He said it wouldn't be a focus...

As I remember, he said it's manga about adventure, not about romance, not that there was anything romantic apart from Boa's jokish part.

He said that it annoyed him that he got mail from fans talking specifically about romance. He said that OP is about adventure, and that there wouldn't be any focus on romance. That doesn't mean he won't put people together. He just probably won't go too deep into their romance, like Roger and Rouge or Shanks and Makino. He'd probably do Luna the same way he did those two.

The ship is sailing. You have to admit that Zoro x Robin is not as entertaining. They argue like a married couple and I like how Zoro put his  hand on her shoulder... its quite rare for him to show physical signs of affection.

 

Sanji said that she would be alright and Zoro actually has a softer side. I wonder if much like Strong world (luna message of love) Sanji noticed that there was something intimate going on between the two to the point he knew that marimo would take good care of her.

More accurately if you ask me is it won't be developed on panel cause he doesn't want focus shifted from what's important.

Its a member of AP and a trustworthy tanslator. The point is that its obvious that Tashigi has the hots for Zoro and marimo clearly cares for her.

 

I hope Toei and Shonen do not pull on a hinatard on Luna with Hancock considering their views on women. I hope Tashigi will eventually shine and fly cause she is like the opposite of Hinata. She is cute and all but she has personality, determination, chemistry with Zoro, independence, wanting to be among the top tiers which seems almost impossible but I can't help but root for her. Much like Sakura she has flaws and they are part of her character. That's what makes her relatable and of course a lot of the fans don't understand her and think she is only weak and annoying. People in the US confuse her anger with feminazi. Considering that she is the equivalent of a Japanese woman wanting to break out of an extremely sexist society (that is stuck in a feudal Japan mentality) its really understandable. Much like Kuina, Tashigi being loud mouthed is only a facade because she doesn't want to be seen as weak but deep down she is extreme compassionate and kind heated. In other words, she has self esteem issues and much like anyone of us we put on a facade because we are afraid to be judged by others. The fact that she doesn't despise everything that makes a woman desirable like being good with children and being kind and listen doesn't make her a feminazi.
