I would never toss my bloggie in the back burner! Bloggie is going to grow fat with all my posts again, I assure you! 8D

But yeah, being sick = not fun AT ALL. It's sorta half-half, because I seem to be holding it back a little. I have a runny nose and a bit of the coughs, but they're not tooooo bad... as long as I don't run out of tissues. Coughs are way worse than the runny noses because they're way annoying. D:

I'm making paper planes at the moment. Science assignment. I'm doing my experiment on paper planes - does the size of a paper plane affect the distance it flies. Two of the three types of planes I made don't work, so now I need to find two others that do work. I just found one, and now I need another one. Then I'm going to go down to the garage and fly my planes and anyone who goes down there will look at me like I'm crazy. One of the planes that didn't fly properly shot straight up and got stick in the pipes the last time I tried. XD

Ah, I missed my H&E blog. Good to be back! wow.png

I haz new earphones made of awesome and win now! wow.png I bought a pair of in-ear ones last week but I didn't like the sound quality; it was all tingy and weird, so I went to refund it. Now I have another pair! And what a coincidence, it's exactly five cents cheaper than the one I just refunded XD

I bought four packets of tissue to school in case I'd run out. I got through one today... not sure if that's exactly a good thing; I usually use two on my first day. Guess I'm not as sick as usual. Yay for cough drops!

Got our marks for our French speaking test back. That test was horrible! We just had to get a native French speaker who spoke real fast - way too fast for us amateurs! arg.gif He said half marks rounded up to the next whole mark, so I guess my 7.5/10 is now an 8. Not too bad considering how many times I stumbled over the words and had to have him repeat the question. XDD I am so dropping French next year...

Ooh, PE wasn't that bad. We had to run two laps around the hockey field but I couldn't regulate my breathing until ten minutes after that because I had a blocked nose. Breathing in through your mouth when you run makes you start puffing earlier. sweatdrop.gif And since we're doing athletics, we did relays. With batons. Argh, I hate batons! I like running at full speed and then slapping real hard on the next person's hand. biggrin.gif

It was sort of funny - we had this exercise where there were four - or was it five? - cones and the four members of the team had to spread out along them, one on each cone. Ah yep, five cones; one was the 'finishing line'. So we had a whole hockey field of witches hats, and basically you just pass the baton between your team. One person runs up, passes baton to next person, next person runs, passes baton, blahblah. So. We had a race. Quite hilarious, actually. One of my friends organised the whole thing and even gave us our positions. Apparently, me and another friend run the fastest, so we were the last two at the end. We only had one try for it.

And the friend who was supposed to pass the baton to me missed my hand completely and ended up dropping it. I was laughing my head off. The friend who had organised it had this big 8O face that cracked me up - and made me start coughing. XD But yeah, batons - not my specialty.

And then we had badminton. I'm starting to like badminton. I get to smash the shuttlecock a lot, and it's quite fun when you have good players. I'm still holding the racquet like a tennis one though. happy.gif

PB if your cough/runny nose doesn't let up after a few more day, try this brand: EASE a COLD. its a bit bitter but it worls miracle. I should know, I got cough/runny nose and fever for a week, not even doctor prescribed med work but then I change to this med and got cured within HOURS (not days). so... yeah. Prob works better if you got strepsils too, also to get rid of the taste, trust me, its nasty... especially if you accidently bite the capsule.

I think I'm starting to get a little better now - didn't even finish a packet of tissues today. biggrin.gif If it doesn't go away, I'll find this miraculous medicine and give it a try. I think I'll be alright with the bitterness; my dad made me drink this really bitter and yucky herbal thing that looked like soy sauce... I'm hoping I'll get better in a couple of days though. It sucks not being able to eat dark chocolate. D:

I had this real weird dream last night. I dreamt that my house was getting robbed. XD I think it was because two of my friends got robbed recently. In my dream, there were these guys in black and looking like ninjas, and they didn't even try to look 'stealthy'. They just stood right in front of my house while the others went through the stuff inside. And it was funny because when I somehow got into the house, absolutely nothing was missing! wow.png

My mum looked at me weird when I told her about my dream XD;

So yep, got our science half-yearly marks back. 50/55 for me. Two of my friends got 51 and 52 so I'm like 'rawrdonatemarksnao'. And got commerce test back too. I... can't remember the mark, actually. sweatdrop.gif It was out of 50, and my memory tells me I got 40-something. 49.5, I think...? Something like that. Not a spectacular mark, but commerce was never my best subject. I'm not very financially conscious and I looooaaathe law and society. XD;

My bus had its time changed. It's my early day today and I get off at 2:26. I usually get home by 3, but this time the bus came at 3. Hmph. It was interesting though. An old lady started talking to me, and we ended up sitting opposite each other on the bus. I was surrounded by three old ladies, and they just started talking like they were old friends, except they were perfect strangers. Old people can be so sociable happy.gif

My maths teacher checked our homework today and I completely forgot about it. >.> I just told her I'd done half of it but lost the sheet, and she gave me another one. Lots of people forgot theirs so she said she'd check tomorrow. Which means I actually have to do it. Dammit.

Aaaand back to those personality quizzes I started yesterday. Interesting things, I tell you. The internet knows more about me than I do! tongue.gif

Whoopie for the athletics carnival! And whoopie for me not participating in the events! And whoopie for me freezing my ass off because I didn't participate in the events! wow.png

I actually remember I used to love athletics carnivals in primary school. But now that it's not compulsory to take part in the events, I sort of dropped out of it. My friends went in a couple of events, and I had quite a fun time laughing at my friends collapse onto the high jump vault. Of course, I doubt I would have been able to jump it myself anyway - such a hypocrite I am!

I spent most of the time doing my tutoring homework. Yes, I had a bludge day and I spent it doing my tutoring homework. Serves me right for not doing it until the day it's due, I guess. I didn't actually finish all of it, but I did do most of it. The teacher actually collects and checks our homework now.

Except at tutoring today, he didn't come to collect my book because I don't take the English tutoring lesson and he didn't try to find me in the self-study room. So he didn't mark my book. Again. I think he's only marked my book once in all of the 5 weeks I've been there this term. Thing is, there are apparently going to be reports from tutoring at the end of the term and he will record our homework marks. And - HORROR - they'll be calling our parents to talk about how we've been doing. I am soooo doomed. D: How sad; I actually did it but won't get it marked because he didn't come to get my book. I am so going down to the front office and handing it in next time.

Argh, and those quizzes are horrible! 2 outta 16! Seriously! I got a big fat 0 last time for parabolas, but I guess that was because I hated parabolas and got zilch out of it. XD No my mum's talking about getting me a private tutor... who will help me understand my... tutoring homework, and also my schoolwork, I guess. Weird, isn't it? Tutoring for my tutoring? That'd be 3 loads of work! No way!! arg.gif

But yep, major highlight of the day: tutoring. Grr, I knew I should have done tutoring when I was younger. I'm fine at school, but it's just that when exam time rolls around the tests are harder than our usual work and I get 60% for most of them, which isn't exactly impressive. What happened to easy work in Year 7 and 8? I DEMAND JUSTICE!! rawr.gif

Oh, but hey - I had marshmallows at the athletics carnival! 8DDD

And it's open day tomorrow, so I get to skip out on science. I just love looking for silver linings, don't I? =D

Now, off for a nice shower and then some fanfiction writing! My stuff are all over the place - I've started the next chapters for all my multichapter stories but am nowhere near finishing any of them! XD;

Hehe. Very, very, very, awesomely, insanely cool. wow.png

I'll read more, actually. By the way, your idea of making my own C2 is brilliant. I'm really considering it right now. I just need a name of some sorts. a_thumbs.gif

I'll email you soon! biggrin.gif

Also, right you live in Australia? (Please correct me if I'm wrong. If I am, I'm really, truly sorry!)

I have (second) cousins living in there. She said that she a lot of friends, so maybe, you know her?

I forgot her name. (Oops. Haha! laugh.gif I didn't know her that much anyway, but she went back here in the Philippines last December for her birthday! I'm not a really good family member. biggrin.gif) I'll ask my mom when she comes back. All I remember about her is that she has this awesome Australian accent for living there for so long.

Take care! ^^

Having your own C2 is really handy. You don't have to worry about the name toooooo much. If you're not happy with it, you can change it at any time as long as another C2 isn't using it. I've changed mine a couple of times. wow.png

Yep, I live in Australia. It's real cold down here. D: I don't think I'll know your cousin - Australia is a real large place. But hey, coincidences do happen! :thumbs:

I know... 2/16, dammit. I'm so glad it's not actual school. We only have ten minutes to answer everything, so most of the time I'm just staring at the paper wondering how in the world I'm going to do this. I don't think properly during tests. When the teacher goes through the questions I stare and kick myself for not figuring it out myself sweatdrop.gif

I'm already on a crazy ride! Year 10 sucks. The workload simply exploded and I've got tests, assignments and whatnots coming at me from all directions! Not to mention I have SC at the end of the year.... argh, nightmare! x.x

Yep. Sounds like typical school life. School bites harder than anything else, when you want to get the grade you want that is, wink.gif . Btw, what's SC? Is it standardized testing?

Grr, yep, I actually have to study this year. I usually just wing it and pray the night before, but now I actually have to get my fat ass into work. And tests are getting harder too! arg.gif

Ah, SC. SC is short for School Certificate. Students in New South Wales (my state) take it at the end of Year 10. I... actually don't know what it does. It's a qualification, I guess. You have to take your SC if you want to take the HSC, which is the Higher School Certificate that you take at the end of Year 12. Now HSC is the real thing. That affects your UAI, which is essentially the mark you use to get into university. Bad mark, no uni. Or something like that. I'm clueless when it comes to stuff like that. My friends are more uptight about it. Me, I'll deal with it when it comes. XD

Sounds kinda like the PSAT and the SAT. I don't know if you have it or ever heard of it. The PSAT is a practice SAT (I forgot what it stands for) and students have to take that between year 10-12. That score affects your little application for University too XD

I want a break right now!! D: We have about two weeks break every ten weeks, except for the summer holidays, which is an awesome six weeks. I'm only in week 5 of term 2 - jammed in the middle of nowhere. And damn, I have a science logbook due on Tuesday and I haven't started! Off to making my paper planes! and departing for the land of procrastination
