Looks like both Sakura and Shikamaru are preparing for a possible betrayal by Sasuke....  See? "Accepted easily," my ass.....

I'm looking forward to Sasuke's betrayal. Kishi's plot-twists has its pros and cons, but I think this one will be great!

 

And he has been reinforcing the suspicions for 3 chapters now. How long do we have to wait?

 

But I don't think Sasuke will dare to betray them since 5 extra Kages are coming. Then again, he was the one who wanted Oro to heal them.

 

Makes me think that Sasuke's betrayal is more complex than a literal stab in the back. I hope he has some sort of a plan, because Sasuke isn't the reckless one.

The fact that the word that i translated as unbearable is "たまらない" (taramanai) can be twisted and assuming a double meaning... It can mean as "untolerable/unbearable/tremendous/out of this world/something really bad/ but also "irresistible/cannot help/etc..." I guess that Kishimoto has put a double meaning here intentionally... You can interpret it as you want. I guess that Karin is a little masochist (well to me it was clear from the beginning, the biting marks on her skin is a clear proof of it, she's in fact a masochist. She even had an orgasm each time that Sasuke bited her. I guess that this speech can be distorced purposely by the reader. The attempted murder by Sasuke can be someway appreciated by her but, at the same time, she didn't appreciate it. Karin's a masochist, she has always been so.

Hmm, I don't sense any double meaning here, although I understand why you would think so. She is more saying that it can't be helped that he was trying to murder her is my opinion ^_^

 

Also if anyone was wondering, Tsunade's "Byakugou" is definitely 百豪 so it is reference to her technique and not her seal. 

 

I'm really interested in Sai, Sakura, and Shikamaru. I love those three! Shikamaru definitely feels something. 

But why is Sakura hiding something?? I'm not sure!

 

I can't wait for the Kages to come back :) rematch with Madara? haha!

 

I am not sure how correct the script is so I will see the raw when it comes out.

Is Sasuke evil? Sure he's psycho, but psycho isn't the same as evil. He's willing to do evil things to bring his definition of peace, but I'm not sure if you need a black heart to do that.

 

If he's not completely evil I don't think Naruto can sense it.

 

Because he looked so surprised when Sasuke said "burn it down", yelled his name and all. Unlike Sakura, Sai, Shikamaru and Juugo he hasn't given me any hints, we can only count on Kurama's power.

Of course, I'd like to mention that Sasuke probably won't betray them, he'll just force his own twisted ideology on everyone....like Danzo and Tobi before him.  Maybe.  Either way, what Sasuke's trying to do will most likely not sit well with the other shinobi.

I don't think Sasuke is evil. He's an anti-hero but not a villain. Even though he will kill Naruto and Sakura if they get on the way, he's not doing that because he's evil and he enjoys people dying. He's doing it because they are trying to destroy "peace". He's doing it for his own justice reasons. 

 

And that's precisely why he's a psychopath. Psychopath never realizes that what they are doing have no morals. They only take such actions because it collided with what they demanded.

Well the Jubbi got up, its not going to be defeated so easily, now if its final impending form comes at last, i'm looking forward to a huge battle, its going to take team 7, the edo hokages, and the current ones all to bring down the beast. Naruto and Hashirama may have the method of defeating it due to what Naruto said kurama could do and how we know of Hashirama's powers.

 

I bet Orochimaru, Sugestsu, and Karin went to get Yamato, I really cannot think of anything else that happened.

 

As for the final form of the Jubbi, I bet Naruto will unleash the rinnegan, it sounds dumb and I really cannot imagine Naruto with it, but I feel it will happen, as Jiraya said, "The savior would appear in a time of great crisis and the one who would establish order and peace."

Should this come to pass, Naruto will be the savior when the ten tails goes full power. I would not be surprised if its a one time deal though, I mean for all the power the rinnegan has, I still think the eye looks freaky, better to make it a one time deal and vanish once the ten tails is broken. But there is a way to reverse the jubbi though, if Kurama can do it, he can pull out the tailed beasts when they are wounded and bring them back. If the ten tails is still standing even after all the tailed beasts are pulled out, I suspect it will be the tailed beasts overpowering the ten tails and possibly destroying it once and for all.

 

Things are just getting exciting. Kakashi and Obito at last get a return to the spotlight and Sakura's future development off this is interesting. Maybe its the NS side of me again but this can be pushing it further with Sakura revealing she is not trusting of Sasuke and Shikamaru even knowing it just to lie to ino about nothing going on. Sakura is not dumb, 630 proved she did learn from her mistakes of both depending on Naruto and trying to do it alone, she is not going to do the same stuff again, Sakura is maturing. NS is not canon yet but it just looks like it has even more potential with her not feeling right about Sasuke. If Sasuke does intend to kill the tailed beasts, Naruto included, Sakura is not going to stand for that. As I said, if it comes to it, she will stand by Naruto, not become an obedient pawn to Sasuke. She will support Naruto, physically, mentally, or even just having faith in him, I can only see her standing by Naruto at this point especially when the fight for hokage or the real reason for it comes up.

Sasuke planning to kill Naruto hasn't been established yet. This chapter showed that he wanted to kill the Bijuus in the Juubi. That doesn't mean he wants to kill Naruto and Killer Bee. For all we know, he might want to kill the seven Bijuu's so the Juubi will never appear again.

She's still alive and has survived so many things yet..as I said, still alive.

So I was thinking, IF Sakura would master SSM...would she get some slug-like abilities and until she dies of old age, she will really be immortal in battle and everything, once she gets in SM?! Maan, that'd be the biggest slap to every anti-Sakura person out there, from Kishi, imo...

Its nice that this chapter at least confirmed the humid bone forest being the home of slugs. People did suspect slug sage mode just because it would complete the trilogy and at least one female sage would be shown as well. I mean Naruto, Jiraya, Hashirama, Orochimaru, and Kabuto all had the power of sages. Jugo is an honory mention because he has the clan power to naturally use nature chakra. But I don't think we will get it at this point, unless she does take part in the final series fight. We still don't know if Sakura is at full power either, she has not fought long with the seal. All she displayed so far was enhanced physical power and using Tsunade's remote healing effortlessly. But with Tsunade okay, there is one very neat thing I can imagine, Naruto and Minato can still team up to fight together (I mean the barrier won't hold forever) and what if Tsunade gets her grandfather and Sakura to fight with her, this would be awesome. Just too much interaction possibilities are still open.

But your smile is false (and thus I can tell you're lying).' 
Just think about it. How can her words be sincere, if her face shows the exact opposite? 
Does her face have a mind? Does she have a split personality? Nope. 
I'm really curious about the official viz translation. I think this version: 'Your words might be 
sincere' is complete nosense.

 

What do you think about it? IMO that version (found on mangafox, mangahere etc) doesn't make any sense.

We don't really know exactly what he views as "the antiquated system that needs to be extinguished". Is it the power balance of bijuus stretched over the countries restraining each other? Or could it be the bijuus potential of making people bring them all together to create the Juubi and take control of the world? Is it the shinobi villages using the bijuus for war that is the problem? 

 

Whether it is necessary to kill the Kyuubi or not, depends on what he sees as the antiquated system and what he needs to do in order to destroy it.

I told you so, Tsunade was not meant to die, when a character will die they die at the same time, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Neji, etc. there is no keeping it in the dark for 30+ characters and then kill them anyway.

 

Regarding Sakura, I guess this is a good sign for NS, if she is the only one keeping SS alive and now she doest not trust him is not looking good for the pairing plus if Sasuke srt his eye on killing Naruto them we all know SS will be dead on buried since you will really need to strongly believe in the pairing and a very naive person to believe she will encourage Sasuke trying to kill Naruto or even go against him.

Me? I was only speculating, plus it was scary since Kishi did have the intention of removing old generation to make new generation. But, I'm glad that wasn't the case. Still, I wonder how they feel about all this. It seems like it's getting too complex, so they have to be careful while going there. I can see many will oppose Sasuke and his ideal. No way he can be Hokage with this. More and more he's showing wrong intention or ruthless intention. He's creating his own downfall.

We should wait for raw version, official one. Other than that, no matter what, this is the beginning of the end. The worst part is that Sasuke didn't attempt to show anything that "Hey, now, I'm on your side in many things. So, let's co-op." I thought there will be something that can make him stand out differently, like how Zuko from Avatar trying to ask Aang and others to accept him as a new member to teach Aang firebending, but nope, Sasuke's intention was showing already and already oppose Naruto as well as Hashirama. What's interesting is that Sasuke didn't finish his sentence. Hm, it could be new system or new world, but why stopped the sentence. Something is odd. I guess that's why many saw him as Anakin Skywalker from episode 3, when he said to create MY new empire. All in all, yeah, SS...delay the bomb now. It's getting faster.

Nice chapter XD

 

Sasuke seems more and more turning to the version of Madara 2. He wants his own ideology and wants to finish how is the system now with Orochimaru wanting to see Sasuke's true intentions and actions performed. I think Orochimaru healed the Kages because it's the part of the plan. Plus, we all saw that Orochimaru didn't change from what we saw in his thoughts. He's making them fall in the trap.

 

Sakura's fake smile, she knows that Sasuke is up to something and I think it shows that her feelings for him has decreased a lot or even they're no more.

 

Next chapter is going to be interesting with Obito and Kakashi.
