Garphics are good. Enjoy the Co-op online and offline campaign modes. Love the online versus mode, being a zombie rocks. Wish their were more weapons for the game.

I'm not a big fan of games targeted at casual gamers, however I'm surprised at how much fun I've had with Wii Sports, it does a good job of introducing the motion sensing controls and opens your eyes to to its potential. Ive been playing a ton of Baseball and Tennis, and as you continue to improve, the AI will adjust itself to offer you a more competitive challenge. Well done Nintendo, Well Done.
Bleach: Shattered Blade-Wii 6.5/10
Its a good thing I got it for $12, cause there's no way in hell I would've paid $50 for this. While the character models do look liken their Anime counterparts, the visuals could've been crisper and more detailed. Gameplay is too easy, simplistic, and lacks depth. There's a decent amount of stuff to unlock such as Characters, Costumes, and Sound Clips that add some extra playtime though it can get boring due to the repetitive gameplay. Roster Size is good with 32 characters to choose from. If you're a Bleach fan with a need to play a Bleach game, I guess this could've been worse. However, if you're purely a fighting game fan with no interest in Bleach, don't bother.
P.S. Could we please have this topic pinned? The Rate the Last Movie you saw thread is so we might as well pin this one. Thanks

Not what I was expecting. I'm a sucker for turn-based Strategy games, and you collect cards to aid in your fight? Sold!
Then I realized that you don't find cards, they're given to you after a fight, and it takes about 7-8 battles until you can actually use the card for its actual ability (instead of just using its movement number). And the battles... find favorable matchup, fight, hold left or right on the D-pad as needed. That's it. The equipment you find along the way can't even be used immediately since each character equips only one piece and keeps it on until it breaks.
Graphics are nothing special, and the story is presented in such a bland manner that it's hard for me to care. I think this one's a return/resale to GameStop, maybe to use as a deposit for SRT OG Saga: Endless Frontier.

(For the younger readers, a "record store" was a building that you had to go to when you wanted to buy music.)
(For the younger readers, "buying music" was the way we acquired it, since we couldn't just… you know what, let's just get back to the Bowen song. Stupid kids, you ruin everything.)

Be the Ultimate Ninja! Or Reaper! Or Zombie Killer... or something. Play Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN!

Very nice. It's like another Harvest Moon only with an actual plot. XD Plus 12 or 13 girls you get to choose to marry.

Visually the character models look great, the controls are accessible, there's some depth to the combat and KO's are so damn satisfying, really fun to play with a friend and spend hours knocking the hell outta eachother. However the Online has some annoying lag, you can't use your favorite fighters in career mode, which by the way, you don't have enough options to get creative with, and you'll end up fighting the same 4 fighters over and over again. Title matches in Exhibition would have been nice, like the one they have in the SDVR series. Overall it does a good job of nailing solid gameplay, and is a good first entry, we'll see how THQ continues to add to it in the coming years.

(You can have title bouts just change the amount of Rounds to 5.)
UFC Undisputed 2009(XBox 360): 9/10
Illmatic covered most of what I was going to say so I'll just say this game is awesome.
Though I Do Have Some Gripes:
-The flashy intros of MMA fighters especially when they are fighting at a PPV are missing as are well known MMA Fighters Randy Couture, Tank Abbott, Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock.
-Career Mode should've been like The Ultimate Fighter.
-Online mode can be super laggy.
-And the combat at times feels robotic.
But otherwise this game rocks.

yea but it doesnt keep track of whose champion, whoever is in the red corner is the champ. and I agree with the presentation issue, though since it's their first try at it, i'll give it a pass, but no excuses next time.
btw I heard Couture signed a deal with EA Sports to do an MMA Game with them. and Kimbo just recently got involved with the UFC, I wish they could do a roster update with him but he's gotta earn his spot first.

Last night, because I was bored of playing the same games over and over again, I figured I'd go through my pile of 'rejects' that I've never gotten around to trading in and see if there was something playable in them, rather than going out to get something new. So far, the graphics still feel crude (at least compared to those other games I mentions), and the storyline does feel slow-moving initially... and there are a few other buggy things I've found with it... but it seems a lot more playable now that I'm not making a direct comparison with those two. Maybe I'll be able to get into it this go around, and will play it through....

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

The game itself is perfect. MGO is seperate. But MGO has a lot of laggers and cheaters. So i play very little, if any online.
inFamous: 10/10
Excellent game and it is the best superhero title out. It actually plays like a 3rd person shooter, but the melee attacks, and upgraded powers add more. The city is large, and it sucks to hve to go find all the blast shards.

I haven't had this much fun with a video game in quite a bit. If you can, I recommend playing this game on 480p, the colors are vibrant and this is one of the better looking games on the Wii. The game is kinda easy, but that's not a bad thing, it allowed me to enjoy it's gameplay and fantastic level design(some of the best I've ever seen). It's the best game I've played on the Wii so far, and it's gonna take one hell of an effort to change my opinion. I can't wait for Galaxy 2.

I loved this game! The graphics are great, the gameplay makes you really feel like you're a Ghostbuster (though Character Creation would've added more), hearing the old music is great and hearing the voices of Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Akroyd and Ernie Hudson as the Ghostbusters once again is awesome (though Murray seemed like he was dialing it in)! The only gripes I have is this game could've used more multiplayer modes including a co-op campaign mode and the aforementioned lack of being able to create your character. But that aside thank you so much Terminal Reality for creating a great Ghostbusters game! Who ya gonna call?!

The graphics in this game are nice, you can't expect more from an open world game. The Powers are sick, and can become quite devastating, I mean, who doesn't like raining a lightning storm on your foes? Throughout the game you'll have to make some decisions, and the situations will become more dire as it goes. You'll have the choice to fend for yourself, or commit to the greater good. I love the cut comic book style cutscenes, I wish there couldve been more. The story is well paced, with some twists, which includes a suprisine ending.
My problems with the game are that some of the side missions are the same as others, a little variety would've been nice. And there are a few glitches, fortunately none of them ruin the experience. The main characters voice is a bit gravelly, which can't be helped I guess. Also, I heard Hinata's dub voice in the game, ughhhhh.
Overall, inFamous is the complete package, You feel a connection with the citizens who will react to you in different ways depending on what choices you make. The story is decent, gameplay is very fun, and you'll be compelled to finish it twice to see how things pan out on each side. inFamous deserves the high praise it's been getting. And I share the sentiment various websites, its the best Superhero game ever made.

Disgraceful dialog. Clichéd J-RPG dramatic , OH NOES plot-twists , followed with really shallow character progression and overall seen it , done that.
Eternal Sonata , or Trusty Bell ( Chopin's no yume ) is about Chopin's last dream before he dies of tuberculous. Unfortunately he gets zapped into anime style world where bunnies and deers hop and dance together as everyone burps and farts out rainbows of joy.
The main character is Polka. A 14 year old girl who's got a decease. That decease allows her to cast magic. Along the way, you'll meet several characters and then the plot turns into another japanese attempt to steal the cake with a George Lucas reference. Strong empire versus rather weak rebel army with the aid of neutral country that little does of a input in the story. The loop holes in this game are HUGE. Quickly the characters in a blink of an eye are in a spot , the next they're in Shangri-la drinking tea with lady-monks.
The cutscenes are boring , even though the stellar voice acting does help going though those horrid dialogs and overall cardboard cuttings that compose a regular J-RPG script. You do have the option to change between the English VA's and the Japanese ones. But the japanese VA's are dread awful as even though there's more then 30 characters in this game , all of them either sound like 8-year old girls or 59-year old chronic smokers. There's no middle ground in the J-VA world?
The really good parts in this game are the battle scheme. It's real time and it's rather easy to use. But unlike the FF games and so on, the game limits you in using only 4 skills ( By holding the Y button you can toggle the 'other skill' ) pretty much leaving you with few options. Also a innovative mark in this game is if you walk into the shadows and utilize the Y button ; the skills ; change. Pretty much you have 2 skills each if you walk in darker places and into light filled places. Either way, little it does to change the fact that you're limited.
The keyword in this game is LIMITED. You're limited to the same main quest because the side-quests really aren't fulfilling and are too long. The weapon design is LIMITED. There's only one weapon even though you take hours to get the ultimate sword. And apparently it looks the same as the first one you had in the game.
Where they made a breakthrough in innovation they forgot the basics. Even though influenced by music , Eternal Sonata should be called Eternal Sonata , Chopin's fight against the Empire and against the clones.
I won't say much , because if I say anything else the whole game gets spoiled. Oh yes. It takes them 30 hours to discover what's truly behind. Why is the empire ruled by morons? Why is the rebel forces ...well..rebelling? Why does everyone have a music related name?
You like Anime? You like Chopin? You like music? You like J-RPGs? You like controlling little girls, weird awkward little boys and Chopin itself?
You got yourself a game here.
