I was thinking about how the last two soundtrack pieces from the movie are "home" and "family" What if the film ends with Sakura inviting Naruto into her home to meet her real parents? Be kind of a funny but sweet scene to end the movie with. And if Sakura does have scenes with Naruto, Minato and Kushina in the genjutsu world, it would also serve as a parallel in the real world.

well i think "home" will be when naruto returns to his own world and "family" will be when he got that book of photos and see those moments.

emotional pain ? didnt we see naruto getting his father cloak and inheriting only u are seeing emotional pain, what kishimoto has to do with your thoughts.
romance are for comedy purposes on this movie they already said it.

but this is an scene in the movie the whole world is a illusion along with the book but naruto opens the book and see the photos the "family" theme would suit perfectly.

I am not sure what to make of this movie, but from what I can gather, this is some kind of genjutsu that Naruto and Sakura are under by Tobi to live a life that shows what his life would be like if things were different? I guess that is what everyone is saying.

Interesting idea. It is cool that Kishimoto is showing stuff in this that maybe sheds light to the Naruto world, but the biggest question I have been seeing is "Is this canon?" This movie is written by Kishimoto so you think it would be, but I don't know. I don't think it is "canon" per-say.

At best, we can say it is a show of author intent. Unless Kishi writes a special chapter like Kubo and Oda did, we won't be able to know where we can put the context of this movie in canon.

no we cant because i know that in a movie the team can make some small changes on the script done with kishimoto that why i cant take it seriously and even the author himself make it he will have to make a story to attend the publicity, this will not allow the writer to make a story that he likes he have to make a story that will please it's fans, we just see 6 trailers with SS and NH shipping, this please NH and SS fans and the fact that sakura is the main character and naurto too please NS shippers.
the movie itself is full of speculations and the fact that we got more and more speculations they are receiving free publicity.
That's why i cant take the movie srsly because even if kishimoto did the movie i think the team did some changes to please fans.
Kishimoto put naruto's parents by force on the movie with some asspull jutsu without a logical explanation how can two people stay so long on a genjutsu plus how naruto and sakura are eating if even the food does not exist where they sleep of the bed does not exist, she even took an bath!!!!!

if he said naruto and sakura are struck in some parallel dimension it would make more sense(like chrono cross).

he did an forced story he draw sakura's parents in the hope to make a movie that please the fans, it can be the best or the worst naruto's movie ever.

is the same thing that i see a couple of times on forums each chapter they say "naruto is kitten, kishimoto doing sh*tty stuffs, blahblahblah" then they some say" i just read this kitten to see if naruto will get hinata in the end" stuff like this make me rage.

it's the same thing with this movie, dont care about the plot asspull jutsus, characters forced to enter in the plot without logicall reasons, things without explanatiosn but if we got 10-15 mins of "NS shipping and kushina and sakura interactions" u guys will say this is the "BEST NARUTO MOVIE EVER" srsly.

i would love to see but i expect a better plot with things well explained without things being introduced by force, all the movie that had things with asspull and characters being introduced by force failed,Blood Prison ( naruto forced to go to the prison without a logical explanatione, naruto knew who bee when he only met him at the pre-war arc)

Lost Tower: the most unfortunate film of all time.
I think the author was in the early morning and scribbled a few things to make a some bucks.

Movie Bonds: Sucked really hard when they put sasuke by force on that movie.

he's trying to make a movie to surpass the others but i think it will fail.

I just wanted to see a movie with a decent plot look at movie 1 naruto it was enjoyable they had fillers characters but had a good plot, they could bring naruto's parents, sakura's, 3453 sasukes narutos kyuubs, but a good movie has a good plot and this is something that is missing on this naruto's movie.
if they wanted to make something to show the characters reactions they could make filler episodes or some mini-arc but a movie, a movie needs a plot not gathering all the chars and see what they will happen.

I second that too Slex. Of course I'm expecting NS moments in the movie but I mainly think it will be best because it's a movie written and directed by Kishimoto himself. And the last movie he was involved in but didn't directed was Shippuden movie 3 and we all remember that there were NS moments in that movie. Now imagiined a movie that Kishimoto is completely involved in as writer and director, also it's the first Naruto movie where Minato and Kushina are present not to mention Madara and Akatsuki. Those are enough reasons to why this movie will be the best of all Naruto movies.

On a different note, whatever happen at that Naruto ceremony thing that happened on June 30th? Does anyone know anything about it, because I'm just curious if anything important was revealed during that day. Like any new information about the genjustu world, or more information about Naruto's parents, or anymore teases about Narusaku like they SUPPOSEDLY did a few months back, or anything new we didn't know about.

Probably nothing really important, other then revealing the new trailer, but I just want to know if anyone knows for sure what happened.

i would agree with you but kishimoto may be the guy who write and make the movie but watching the trailers and see the synopsis i can tell that the movie is missing a well write plot.
may i can like the movie or not but it will be only because NS moments or characters reactions but not the plot itself.

How do you know the plot of this movie won't be 10x more amazing than the last 5? It certainly wouldn't be getting so much hype if it didn't have good structure. We've got the main villain of the cannon series launching an attack on Konoha, an all out battle between Konoha 11 and the Akatsuki members, the hero and heroine of the story being trapped in an illusionary jutsu, the legendary 4th Hokage fighting at his son's side, AU-characters acting *way* OOC compared to their RW counterparts, bonding between Naruto and the Kyuubi, dark Kyuubi vs light Kyuubi, and that may not even be everything. What more could you be looking for? Wait until you actually see the movie before deciding that the plot, which none of us know any details about, is going to suck.

Also, stop criticizing people for discussing possible interactions between characters. Anticipating pairing service is just a bonus for fans who enjoy the couples.

I dunno I will not watch this movie after all I don't watch much anime and have only ever seen one Naruto movie, (the first one which I liked) but I think this movie has a good plot from what I have read and a departure from what I believe most of the Naruto movies plots have been (save new princess etc)

I guess it all comes down to whether or not you like Kishimoto as a writer (which I do) I love the complexity of Naruto and cringe when people don't realize that most of what they think is a surprise has been set up in earlier chapters even if by a passing comment
