinata knows that Naruto never gives up, that's why she admired him all these years, and that's why she loves him.
About Naruto and what he feels for Hinata, i thought about something yesterday.
Here, we have talked many times about the last databook, and the fact that Naruto still loves Sakura.
I think there is another thing that we can bring up, instead of the databook.
When Sakura declares to Naruto : his first reaction is to be happily surprised.
And just after that, he doubts Sakura, because he's not aware of all the feelings she had for him, because she just showed feelings for Sasuke (when he watched). Plus, Naruto is dense. ^^ lol
But at that time, he never thought about Hinata.
And Sakura declared AFTER Hinata declared.
Naruto should have at least thought about Hinata, if he would feel a little same as the girl.
But he doesn't ever think about her.
I think this is a pretty strong proof of him still in love with Sakura, and a pretty strong proof of how little he feels for Hinata.
I think he was really touched by what she've done, risked her life and all.
But it's clear that even all she have done (and sacrificing is BIG) he is still not in love with her
What can she do MORE ?
Naruto will never love her.
He didn't reject Sakura feelings because he became in love with Hinata, he rejected them because he didn't believe them.
He could have, but he didn't.
What Hinata have done didn't change anything. It's canon.
You know, if, after all that, Kishi would make NaruHina *pop* out of nowhere, that would be bullsh** lol
That would be really odd... just like Naruto told Sakura ^^
(I would like Naruto to be aware of what Sakura have done for him when he wasn't able to see. With this, he could believe her)

unable to focus on romance
during Part I, he was to
emphasize it more in Part II,
despite finding it difficult.''
I know Kishi has been building romantic tension between Naruto and Sakura, but what if he doesnt pair anybody up?

Then that's life. I'm sure if that was Kishi's plan then he wouldn't be making these "hints" though.

I think you have him confused with Oda, Kishimoto never said he would not put romance in Naruto, he did say however that he wasn't the best at writing romance but neither is George Lucas and that didn't stop him!!

Both had secrets they needed to keep from the other... end of story
it didn't change how Sakura felt about Naruto as we can see in the following chapters, nor did it change how Naruto feels about Sakura again looking at the following chapters

If you want to argue an argued to death question again a better one with a newer twist- and not yet 100% answered in the manga or directly by Kishimoto: "Is Naruto still as much in love with Sakura as before, or did having to face the changed young woman, who he knows loves him now, lessen his desire (not end, we know for certain that's not true- another nondebatable topic.) for her- in other words, now that she's not the impossible fantasy girl, but a very much attainable young woman (A sure thing, no longer the impossible challenge), is his drive toward her lessened? He loves her, but did that love drop in his mind's priority once it was no longer tied to his rivalry with Sasuke ? (no more triangle, her heart is with Naruto. Any remnants or memories of feelings she might still carry for Sasuke has no impact on her overwhelming love for Naruto. )
