Totally. But after the last events, unless something real crazy happens, her development cycle is pretty much over with. She stood at Naruto's side, held his hand just like she mentioned and even got a reason to start being more responsible and productive for her clan, though I doubt it might happen given her lack of a decent purpose in life. However if you look closely, every secondary character is finishing their development cycle during these war events. Plus, just like every other story, after the less characters roles are done with, what normally happens first, we'll have the resolution of the main characters drama probably taking place during the final battle between the two protagonists.

That's true. I guess even though they took time away, it at least accomplish that. It's just maybe if it wasn't thrown in many times like past 3 volumes, with some exception like Shikamaru with Naruto, I think it wouldn't be that bad. Still, I think the problem with this chapter, even though it's best to wait and there's still Madara, is that the "final" attack if that is one, doesn't feel that impacted. I don't know, I feel it was more impact with 634.

I doubt that it has something to do with Rin's death. Also in this chapter there's something interesting that has caught my eye. Obito said that the Rikudou, with this "Nunoboko" sword created this world. I was like "WTF!?" because I know that the world already existed before the Rikudou.

My crazy hypothesis is that, due to the wsj preview and some hints scattered around the manga, the actual Naruto world is actually like that's Matrix. A kinda sort of Inception. The whole world was already inside a bogus reality.

Yeah, I wondered about when Obito said that the Rikudou with his sword created the world. We know that the world existed before the Rikudou. Maybe he has made a few changes thanks to the sword. Don't know. It's confusing.

Yeah, It's kinda scaring that this actual world is already inside a bogus reality at the hand of Rikudou. Maybe the Rikudou, on the verge of his death, was terrified about the fate of the world after his death and created this bogus world and the 9 bijuus from juubi's chakra in order to let them to be a sort of guardians of this world. But of course, something gone amiss over the centuries.

You know, what if you're right. I mean maybe when the sword break, the alternative world happened to Obito. I'm still wondering why he imagined it at the exact point of clash. In fact, it almost felt like they swapped places for a while because Naruto and Obito were blurred together, rather than just one man. And yeah, if the sword never lost, only to lose now, what if what you said it's true. It's like, "Oh I doomed us all." So, this could get really interesting. That is if the preview is accurate.

 

Will there be a cover too like the one after 615 ? Last time we didn't know that there's going to be a cover, or not ?

That would be a clever twist. It's like when one character told the world that we're all monsters inside but formed into humans. Well, won't get hope up yet, but we'll see if the next chapter follows the preview.

So many mythology that I didn't even noticed. You know, I hope there's a twist for next chapter like, "Baka!" not comedy but more like a villain (Madara) way of saying "Thanks." Again, me like when things get tough, not easy.

Not sure what's the cover. Team 7 or something related to the recent event, like making a differences with Naruto and Obito side by side, or just about anything. I mean we did have colorspread that is actually part of chapter such as Team 7 reunited, Naruto and Obito showdown, etc. So yeah, not sure what's the next one would be. Hopefully cool and nothing odd.

Ok..I have some more to add to you're crazy theory.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but " The kanji used in Ame-no-nuboko properly spell ame-(no)-numa-hoko, with numa meaning "swamp, marsh, or bog". This would translate as "heavenly swamp spear". < Is this right?

 

If so can it be related to the slugs in anyway? Just saying...though this might be a stretch..

I think he used the sword to give to the people chakra and their bloodline aspects, seeming that the sword is a gigantic DNA by using it probably dispersed out all the kinds of jutsus and bloodline perhaps infecting people i can see this easily because his two sons were too powerfull and fighting against each other and the humanity had no means to fight back or defend themselves so he used the sword to give "chakra" to them.

That's the only way i think about by saying he created the world, the shinobi world.

I agree, I don't think he meant the sword literally created the world, the land and the oceans, it was more like it was used to create the Shinobi World and its derivatives.

When the sage first showed up they said that he taught the jutsus to the people as a way for them to be able to defend themselves but from who i dont know.
