The thing that really interests me is if Mavis knows about Natsu, or if she doesn't know, I wonder what he'd reaction would be. I'm still waiting for Gray to realize how much of an idiot he is with his arrogance, especially when he finds out about Natsu and who he really is.

Zeref did tell her about  the etherios he created so it is possible he told her off panel about Natsu as well .

 

So even Zeref needs the eternal magic to take on Acnologia ? That is just over the top , I really hope this is not heading the same direction Kishi took with Madara , when he said he  had no idea how to defeat him

I'm worried if Mashima forgets "that" jutsu technique with Natsu. Maybe bigger fire.

That seems like the case, I think I'm gonna re-read the final arc of Rave Master to remind myself how things went down there.

I just finished rereading the final arc of Rave Master and here is how it ended: 

 

 

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ RAVE MASTER

One of the big mysteries that was surrounding the story of Rave Master was the main female protagonist Ellie. Throughout the story she's had memory loss and she spent the whole story figuring out what her past was like. That was one the last big plotpoint that took place before the final battle came to fruition. The battle ends with the Haru, The main protagnist sacrificing his life to save the world from Endless it was kinda similar to Lumen Histoire. A year passed by Haru gets ressurected, and he ends up with Ellie and it gets off on a peaceful note.


Now considering what happened here we know more into mavis and the relationship she had with Zeref. The situation here is quite similar to how things went down in Rave Master, and one of the main things thats remaining is E.N.D. which is Natsu and him realizing that He and Zeref are long lost brothers. Then comes the final battle.

Calling it now, Natsu took the power from Acnologia's right arm and put it in his own arm. It's game time, we're getting the dream END Natsu vs Zeref vs Acnologia. Can't wait!

Not going to lie, but my heart was racing when I thought we were getting pairing confirmation because it was calm before storm. Still, one seem to be ready to go but I got a bad feeling this arc could be something that will change the course once more. They weren't ready and now, things are about to get worse. War, here we go!

Lol @ Lucy bringing up the death flag. In a way, Natsu will probably die this go round. It makes me more hyped for the END revelation tbh

I'm so hyped about FT at the moment . Hope it will not disappoint . And that talk about death flags , wonder if Hiro will have the guts to actually kill any major character on panel for the first time ( my bet is  on Makarov dying  in this war )

Yeah, I'm really excited for Fairy Tail to this point. Can't wait for the next chapters. I also can't wait for Gray go get his face stuffed in by END, I like Gray, but I've felt like he's been really arrogant regarding END since the end of the Tartaros arc. He'll be eating his words when he finds out its Natsu.

I defintely agree,  I know this is the final arc but I'm gonna be a little skeptical towards Death flags considering that we might not get any.  If Macrov actually does die I'll be fairely impressed,  now on one hand Hiro did do Rave Master before this and we had significant character deaths when it came to the final arc. With Fairy Tail The only significant deaths I can think of are Simon, Silver, Igneel (technically they were both dead).  I mean I'm just gonna wait and see how the ball is going to role with this battle, one of the few things I'm excited to see is Mavis's tactician skills again similar to how she portrayed them in the GMG arc (even though I'm not huge fan of the arc) and Fairy Tail Battle. 

 

The First battle is gonna be pretty obvious Natsu vs Ajeel considering the title of next chapter.
