Now thast is LOVE and not just staying together because they have a kid this is why Kishi is such a bad writer man I mean come on NH and SS are only together thanks to their kid and with out the kid they can't stay together. That is just sad and makes me feel so angry as well when Kishi says this.

That interview is just more of the same crap. This is either the third of the fourth time that Kishi has claimed that everything was planned from the beginning. Just stop it Kishi. It's getting emberrassing. No, scratch that. It was already embarrassing. Now it's nothing more than a damn farce.
I also have to laugh at how Kishi wanted to take the "natural" route, because the way this ending was handled, both story wise and pairing wise, is anything but natural. If you're not good with romance, then just don't include any romance. No love triangle, no pairing teases. Just a straighforward story and if you absolutely need to have your characters hook up at some point in order to extend the franchise, keep it simple.
I you didn't think that NS would work, then why did you spend so much time developing it? There's no way around this. NS has deveopment. NH, not so much.
Don't give me this crap about "quality over quantity", because according to The Last, Naruto is still just as oblivious to Hinata's affection at age 19 as he was when he was 17. This means that for 699 chapters, NH was completely one sided. The only part in the manga where NH is a thing is in chapter 700 and that's not even really a proper chapter. It's more like an epilogue, which means it's not really part of the main story.
SS has more development than NH, but it's just as one sided and it's toxic as hell. It's clear that neither party really understands the other and they don't even seem to care that much. SS might have been planned from the beginning, but the execution is piss poor.
Meanwhile there's NS, who has tons of slow gradual development. Watching Naruto and Sakura's relationship evolve over time is one of the most natural things in the entire manga. It fits perfectly in with the rest of the story without having to resort to overblown scenario's where the whole world is at stake or by including lots of unnecessary angst. I know that it's not the best pairing in the world and I'll admit that Kishi could have done a lot more with it, but it's way better than NH and SS.
Spare me the "But it's so revolutionary to not have the main guy end up with the tsundere" argument. The problem isn't that the main guy didn't end up with the tsundere and instead ended up with the shy girl. It's that it was done poorly. If NH and SS had had the same kind of development that NS had, then I wouldn't have a problem with them. I might not have liked it, but at least I could understand and respect Kishi as a storyteller. New kitten is still kitten.

If this movie was about family, why weren't Naruto and Hinata the ones to set Boruto straight? Why did SS never interact as a family and only show Sakura and Sasuke near each other at the end, with no words spoken between them? It's because the only thing the editors know will sell best is SNS, not these crappy families.

we got a review
Don't know if this blog is actually impartial, so I will reserve my opinions for a later moment
However I noticed some incoherencies in the review like saying that the next generation isn't a carbon copy of the past one and then saying that Boruto is like Naruto but "just with a dark streak" (lol), and Salad is a mixture of Sasuke and Sakura personalities, with Sasuke's on the forefront...she also never mentionet the rest, for example from what we've seen Shikadai looks and acts like Shikamaru 2.0 and Inojin is probably just a blond Sai...so I disgress
She also relies too much on how the movie made her feel, and didn't analysed if it made sense or no, she only analysed the technology thing ( which is pretty controversial) briefly, everall it was a bad, very subjective review
Ah...and it looks like BS being hetero SNS is confirmed, they even made a parallel about SNS relationship and BS relationship in this movie... expected

One thing I want to mention. Don't base if people like the ending and everything that came with it including the movies on the reviews. But base it on how many copies Gaiden sells compared to the rest of the Naruto volumes, and how many tickets this movie will sale. Basically how much money these two will make.
Then we will actually get the picture of how many people like the ending and if you're the wrong ones saying this move was stupid. Because there's a possibly that this move wasn't stupid for them.

Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

I don't think it will go as down as the last did because most people who are going to watch this movie are people who still associate themselves with the franchise

As expected. Only the pairing-tards and the casual fans are the ones doing the ratings.

I think it needs the movie and this to be successful. Whatever the case may be, part 3 won't happen with Kishi. And that alone is bad idea. It only ask for GT fallout. But who knows.I think gaiden will be a succes if gaiden sell 500 thousand more or less.

I expected to head the direction of being better than The Last...
I honestly don't see this movie dropping ratings at least not significantly drastic like the Last.
