I hope this retcon turns people off to the idea of buy a movie ticket, so that they can get the one-shot of Naruto becoming Hokage, cause this is just stupid as hell.

I am not sure how the ending was anywhere near the story's natural course. Unless he has a very different and disturbing meaning for  "natural".

 

Then again , the story started going off its natural course long before the ending .

You know when i first heard that they were watching over the kids together. I figured they would be closer together you know holding hands, arm around shoulders, something like that. They don't look like  spouses or lover watching their child they look like two friends watching a ball game.

From a business stand point, and if it is all about money, then what difference does it make? I have to wonder if they themselves are living a lie with high expectations on how good this movie "might" do. I find it funny how the fans curse Kishimoto out, say the movies are bad, but then these people turned a blind eye or blame the fans themselves for the bombing.

None of this makes sense from any stand point, because if it was, wouldn't you just cater to the fans to make more money than to keep going down the route that would get you more hated. It's funny how this notion works where if we're "only doing it for money" and if say you make more money redoing it than to just keep going with this plan, then why not redo it? Why continue something knowing it didn't make money?

They are too much thinking in the short run than the long run and they just hope the long run works out. I mean, let's be honest changing or retconing the story now couldn't make the story any worse than it is. If you're already in a hole why continue to dig? I know some would argue that retconning now would just be a waste of time, but then them keep doing this is just as much a waste of time as anything. In fact, it is more insulting this way than it is to retcon it at this point.

I am going to lay it down flat on this...yeah when the last was coming out it was all a business plan, but now that Naruto has basically been in the red because of everything that is going on....they don't care anymore. Kishimoto especially is a guy who just doesn't care anymore and you can see it everytime he does an interview now. He is just saying whatever to answer the question and then move on with it.

I am just wondering why.....why did they let this all go to hell in a hand basket all because of a stupid fandom and a notion to make money when it failed horribly?

I am not sure who is really living the delusion here. To these businesses actually believe this is making them tons of money? Do they actually think that the fans who complaining are such a minority it falls under "acceptable losses?" The fact that they think more of a business stand point than a moral one or even logical one is the whole reason why this series failed in the first place. Look at Oda and other mangaka who don't see it from a business stand point and they are making more money than Naruto ever did...and they are still going with it.

From a business stand point, and considering the market as it is, you don't just do things for the aspect of making money off of it. You do it because you see how people enjoy it. What is with these Japanese business men who believe that doing things AGAINST real fan discussions and wants is what makes more money? Why are they so much hard at work selling a lie when giving the truth is so much more profitable?

You know why Micheal Bay makes money and some of these directors don't? Because Micheal Bay doesn't talk out his ass thinking he is some great director who makes master pieces. He knows that his movies are popcorn flicks so people can have fun even if the story falls short sometimes and that is the point. Same with the directors of the marvel movies and why they make so much. Yeah some of the plots have holes, but they are fun movies to watch and they still hold the essence of what the fans loves the most. It's not fake.

It just pisses me off to know end because we know they are lying and they are fake, but they continue to try and convince us it was all okay.

This is why I really...jsut rally want to burn these studios to the ground. I mean literally. Not kill anyone, but just burn the empire to the ground and fiddle as it burns because honestly, they people need a harsh lesson in reality.

James I never this is the right way to do it, it's just that I understand it, if this is really what they are doing. They made a move most likely they know it wasn't the right one financially by now but they continue on it to see what happens next.

Let me give you an example. A computer company called OCZ, you can Google it to find out exactly what happened in detail but here's a short version. Now as far as I know OCZ didn't produce their products; they were rebrands. A couple of years ago they made power supplies and SSDs, they also made other stuff but the focus was on those two.

 

Now OCZ made really cheap and crappy power supplies and SSDs, but they advertised the crap out of them, they lied to the consumers that their products were just as amazing as the other more expensive ones from other brands and they also paid reviewers. I even wanted to buy a power supply from them because it sounded like a great product.

And you know what, they succeeded. They made a lot of money from doing these things. They fooled a lot of people and convinced so many to buy their products. It worked.

 

Now it took a couple of years for people to actually notice that OCZ products were garbage and eventually OCZ filed for bankruptcy because even though they made money in the begin, they eventually lost. Toshiba bought them or some pattens that they owned, not sure exactly.

 

Of course I know a computer company doesn't have anything to do with a story. But I'm not trying to compare them in that way.

I'm just pointing out that lying to people in order to sell your product does work. And of course advertising the kitten out of your product.

 

That's what I meant when I said I understand them, if this is indeed what they are doing. Most likely by now they know this ending and everything that come out of it is utter crap, but will continue for some time to see what will happen. Because maybe people are really stupid, and Burrito and Gaiden are going to sell through the roof. It can happen when you have people like whateverworld saying Gaiden is an amazing drama story or whatever he said.
