The HP movies' saga was a tragedy.

While the first two movies, directed by Chris Columbus, bordered perfectly the magic transmitted by the books, from the third book onwards is a bustle of decline in quality, in terms of script especially. I understand the cuts are inevitable in such movies but, from 'the Prisoner of Azkaban' on, they have nothing to do with books. Especially the personalities in prisoner of Azkaban, directed by Cuaron. Or as Ron who has made more "sympathetic" in the movies when in the books I find him really intolerable and too envious.

But this is an old personal gripe of mine.

I found the Prisioner of Azkaban to be the best movie followed closely by goblet of fire 

 

And Ron is far better in the books, the movie series actually relegated some of his achievements in favour of other's people achievements
