This Chapter was good but as people have mentioned earlier it made Hinata look weak that she couldn't do anything without thinking of Naruto. This brings back something I said a few years back: Kishimoto SUCKS at developing Female Characters.

Sakura may not have summoned Katsuyu. Naruto summoned Gamakichi rather than Gamabunta and Sasuke summoned some new snake we've never seen. Like the old Sannin in which Jiraiya summoned Gamabunta, Orochimaru summoned Manda and Tsunade summoned Katsuyu. Plus, Katsuyu is with Tsunade so Sakura might have summoned another slug. We'll see next week. Ever since Minato showed up I've been looking forward to each chapter with delight.

I can't help but agree with this. The only way what hinata said makes any sense to me is if she meant it in the sense of comradeship and friends. Thinking about it in terms of couples makes her just look awfully pathetic and needy. Ugh. I just wish she could be her own person she could have such a cool story and she's just obsessed with Naruto :/

They DO grow large faster. Look at Gamakichi during Pain arc.

And just so you don't confuse him with his father Gamabunta, look as you can see Gamabunta has a scar over his left eye and is a much darker tone.

I agree I hope she didn't think about who she's gonna marry on the battlefield. D:

 

Then again, I feel like all of the rookies are not serious enough. It may be comic relief, but to me it feels like Kiba is just showing off, and while team 10 did something cool they were still chatting.

 

They're gonna die if they keep joking around, I want them to start focusing.

Am I the only one that sense Hinata moving on from Naruto romantically and just being there as a friend in her panals.

 

It fells like kishi just killed NaruHina in this chapter.

My problem is with people who only see all Hinata's stuff as pairing moment and love, Naruto smiled at her which we can see on the 615, which was acknowledgement from him saying that she was at his side like everyone else, including Neji and his friends and not only them but also the whole army which Sakura pointed out, all his speech were about him acknowledging everyone as his comrades.

It's nothing new that again she drew her development from him but still Nh is just Hinata and the motor for her character if people doesnt accept NS is their problem not mine, Naruto loves Sakura, Sakura is starting to love Naruto dont see any problem here.

Also people ship NH because they like Hinata's character just look when they wanted to kill Naruto just becuase he said Sakura was his GF.

My only problem is that Kishi keeps bringing her love over and over again.. I thought that from now on, she would show more of her as a person and not about her love for Naruto, but again .. That was the focus of her character...  

 

*sigh* I just wanted that Kishi choose a path and follow with it instead of keeping giving moments (even if just one sided)  for all of them. 

 

For people that are still confused with what Hinata said:

 

Hinata says she wants to keep being at Naruto's side, but Naruto always keeps moving forward, so to do as such she also must keep moving forward in order to not fall behind once again now that she has finally reached him.

 

It was never a romance thing, it's about Hinata wanting to remain an equal to him. She got the strength to do the 64 palms so she could still be at his side and fight with him. Being "forever" at Naruto's side is more about never becoming a liability to him from now on.

 

Hinata might love Naruto, but her statements about being at his side don't have anything to do with wanting to be his girlfriend.

I just realized that despite the trinity of slug, toad, and snake being intended to act as a counterbalance to one of the other two creatures in mythology the frog, at least in the Narutoverse, appears to hold certain key advantages that could place it above the other two. Great versatility with their combat abilities, superior intelligence amongst members of the species in general (most of the snakes that we have seen excluding Manda had little to no personality or self-awareness it seems), and they just have a much greater amount of characterization to themselves than the snakes or slugs do in this series.

hinata is naruto centric and we know this, and i can compare her with sakura mato from fate/stay night.

both is shy big boob girl who love the hero and take streght from him, both have undying love for naruto.

it take heaven feel route to make sakura mato a heroine in that route so she can notice by shiro at last.

but unfortunately she is not the heroine soo..... i am sorry.

Nothing new and we already know 615 was a precious moment from Hinata's perspective.

Then they get trolled because everytime Hinata shows up it's canon when they have to expect that from Naruto and always get the wrong idea, just look at 579.
Also about the preview could be Orochimaru or Juugo.

*Sigh* If these are the only developments Hinata is going to get then It's the same as not being developed at all. -__- Forget about the possibility of NH happening, this really makes her weak as a person in general. Such a fixation on only one person and only seeing that person as your source of inspiration is not an admirable or interesting character in my eyes. not saying I don't like her, I do but This PROVES Kishimoto is not going to do much with her if this is all she is about honestly. If NH happened at this point then it'd be a boring, non-dynamic and one sided relationship with her just worshiping and kissing the ground Naruto walks on and he does not need that. Question. Is any significant character that Kishimoto develops so single minded and singly driven in this series? I mean really. Even if they were there is also more complexity and mystery to them and they certainly don't think about their most important operson like their life depended on it.   That aside I enjoyed the chapter I love how Sai was going to be killed and I enjoyed the fact that everyone is showing their skills and That summoning at the end was EPIC.Now If only there was another NS moment. Not saying that that it needs to be done or that Sakura needs to "show her love for Naruto to be worth anything" (like Hinata) but I'm just anxious for another one since there was only one for the last 100 or so chapters. Like I said her feelings for Sasuke don't necessarily matter to me anymore, but what I want confirmed that she too loves Naruto and this pairing war will resolve when she chooses one or the other. You can love more than one person but it s a matter of choosing who you spend your life with. For our shipping purposes purposes anyway. Just saying, that is a realistic portrayal.

631 was great and just removed NH from the game while i still think the same, 632 and 633 are just people who are in denial and wants to see pairing stuff even where there are not to just get their hopes up, they completely forgot how Naruto stated clearly that he still loves Sakura, on two consecutive chapters and claims that it's still in the game just because Hinata had a flashback of Naruto, doesnt really make sense, i would only recommend to ignore because they are just overreacting and let they be trolled again.
