Mulan and TLM are my favourite Disney movies. Now that there's so many live actions coming out, I hope those will be one of them!

Oh, man, I hope to death that Mulan will get a live-action movie. And Disney better stick to the original material this time. I don't mind if they put a certain twist to it, but not to Mulan.

Same goes for The Beauty and The Beast which will be coming out in 2016 or 2017 with Emma Watson playing Belle.

I've been waiting for this!

 

 

Some of my favorites are Whisper of the Heart, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, The Wind Rises, Spirited Away, and another favorite Miyazaki film (not Studio Ghibli) is Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. It's really old, lol. There's still a few I haven't seen, like Grave of the Fireflies and Only Yesterday.

 

I tried watching The Tale of Princess , but about halfway through the video got all messed up and I couldn't finish it.

It's been years since I've seen Nausicaa. I barely remember anything from it. Need to rewatch it again.

Only Yesterday has a very different animation style when it comes to the facial expressions.

Grave of the Fireflies... Haven't seen it yet, but I know it'll be one of the saddest movies I will ever watch.

the ship was a homosexual one so it and to be handled with subtlety, I understand why you think the main ending ship was not htat developed but this ended falling in the nature of the limitations of how a same sex relationship could be portrayed in a media like that.

 

And I don't agree with you about Korra's character, you can easily see she changed from the brash young girl who first arrived in republic city, now not only she is more in touch with her spiritual side but she was calm enough to reach out to kuvira in season 4 when korra from season 1 would have none of that

An open ending would probably make the fandom calm down over a time, though in the end, the ending was destined to have a sh*tty aspect to it because everything was too rushed I mean c'mon, 5 chaptersto end the story when the NarxSas battle isnt even over yet? smh Kishimoto

Well see I didn't watch Part 4 because I got so fed up with Part 3. Korra was still abrasive to me. I don't know, I just felt that she had way too many mood swings and focused more on her angst than anything else. That's how I viewed her. I didn't like her in Season 1, and I still didn't like her in Season 3. And I absolutely hated the entire premise of the "Red Lotus". What even happened to them? Cause I know there was more than just the ones in Season 3, right? The alluded to that.  

 

But as for the pairings, they were terrible regardless. But I do see your point in being subtle. But it still should have gotten more screen time at least. If Bryke said that he's been a shipper since season 2 then he should have added more in, well, Season 2. I remember him saying that there wasn't going to be any romance either in Season 3. Well he should have made Season 3 more about Korra and Asami's dynamic then. That would have been way more enjoyable than the Red Lotus.  

 

And I disliked Asami and Mako as well. I felt like Asami was only there because of her dad problems and to be pairing fodder. And Mako's character was just all around horrible. Especially in Season 3. He just came off as such a jerk to me.

really interesting cuz most fans consider change the best of her arcs i never really hated mako i can see why fans would but atleast he's no sasuke again  never really had a problem with him now for asami i overall liked her character especially in change she had great moments in that arc truly a badass however the korrasami thing to me felt like a plot device thats all im gonna say about that anyway to me korra is just as good as atla im even friends with the voice of her

Yeah everyone has their own opinion about LoK and I respect that. But I just couldn't bring myself to like it is all.

I was never interested in LoK. I just really liked that it was a lesbian couple, that got canon. So it could show little kids that lesbian, gay is ok in this world. This said I don't really know what happened in the series, which couple that had most development and how the characters are build.

2. LoK didn't even premiere on Nickelodeon's cable channel anymore.  

 

So only kids that took the time out to watch LoK online know about Lok's ending- and considering kids are small, there weren't many of them. LoK mostly targeted it's older fanbase while still adhering to Nickelodeon's standards.  

 

But my wish is to see more same sex couples in mainstream entertainment anyway, so this was a good start.
