Oh my god oh my god oh my god. This chapter, this chapter, I knew we would get something but dear god I never would have imagined it. My theory of the moment pushing sakura there closer to naruto was kept. Looks like it is Yamato in the spiral zetsu, and the nine tails stuff for transferring is real too.

Madara is the jubbi jinchurki, Karin displayed a lot of power (chatte is really happy about that I bet) and dear god, sakura, sakura is amazing, as naruto said that's the girl he puts his faith in. Sakura was doing CPR but dear god it's still mouth to mouth. Oh god in this situation, now I want to see her reaction to the recovery.

With how this is set up... Kishi could just end the pairing madness right here once and for all. What's he got to lose showing it earlier then expected, he said it himself this is Naruto's final year.

I wouldn't really satisfied if he did that. I've waited years for NS, and I can wait a few more months if it means more build up. Because that means all this time would be well worth it! (:

It's not that I expect some mushy over-the-top ending, but definitely I'm expecting something significant and special to happen in the manga.

I just wonder from this point how the others will react to sakura in this case, yes it was CPR but it's the closest we have. Not to mention, those memories of naruto, that's the strongest thing.

My god it's starting to feel like the joy of 631 again, now more than anything I wonder what will happen with sakura meeting minato again, gaara is doing his job well, but god sakura went to extremes to keep narutos heart pulsing and gaara locked her hand in there, that's resourceful if both if them.

Karin just, well her uzumaki power final came out and least taka took down spiral zetsu, so who is approaching Sasuke?

Next chapter has me excited though, it said Madara appears in front of Kakashi, I wonder what will happen because minato and Kakashi are in the same place, something conflicting may occur.

First of all, I can't understand these people that deny what Kishi tried to represent with the previous chapter and this one. I mean, in 662, Hinata was like, running towards Naruto, and then she fell down, while seeing Sakura reaching him. That... that was very symbolic. People still deny it. Dude, Hinata is a NINJA, she's not supposed to fall the way she did. We can only assume that she's not meant to be with Naruto, even if she tries to reach him, she will always "fall". That's the symbolism of the previous chapter. Now let's move on to 663.

Sakura, literally with Naruto's heart in her hand. That means so much, even more in Japan. Sakura's getting stronger and stronger as a medical ninja, I mean, I was expecting her to cry after discovering that Kyuubi's been removed from Naruto. But, she's willing to save him with all her strength. Really awesome. 

And, besides a CPR not counting as a "romantic moment", it was the first moment in the series that we see lips touching (Not counting the accidental Naruto/Sasuke kiss). Also, that was Sakura's first kiss.

Seeing her remembering Naruto saying that he wants to become a Hokage, just reinforces the fact that she shares his dream. I mean, she wants to see him become a Hokage, we also did see that in the Chunnin Exam, where she was giving up, to protect his dream. I don't know what you guys think, but that's an incredible way to show how she cares about him. Also, in the past chapters, Sasuke said that he wants to become a Hokage too. So, that means Sakura's going to support Naruto in a future "rivalry" between Naruto and Sasuke for the seat of Hokage.

 

I really hope in the next chapters, we see Sakura's crying and hugging Naruto, after seeing him alive. She's very pressured right now, she will need to "release" her emotions after all of this end.

It's going to take some time for this chapter to settle in my head.  Several things I don't understand, but will perhaps be more clear after a reread.

 

My medical kink was fired up with this chapter.  When I realized Sakura was out of chakra and could do nothing beyond real world, I thought, "The only thing left is cardiac massage."  Then I clicked the next page and she cut into his side.  I was literally yelling at my laptop, "CARDIAC MASSAGE, SAKURA!  DO IT!  DO IT!!  DO IT!!!!!!!!" 

 

And SHE DID.  Wow.  Great job, girl.  Way to hold it together and do what had to be done.  Sakura rules.  She absolutely RULES.  You guys were crying for her to be a heroine....  

 

Kishimoto is going somewhere with the mouth-to-mouth, too.  Count on it.

 

P.S.  If you see this Nate River, I thought of you when Suigetsu helped Karin.  Several panels of your favorite Team Not Seven.

Just wanted to address karin not healing herself after sasuke stabbed her..

An animal is only the most dangerous when it's near its end. And in this case, sasuke's end. (Because we are well aware of how she feels about sasuke).

If I'm correct, after sasuke stabbed her, she went through a few panels talking about how she doesn't care about him any more.. that to me, seems like she didn't fully understand who was yet. & still wanting to be by his side after that would only confirm how strongly she feels for him now.

The fear of losing someone to death is scary, sometimes scary enough to unlock hidden potential. I wasn't surprised when karin unleashed those chakra chains and healed herself, it's kind of what I expected.

Edit: because I never believed that karin, an uzumaki was just a sensor mednin... lol I always knew she'd be more important (stronger) than that.

Ok...Finally, I can post my thoughts.

 

I have made two posts regarding of the future events. One is about wait until we learn where Gaara is taking Naruto to and the other is the benefits of having Naruto either survive or die. So far, we got the first one down, and honestly, NS and SK should be celebrating because now we know that this is about Naruto and Sasuke by their teams respectively. Now, they won't interfere with each other; therefore, it's not a Team 7 thing, it's a personal thing. Hell, I was celebrating inside my house for past 2 hours before I can finally write this. That said let's go down to the review.

 

The emotions and suspense is really great in here, especially seeing Sakura feeling like the world just completely end, but luckily Gaara hurries the explanation that maybe he can be saved and it's worth the shot. So once she heard that, her determination increased ten fold, doing what's her heart is telling her to do what's best, even at her low chakra. It truly shows the pure dedication of Sakura to Naruto. This also connects to Yamato's words about feelings being the true key to help Naruto. As for the solution, well, I will wait until the complete process of this solution comes unfold because we have to hear the comments from Minato to see if he thinks it's not likely or whatever. This is going to be something new to him.

 

Karin caught me surprise in a great way because she basically took the route of "My love is in trouble! Everything that once seem scary is nothing!" Remember how Naruto got scared of Gaara when he saw him in the Bijuu form until Sakura got into the mix? That pretty much what happened. In media, it takes a love interest being in trouble to cause that person to go inner rage on someone. I remember Fairy Tail had Juvia went scary mode after bad comments on Gray, so yeah, she beat that person quickly. In SnK, Mikasa saw Eren being "eaten" (or captured, my mind is a little blur at this moment), she went from shocked to pure anger. Look back at the last chapter, she was just sitting down and nobody counted on Karin to do something awesome like here, but her lover is in danger, so everything coming at her means nothing. I found Team Taka here really cool, because they managed to pass through Zetsu with an ambush. Art of a surprise as they say. Oh, Zetsu has a body inside. Yamato?

 

Madara is now a Jinchuuriki. Now, he's pretty much the final boss in terms of villainy at least. All he needs left is the other eye to be fully complete, unlike Obito who was prematured to handle the power of Rinnegan, let alone Juubi. That said this is going to be some scary moment when Madara does reach to Obito's location, either before or at the same time as Gaara. Remember, he's now a Jinchuuriki, so he can deplete Minato and if that happens, Naruto is done for. Even so, Madara may delay long enough to have Naruto dead.

 

Lastly, let's go back to Sakura. As I mentioned before, she is determined to not let him die. The fact she is talking about herself not wanting him to die is a strong scene that is yet to reach to a conclusion. First of all, why did she keep saying she can't let him die? Yes, she is tasked to do this, but she is acting like if he dies, so does she. It's the connection that he and she has now. It feels like that they are now one or something. Referring back to my post about Naruto surviving or dies, this whole line she said is a setup for possible result: her ultimate success or her ultimate fail. She is extremely determined that if she succeed, then she will be incredibly happy. However, if she fails, then she will be broken. Again, Sakura felt like the world ended when she couldn't sense Naruto's pulse. If it really happens, then it's all over. May I remind you, she cried heavily for just learning Naruto's love for her and how much it damaged him according to her mind. Do you know why Kishi separated Naruto and Sasuke's scenarios to their respective teammate? Is it for romance? Is it for more than romance display? So far, it looks that way, but yes, there will be more than just romance. Remember, this is no longer Team 7 thing, this is a personal thing.

 

Overall, I really like this chapter a lot and the suspense is truly getting exciting. We are left with a foot being near to Sasuke, so we are left to guess who. My guess is Kabuto. It does seem like the next chapter may focus more on Sasuke's recovery than Naruto's since it would seem like Naruto's process will be the main key due to how it can happen and Madara heading to the same location. Expect many more dramas in the upcoming events. One final note: I will not give it away but I honestly have one thing in mind on how to handle Madara's epic battle, which most likely starts in next volume, and if it happens, I will be one happy man. I won't say it because it can be jinxed and it will never come near to that idea. The only thing I can say is the idea came from RPGs and that's all. Well, I look forward to next week.
