This is not a good idea. Especially since the ending is still "fresh". 

 

Does his editors really not tell him what's going on with his fanbase? I guess they really are the ones who told him that Naruhina and Sasusaku were more likable. All it takes is that one person who'll have the guts to ask him questions that can't be avoided, like: 

 

"Why is it that Hinata's role in the story regressed to a love interest instead of her becoming the ruler of her clan" or "Why is it that Sakura didn't pursue a career in the medical field and instead married a guy who abused her several times" 

 

And if someone dares to say what we can only think, then Kishimoto could very well fall even more than he already has. If I were him I would stay far away from any conventions for a long time. Like, this is such a bad idea who would let him do this.

His latest editor it's a small fry. Newb and green as grass. In short, he does not have what it takes to be the editor of a manga calibre such as nardo. Also he does seem to be almost blind to what is going on within his fanbase.

 

I am stil upset that no one asked about Suigetsu, to this day I live in the dark when it comes to wether he became the master swordsman of the mist and stuff.

Well did all us NS fans went to see the movie? It's the same with his remaining fandom. It's not garantee that all will return, which Kishi is hoping for.

 

The thing is that most of them care only about Naruto for it insert pairing, and with Kishi constantly going on about he so bad at romance it wouldn't surprise me if he convinces himself that he is bad at romance and decides not to include it in the sci-fi manga at first. Which will cause most of the otakus to leave since what they really want is Hinata 2.0. So they can fantasize about having sex with her.
 
Also I think the bolt movie was an attempt to win back their main market in Japan. So they already kind of abandon the west the bolt movie is just coming out to double check.

 

On top of that, his manga is a monthly release, so the pacing will slow down.

Although they manage to win back mostly the SNS fans. The smart loyal fans have moved on.

He's telling the truth. Remember guys because he made the choice to end the way it end does not mean he supports it not like it at all. His interviews confirmed this. Basically he washed his hands off from this story and stop caring. sP and SJ drew the line for him, that if he wants to bail out. nH and SS must become canon.

We used to have a few people from Japan on this site they all thought that this pairing was awful. Several people still have friends in Japan same thing?

 

At present time , yes , especially among the younger generation  . But Kishi's old and his mentality is stuck in the past , which is fairly obvious from the way his female characters are depicted . 

 

And maybe they are exceptions to the rule ? I mean , in Japan  , SS was still the most popular of the big 3 , wasn't it ?

From the looks of it from the gaiden. He remains Orochimaru's servant/assistant/muscle for the rest of his days.

Kishi once said the kushina was based off his wife(who most people point out is very similar to Sakura. Even in the Story it's pointed out the similarities by Minato. Hell oda once said kishi's wife reminded him of Sakura). Also seeing how most of the girls in the manga have more in common with Sakura in terms of personality than hinata(when they are actually doing anything). That seems to be his type of woman.

Kishi also said that he received letters from fans abroad and this is when he started noticing the popularity of his own series... In other words, they were aware of the series' popularity in the west and they even mentioned that the manga was a best seller in America. I am pretty sure he received death threats and they took popularity polls in the west and seeing Sakura constantly ranking low must have been depressing for him.

I guess Oro is intentionally kept alive if they want to use him as a future villain for the next generation. He totally should have died. A friend of mine who is not a fan of Naruto and non shipper up and said

 

 

Kishi gave into the NH but I don't he was happy doing it. I mean she is still a freaking Chunnin and Kishi doesn't actually draw Naruto and Hinata being together happily in family as part of your last impressions of the series. She is still mourning and spends her last moments with her dead cousin and in a way they did end up together from a writing perspective (cause Kishi very likely intended to make them end together). Naruto lets his own son going through the same kitten when he was kid. Sasuke is never here and Sakura is a housewife with a non present husband. Kishi trolling that Sarada is Karin's daughter and its funny that in Gaiden she continues on living thinking that the Uzumaki is her real mother.

Also remember in volume 72 he have to redraw a couple pages in the last two chapter. But instead of adding scenes where hinata interacts with Naruto. It instead has a couple panels of her sitting up and looking around confused. Also removing akamaru being an old dog and instead making him Clifford size.

I'll admit I was interested in this but we should pay no attention to his answers anyways. The series has ended, therefore Kishi has to stand by what has been done. If he doesn't and proves to be a "hard" author to work with than he might have a hard time with his new manga. In fact my guess is he made a deal with the editors to end Naruto a certain way if they would give his new manga a shot.

 

We all know that Kishi contradicts himself, forgets certain details, and takes marching orders every once and a while. Trust the manga, that's the only piece of un-touched evidence that speaks to the truth. Everything else is biased and tampered with evidence.

To be honest I stop caring about the reasons for why he did it , the only thing that matters is he did it and his actions/excuses after that which are contradictory as fuark . That's why I don't think anything he says anymore seriously its just a horrendous manipulative BS in order to save his skin  and the ones who prize him for that said BS without even think about what he's saying I consider them to be in a deep state of delusion that's all .

She already knew though? Remember, he laughs at her and tells her the forehead comment is something Naruto would say, and she gets depressed about it? After everything that's happened, I honestly don't think romance was really all that important to him or thought out. It was all about Naruto getting Sasuke back into the village, and everything else was filler, sadly.

Nah she was sad exactly bc of that bc he just retired that compliment that was supposed to be from "Sasuke" . Shereally didn't knew it was Naruto , she still thought that was the real Sasuke she even expressed the sudden change in behavior when the real one came  that would suggest she was completely unaware of it . That's why not addressing/clearing up this scene which is the start of Romance subplot  is huge contradictory wtf moment for the parings .

 

As for the romance well it was said the Yahigi was the one who suggested the romance subplot (along with the rest of the story sigh) so that should tell you how incompetent he is despite saying it himself .
