He's a half-ghoul, yes, but how strong is that ghoul-side of him that it would even affect his reproduction system? If he was a natural one-eyed ghoul, it'd be a complete different matter, of course.

I just remembered... Both him and Takatsuki never got detected when they went to the CCG. I'm expecting for that to be explained in the future.

Speaking of Kaneki, initially he only had one Kakuhou transplanted in him, right? But after he cannibalized, he had several more? The wiki says that he has an unspecified amount    I always get confuse about that.

Well, I'm sure the effects of the cannibalism will strengthen his ghoul side, and probably have an effect on the child.

 

Yeah, initially he only had one Kakuho, but the cannibalism allowed him to develop more as he ate more, so his original RC cells developed more Kakuho.

Theory about Touka's mom

I'm pretty sure that Touka's mom Hikari is actually Yomo's older sister.
If you look here, Touka's mom has the same hairstyle as her daughter. Note that the shade of her hair color is light.

Also, in a flashback scene, Arata said that Touka was just like her mom when he saw her bringing home all these insects.
Now, when you go back to Yomo's flashback scene, you'll see his older sister. It looks to me like she's a lot older than him.

So, you can see that the hairstyle of his sister is similar to Hikari's- and Touka's. Shade of hair color also fits. And isn't it ironic how his sister isn't scared about touching insects while her little brother is disgusted? This is kind of a parallel to Touka and Ayato in my eyes. Finally, see that person with the dark hair that Yomo talked with when the person revealed to him that Yomo's sister was killed by Arima who was only 16 back then? I suspect that guy was Arata who was unable to protect Hikari. Considering how Arima was only 16, the time span also fits since that makes Touka about 4 and Ayato 2 or 1 yrs old when Hikari died.

Well, I did hear that back with DBZ, just going around it multiple times. It's the reason why we keep getting new editions of the collections, like Dragon Box. Oh well. I guess people just won't go more beyond it.

I think it's just sad you know? That people are so narrow minded and can't try to embrace more of the Japanese culture. There soso many manges and anime so much better than this jack fest called Naruto. The manga is decent at best, and no one tell me otherwise. Ugh, it just pisses me off how a mangaka like Kishi is getting so much attention in the western when others like Ishida or Oda deserved it way more than that Trollmoto.

Couldn't agree more. Well, at least AoT got them for once. I hope TG does well. One Piece not being popular is unfair. Gintama, well they are disappointed in us for not making it so. TG... First it needs to find another animation studio. I've noticed how a lot of people only watch animes. If they ever wanna get into mangas, the anime has to convince them first. I don't think you should rely on SP for that (at least the majority of the time).

Gintama, never watched it (but will). I am aware though that it is a highly acclaimed series. When it comes to One Piece, it's just that in general I've noticed people hate the drawing style or the "crazy" world building of One Piece. I feel like people want to follow something more grounded on reality and seriousness.

Maybe TG got adapted by SP back then b/c no one saw its true potential? It wasn't really that well known before the anime. Otherwise it should have been adapted by A-1 or Madhouse. I mean, Nanatsu no Taizai/ The Seven Deadly Sins barely had a hundred chapters by the time it was screenlit for an anime by Studio A-1. The anime to TG caused awareness though, so I'll give the anime credit for that (not SP b/c even the sh*ttiest animation studio could have done that). I hope it'll get a reboot in the future, best when :re is nearing its end like FMAB did when it started back then in 2009. So far now, I'll try to support the manga by buying the volumes here in the US. The first one is coming out soon ^^

I had no idea how negatively received the anime to One Piece was here in the US. In Germany, where I used to live, my brother and I were digging the anime. The voice actors were doing an extremely good job. Also, the german adaptation always sticked to the original anime intros. It was shown up to Enel's Lobby (or whatever way you write it), and then suddenly it switched channel w/out me being aware of it for years -.-

Yeah, US got it bad with One Piece, to the point where an article in Japan made fun of it with Sanji carrying a lollipop. It's mishandled not because they did a poor job intentionally, rather because they targeted towards kids only, so the treatment is all changed. No kills, more kids friendly, no blood, and so on. Because of that, people would think One Piece is for kids only.

Now for TG, I don't know how it's handled in the anime, but I imagine it being Mass Effect in main story only speed run. Vanilla of the series. That is not good. Ishida put a lot of time and effort with his characters and dialogues that's meaningful and such, yet they will do this to him. It's not like this series is all action and no substance. That's what makes hard to appreciate the series. Once I see it, I'll see why it was mishandled.
