Finished the manga last night, overall I teared up about three times

 

I doubt the animation can be as tense as the manga depicts the events (I'm reffering to the second season) but then again, I might be mistaken

This is a great series! I really love it. Too bad it's monthly though :( The anime is pretty good. Omits certain arcs, bit I was satisfied. Season 2 comes out this fall and will cover the Bishamonten arc!

It took me forever since I was kinda lazy at first, but watching The English Dub made me wanna catch up from the series from where I left off. I got to say that my favorite arc as of right now has to be the underworld arc because it's there we finally figure out the history between Yato and "Nora" . At the moment the current arc is certainly grabbing my attention like when I got to the latest chapter I was like ugh.. I want to know what's gonna happen next.  Man waiting for the next chapter is gonna be hard since it's a monthly series like Attack on Titan.

Indeed the manga is amazing but the anime is beautiful as well.. i hope season 2 will have great tracks as well.. that ost they have when you know something epic will happen always pumps me up

The dub's not that bad actually, the only one that kinda bugged me at first was Yukine's voice.  

 

I'd give the English Dub an Okay+ to Good rating.

Ah, so I finally manged to finish season 1 yesterday. 
Love the anime! Studio bones did such a great job with the animation. Can't wait to season 2 . Also I hope season 2 will cover some things/history about Bishamonten and Yato, cause I really wanna know more about it.
I might read the manga after season 2:D

Oh, is the Underworld arc gonna be animated in the second season too?

I really hoped that the second season would be 25 episodes, but it's 12 T_T

I doubt it, considering it only has 12. It's not a waste, though. The manga is better in every aspect in my opinion.

And geez guys.. Nora again good thing she didnt dominate the whole chapter.

Anyone here who thought about how this series will end? Or the direction its trying to go to? It just struck me while reading the latest chapter...what will happen to Hiyori and her circumstance? And yato and yukine.. are we suppose to prepare for some traumatic emotional bomb end here?

It depends on how the author wants to end it. We've had some bad arcs so far, especially the underworld one so I suppose we could expect something angsty before the supposed happy ending.
