Did this whole arrow to the knee joke come from the solider who happens to say that when you walk past him? I heard that on the game and it was like *lightbulb* Oh I think I get it. LOL

Every guard on Skyrim will say that at one point or another, leading to the idea that every guard "used to be an adventurer like you," but they took an arrow to the knee.

It snowballed from there like every meme out there....

I posted it up there about the Arrow thing because I'm playing TOR (The Old Republic) And for the first two weeks when it was launched everyone was saying the Arrow Knee thing in the general chat. You can imagine how ANNOYING that can get when you hear it at least 3 times every hour on the hour.

Eh? That's always what I do right before I stop playing the game. Go on a killing spree until I'm finally taken down....

It's hilarious when the guards barely do damage on my high-level heavy armor while I one-shot them with my daedric sword.

Ha ha ha, that's exactly what I did the first time I picked up the game. I remember just chasing that girl from the Riverwood armory out of the village, walking slowly after her with my dual swords while she limped away. Ha ha, I think I'm secretly a psychopath.

I also got into a big fight when I first entered Solitude, after randomly deciding to protect the guy getting executed. It actually went on for like 30 minutes before I ran out of potions. The best part was how pissy my roommate got. "Come on, man, you're playing Skyrim wrong. You're supposed to be going on quests and stuff. Come on, stop wasting your time and meet the elf guy!" LOL, it's so easy to enrage fanboys.

It doesn't help that one of the trophies/achievements for the game is to get 1000 bounty for all 9 Holds. And how do you get 1000 bounty? Kill someone. Which then cascades to defending yourself from guards and before you know it, you're standing in the middle of dead bodies so you can finally fast travel to the next city.

Just started playing on Expert, damn, dragons are insanely hard on this mode, lol, it takes nearly half of my healing potions for each fight but at least now dragons give an true chalenge. But I think I will pass master dificulty, expert is nearly more then I can handle already.

I have doubts. But lets just see. The laggy gameplay is what made me stop playing Skyrim because the game hanging every 20 minutes ain't fun.

People say once you get to a certain level of power, usually over 9000, the game stops being fun, but I disagree. I'm on Master, barely taking damage from Ancient dragons, pillaging entire towns and cities, and having a blast. I feel like Darth Sidious running around with dual sparks, yelling, "UNLIMITED POWAAAAAH!"
