Because Idea of Evil controls them all.

Kind of like chaos gods from warhammer.

I think there are only two option for city state sacrifice.
To make griffith ascend god hood or idea of evil manifest to the material realm.

I don't think another sacrifice for another god hands member.

So I'm on chapter 60 of this, and at this point, guts and Caska haven't gotten together yet, but I know they will. The problem is that if they do get together, she'd be with Guts because she can't be with Griffith. It's pretty much alluded to this multiple times thus far...I know that later she had a child by Griffith because he raped her in front of Guts, but then I heard that she left Guts after that and wanted nothing to do with him, which kinda reaffirms that he might have only ever been a stand in...

I mean they were having sex and she thought to herself that she wasn't sure if she could basically commit herself to him. I'm not sure how much I have wrong...

I just started it last night. Does the art get better later in?

 

The art is wonderful ! It's realistic, and the double pages perfect ! Okay, not ALL panels are perfect, but you see he actually work like a fool to make it close to perfect (and sometimes really perfect). Just compare it to Naruto's panels, you'll see that all the panels are...kind of empty. 

Oh and I LOVE how he draws the action, he's just as skilled as Tsukasa Hojo,cause you actually easily understand what's happening in the fight (thing I find kinda difficult when I read shonens like Naruto and One piece y'see)

Oh wait...I may not remember much but didn't Casca and Guts already *ahem*? If so, she already spoke of how she felt no? Am I wrong and it's in later chapters?

I mean, I'm in chapter 65, so this is after they had sex, and she sees the princess and says that she is jealous of her...

Edit: and then she told Guts, to his face, that she tried to dissuade the princess from going with them because she still has feelings for Griffith :/

I was actually referring to the whole parentage thing with the baby and Casca's outcome after the eclipse :sweat: It's really complicated with Casca, but I personally think that the major feeling she has for Griffith is admiration. Romantic feelings I think she did have, but no where to the extent she has for Guts.
