Oh no I agree with you 100% about shounen manga they really do look have detailed compared to TG. lol at the girls looking pretty because of their body, Hiro Mashima I'm looking at you with Fairy Tail.

Naah I doubt that blonde haired guy is him he just looks so irrelevant like the rest of the background people.

I believe the spoilers did mention something up like that. When it comes to The Nutcracker case. Honestly if we do see something like that happening between the CCG and the ghouls I'd be like damn kitten just got real, no joke. By the way, Ria told me that she read up to chapter 71 in less then 3 1/2 days, which I'm a little surprised considering how much time she spent less than a month reading all 700 chapters of Naruto. Her eyes are kinda glued to her computer screen at the moment so right she's at like chapter 117 as we're discussing about anime and manga just in general. I mean if she's reading at the speed she is now there's a chance that she may finish it up Tokyo Ghoul by tomorrow night or saturday morning, and then read Tokyo Ghoul re from there. She does ship TouKen hardcore too by the way, and when it came to that moment in chapter 71 Ria told me that she had tears of joy running down her face when she first saw read it.


Yeah there is also Ymir too when it comes to Historia and her character. If that is the thing that helps snaps her back to reality then alright, either that or Eren tries to tell her something which I feel really bad for him that boy's been changed up for like two volumes now some needs to free him. Levi, Mikasa, Hanji, Zeus The god of lightning, someone hurry up and save him lol.

I believe Ymir was simply attracted to Historia, but in the anime they make it look like she's in love with her. I could be wrong about that, but that's the impression I'm getting.

It took me about a week to catch up with TG;I easily get distracted with other things Guess if she likes TG, she might actually get into AoT and join the hype. Is it just me or does Eren constantly have to be rescued? It's not his fault of course but sometimes it sucks that we get to see Mikasa, Levi& co more in action than Eren. I would love to see him fighting more often in his 3d maneuver gear and not just Titan form.

How do you think the problem b/w ghouls and human will be solved? Do you believe that ghouls and humans will ever get along with each other. I personally believe no b/c humanity will always hold grudges against the species that feeds of their kin.

Hmm. Nothing we hadn't seen in those spoilers. Although, I was surprised that the "we're gonna change to women" thigh was at the end of the chapter, I thought the focus of the chapter was gonna be that. I didn't see the order of the scans originally, so I guess that why.

To answer your question, I'm not sure how the two sides would come together. The extremes would have to be dealt with on both sides. The only foreseeable solution is Anteiku's route, but I'm not sure that's possible.

Yeah, Anteiku is the most most effective solution for both sides in this case. We sometimes forget it, but ghouls exist everywhere in the world. The relationship b/w the entire humanity and that of ghouls cannot be changed simply b/c of the actions of a few individuals in Tokyo. Unlike AoT, it is obvious that the possibility of a happy outcome is zero.

Glad you liked it All of us in here love TG and :re, and are hardcore Touken shippers (to think that was even possible after Naruto, lol). Don't worry, the same here when it comes to the names.

Lol, you're right about that. I saw some omakes of Akira and her father, and her facial expressions were pretty much that of a person incapable of feeling anything (lol at the fact that she forced her father to bring her to the store to buy underwear one time). But they were very close though. Too bad we never got to see that father side from Akira's father.

Yeah, the Touken fandom is pretty small right now. We've gotta wait I guess until we get to see more moments b/w them in :re. Looking foward to some Touken gifs with the upcoming season.

I'm pretty curious about that myself actually, she told me she'd text me sometime this weekend when it comes to Tokyo Ghoul. Odds are she'll probably want me to hug her when she watches that scene get animated. My attention will go to SP and if they dare kitten it up, Japan I'm coming to murk all the people that animate the moment lol. I'm really glad that she's willing to get into anime and manga a try after what happened with Naruto obviously, but she said Tokyo Ghoul kinda overthrows Naruto for her and I've actually gotta agree with her too. 

Good question, I'll have to reread volume 13 and 14 to remember how much time has passed since they encountered Reiner and Bertholt. My best friend believes that Eren, Reiner, Bertholt, Annie and Ymir will have to work together in order to take down the Beast Titan, and I'm sitting here going like "Dude if that happens kitten's gonna get real in the story." I'm not sure if that's what's gonna happen, but now that I remember Reiner did need Eren for something in the previous arc. So I can't say it's an unlikely theory because it's got the possibility, but if there's anything AOT has taught is it's patience. I mean Historia's fate as a character still hangs in the balance, we can safely save it's her ultimate judgment. This will decide if she really did this of her own free will or if she was forced/brainwashed into doing all of this.

Lol, what if this is some sort of Divergent scenario with the people in the walls being "test subjects" to some sort of experiment or so? Maybe there are other places like the one Eren resides in. It's easy to forget about Annie, not gonna blame you for that. I'm so interested in finding out what this crystal actually is that is surrounding her.

Btw, I just read up to Ch.16 of Noragami. Oh damn, poor Kazuma :(

There was another third one, but I can't remember what it was. I've got to agree the experience she's going through is an intense one, but at least she's still willing to say no "I'm not giving up Anime and Manga just because I was cheated out of an ending from a good manga." Which is how I recommended her Tokyo Ghoul to her and how she got into the series. She did tell me her two favorite characters are Touka and Kaneki which I'm actually not surprised about at all tbh, I kinda saw it coming cause it is kinda hard to dislike Touka, and Kaneki (kinda before his hair turned white).

When did you start becoming aware of TG. And with what kind of expectations did you get into the manga?

I got into TG thx to Forneverworld. Yeah, I'm sorry, but the way he was hyped when he reviewed the first video caught my interest. So I gave it a try, really liked it, but was not too mindblown. Then college came, and I gave up watching the anime. Sometime around the end of November/ the beginning of December I start to hear about Ch.7. My tumblr dashboard literally exploded with the news that Kaneki was still alive. That's when I decided to give the manga a try one day. But two chapters later, I see this beauty named Touka, and I asked myself: Wtf happened?! And yeah, that's how I finally started the manga- thank god I did.

Your cousin picks out the good mangas :) Both Death Note and FMA generally get good reception. Still have to pick those two series up.

Lol, you saw the fan poll. Kaneki and Touka really are the most two famous characters (despite Touka's disappearance in post-Aogiri -.-). With Touka, readers slowly start to fall in love with. As with Kaneki, we just feel bad for him. It's no wonder therefore how effective his trannsformation to Shironeki was. Which version of Kaneki do you like the most? Now, I know I belong in the minority, but right now I think I really like Kaneki's current version of himself aka Sasaki. He still has the same gentle tendencies, but has built up his confidence and social skills (lol at his puns). On the other hand, he can be decisive and serious when it is required from him. The only thing I'm annoyed with sometimes is his too merciful side.

I've never noticed this before until now that Touka only has a single wing when she activates her Kagune (ok, and maybe a smaller one on the other side).

Her brother on the other hand has two, which most likely indicates that he is stronger than her.

I'm pretty sure that Touka will have two wings in :re ^^

Kagune can be regenerated many times as long as Kakuhou is intact and there are enough Rc Cells to summon it, so there’s no reason for Touka to completely lose her Kagune. Plus honestly, I can’t see Ayato deal a permanent damage to Touka.

The matter that I’m a bit confused of however is whether Kakuhou can be regenerated. If we use Kaneki and Rize as a reference, then they can be restored as long as they are given enough flesh and time to recuperate.

However, Dr.Kanou just decided to leave Nashiro dead when he noticed her Kakuhou was more than 70% damaged. Nashiro has Rize’s Kakuhou, so I’m baffled as to why hers cannot be salvaged.

My best guess is perhaps both Kaneki and Rize have multiple Kakuhou, therefore they can keep regenerating as long as not all the Kakuhou are damaged. We know Kaneki has multiple Kakuhou, but we don’t know if that is the same with Rize. (Maybe that’s why she is the perfect Kakuhou donor.)

Or maybe Dr.Kanou just doesn’t give a damn about the twins. ;;;

When did you start becoming aware of TG. And with what kind of expectations did you get into the manga?

I got into TG thx to Forneverworld. Yeah, I'm sorry, but the way he was hyped when he reviewed the first video caught my interest. So I gave it a try, really liked it, but was not too mindblown. Then college came, and I gave up watching the anime. Sometime around the end of November/ the beginning of December I start to hear about Ch.7. My tumblr dashboard literally exploded with the news that Kaneki was still alive. That's when I decided to give the manga a try one day. But two chapters later, I see this beauty named Touka, and I asked myself: Wtf happened?! And yeah, that's how I finally started the manga- thank god I did.

Your cousin picks out the good mangas :) Both Death Note and FMA generally get good reception. Still have to pick those two series up.

Lol, you saw the fan poll. Kaneki and Touka really are the most two famous characters (despite Touka's disappearance in post-Aogiri -.-). With Touka, readers slowly start to fall in love with. Tokyo Ghoul

I started becoming aware of Tokyo Ghoul in college. I heard a couple people talking about it, and from they were saying it sounded pretty interesting. Then I remember you, and Konan sama, and AHK talking about it on the forums so I decided to give it a try and that's how it all started with me and this series. I'm glad I got into this manga though otherwise Naruto would've been stuck in my mind constantly so it's a miracle that I was able to come across this.

I liked it when he became Shironeki due to again the change in his character, and just how he reacted to everything around him. Yeah he was crazy to say the least, but it was like an evolution to see him go from what he believed in to this.

We quite are actually, I mean it was always like this between us when it came to books like Hunger Games, Divergent, and Percy Jackson. Then she just randomly saw the first volume of Death Note at a library and decided to read it which at the time I was actually still trying to catch up with Bleach in the manga (So like the whole Aizen Betrayal scene).

Oh yeah quite a bit of time has passed by since we've lasted seen them so hopefully we get something involving them soon. Damn it Chapter 65 how much longer are you gonna take?? Some one should've at least released some spoiler pics by now.

I'm not sure if you guys have heard of Amanda Lee, she makes english adaptations of anime openings and endings.  Recently she just made her own lullaby version of The Tokyo Ghoul opening with her own lyrics that's similar to the opening's lyrics. Keep in mind the tune is different from the original one, but I think it works. This might be just me, but I actually find it very unique.
