OMG THAT'S THE BEST FINALE I'VE EVER SEEN! Did anyone of you see Ozai getting his ass kick when Aang turn avatar state. I'm like oh kittene dude you're f*ckin' screw!!! Also how Sokka, Suki, & Toph brought down the house air style was genius and awesome! :thumbs: I can't believe that spent half of the 3rd episode having Azula going nuts completely awkward from whatelse is going on, however is necessary and that give Zuko & Katara the advantage. Btw I couldn't believe she attack Zuko like he's my favorite character (second is Toph, third Suki) then Katara totally OWNED her. However I prefer if is Zuko who finished her due to the history & development that's been made.

Canon couples are Kataang, Maiko, Sukka.

As I said on a nother forum. I am so offically blown away by the series finale that I dont think ill land untill I hit pluto.

This ahs been the most awesome movie Ive seen. the excitement, suspence, and action have left hy heart still beating fast. The creators took the Bending battles to the next level in this one, the raw power on display and the skill were insane.

But even better in the midst of all the power, was the raw emotion, and character that has been the hallmark of this series from the very beginning. The voice cast and this series finale should be nominated for multiple Emmies if at all possible.


The creators have delivered a series finale beyond any and all expectations, and I hope feverently for a fouth season to cover anything that was left behind.

Oh and Kataang FTW!!! that last kiss was perfect.

Oh and Moment of irony for the day

during the episode "The Beach" one of Ty Lees complaints was that she was part of a set of 7 or so twins. all looking alike all interchangable.

So does anyone else find it ironic that she joined a group of warriors whose uniforms and face paint promote a sense of uniformity?

This ending was perfect! Perfect in every way! It exceeded any and all of my expectations, and there is quite honestly nothing that I can possibly think of, that would have made it any more epic than it already was! I WANNA WATCH IT AGAIN RIGHT NOW!

Book 3 Fire from the beginning to the end every episode jsut as in the first 2 books added to the story, and mor eimportantly closed it out in style. Even the only so called filler episode left me thinking about the series.

Katara. From Day 1 she has changed and grown stronger. But her true shining moment came in the southern raiders. Mae Witmans Powerful and emotional voice acting brought her to life in an incredible way.

Most awesome Katara moments:

first meeting with Aang and pengy sledding with him.

dueling Master Pakun in the north

Moment with Aang in the cave of two lovers

Katara wave riding to save Aang afetr Azula shot him

Saving Aangs life at the end.

Katara breaking down afetr blood bending to defeat the other water bender

Souther raiders Katara chooses life over revenge

Katara in the end beating Azula with a simple but powerful move.

any element Water. Ive allways felt closer to the ocean and the moon then the sun. Water is the element I most identify with.

It couldnt have been done any different in my opinion, save maybe one thing. having A small resolution for Azula of some sort. Some type of last moment where she goes crazy and does because of it.

Or even better. Zuko visits the prison where a lunatic Azula is being held, and instead of berating her. he hugs her in forgiveness hoping to ease her pain and suffering.

You trully have to wonder at what wires got crossed in that girls head for her to become the monster that she became. Her slow descent into paranoia, and maddness as the last 4 episodes happened was brillaintly portrayed and the final breakdown she had was jsut shocking too see from a character weve come to think of as nigh Invincable.

Well, that's ty lee... It's the same way Sokka said it was unclear if Jet died in Friday's episode.

But yeah, this finale was the sheer definition of epic. You have 4 different fights going on at the same time, and it brought a lot of closure to all the characters... For a show directed towards preteens and kids, this was pretty good, nothing I would have expected coming from the same network that prides itself showing a sponge in a pinapple.

Part 1 and 2 showed a lot of depth to Aang's struggle, does he kill Ozai or will his pacifism get the better of him. And I love how Toph glops Zuko when she says she wants her life changing field trip with him. Zuko finally finds Iroh and became a very emotional moment for Zuko.

In the end the one thing that I never expected happened, everyone lived, even Iroh, but I think the series ended better that way. Although I did want everyone to stand outside in the sunset, even Mai. And then Toph saying something like "the sunset looks nice"

Did I mention how much I love Toph!

My favorite book would have to be the last. That was just EPIC.
My favorite characters are a tie between:

Jeong-Jeong, Booomy!(<3), Uncle Iroh, The Sword Guy, Pakku, Toph, Sokka, and Aang. Everyone else is alright

Fire, baby. I can even do the moves right!

Smex between Aang and Katara, plz. Zuko and Mai along with Sokka and Suki would be A-Okay as well <33

I can't say the same since I'm not a Kataang fan. When I saw Zuko and Kataara fighting Azula I thought they might leave the whole thing somewhat ambiguous (I never thought Zutara would actually occur), but, overall, the finale was so damn good in so many respects that Aang could have kissed Zuko and I probably wouldn't have cared. I didn't even care that Zuko/Mai became canon and don't like Zuko/Mai.

On watching a second go around I jsut noted one of the trully epic moments in the series.

When Aang is meditaitng and seeking the wisdom of the prior avatars he is convinced after lsitening too them that he must kill the fire lord.

Yet the truth is that he doesnt have to. Not once do any of the 4 he speaks too advise him to directly kill him. The all advise him that sacrifice must be made, and that he must take a more direct role in affairs.

But not one of them says you must kill him directly. He simply assumes that thats what they are all saying. He doesnt listen to the wisdom they impart . He only hears the words.

An interesting andprop deserving part of the story from the creative team.

That was awesome. Some of the best the series had to off, and a truly epic finale. I am satisfied.

The only thing that got me about the whole Zuko's mother bit was if they weren't planning to resolve it then they shouldn't have brought it up at all. As it is it feels like the start of a whole new plot thread that will never be resolved.

The Agni Kai was amazing, and trumps all other duels before it (it was even as good as the final showdown between Ozai and Aang). Azula's breakdown was amazing. One of the best scenes the show has ever had, and they've had some good ones. Flawlessly executed in my opinion. Her whole descent into madness was great, and I was having fun watching it, but that moment at the end when she knows she's beaten and just falls apart was beautiful.

I have to say book three was my favorite. So many cool things happened, and the majority of my favorite episodes are from that one.

Toph is the best, hands down.

I could have fun with any element, honestly.

I can't think of anything that would have made the ending better except making the Zuko's mother bit a little smoother. Either resolve it or leave it out. At the very least show him making some plans based on the information gleaned from his father.

I totally love the finale its sad that its over now.

Plus I can't figure any reason creators may even want to continue the series with a follow book 4: air. It will mostly be about restoring the world (Zuko may have some difficulty there), the couples, Aang reviving the air nomads, relationship between Ursa & the royal family, redemption for the fire nation, Ozai, & Azula, The Gaang learns Zuko is connected to avatar Roku. Unless there's some new enemy that's greater than the phoenix king its pointless.

I'm gonna miss all of the Gaang. Although Nick did say there'll be a spinoff most likely it may be new avatar series and the characters from the original avatar will play a small minor role if they appear at all. I'm assuming that Katara, Toph, & Aang will make appearance if that's the case. Mostly Aang since he's the avatar and he seek guidience from the previous avatar Roku alot so aspect the new avatar will do the same. Also the new one will be a waterbender which is why I suppose Katara or at least her descendant will be involve as will Zuko or his descendant.

I agree very much. And if you want too see how trully amazing that aspect of the story was. wacth the beginning of the duel to the end of the breakdown. When you watch it look at Azulas eyes closely. If you compare them to even the boiling rock episode when she says shes a people person youlls ee the difference.

The madness eating away at her is so clearly visible in her eyes that its frightening. and at the end when she finally breaks down you almsot feel a greta swell of pity for her. you cant help it relaly its hard to see someone so broken and not feel compassion.

I might have done a final moment where Zuko walks over and hugs Azula, telling her that it well all be ok. that eh'll be there for her as her older brother.

Oh my gosh that was the best finale! It was everything and beyond what I expected. I was totally blown out of my seat throughout the whole show and all four element bending were absolutely beautiful. What especially touched me was the fight between Azula and Zuko. The combination of colours from both her own blue fire and his red/orange/yellow was breath taking. Again, beautiful! All the emotions.. the lightening bending, Azula finally losing it.. Katara healing and capturing Azula! It was wicked!

Even though I'm a pretty strong supporter of Zutara, I couldn't of had the ending any other way! I'm so glad Aang didn't lose himself and him and Zuko remained friends. I was so nervous near the end of the finale when Zuko he went to confront his father, I was afraid that he was actually going to turn out evil or something of that nature! But thank goodness he didn't. I still can't believe how blown away I was by this whole finale and I am very glad I stayed true to watching the show and it was definitely worth it.

I loved it, but the most striking for me was Azula, it made me sick to my stomach watching her cry. Bryke did an incredible job.

Finally saw the Finale. Very excellent btw. Even though they didn't wrap exactly everything up in a neat little package, I'm satisfied with everything that happened. Especially the Kataang, finally a clear account of that, although come on Zutara people you knew it was coming.

I honestly hope this is the ending for the series, because anything else they might do might mar the greatness of the finale. Besides I've seen what happens when a show goes beyond its expected lifespan (DB), it doesn't turn pretty.

Now I just need to get the series on DVD then i'll be content. ^^
