The Japanese Released a Cartoon to explain to children what going on at the nuke plant. It's weird, really, really weird.

http://www.huffingto...n_n_837190.html

Also the most vulnerable nuke plant in the United States isn't in California, it's Indian Point, on a fault line along the Hudson River, 24 miles outside the Bronx.

http://www.huffingto...-_n_836982.html

BBC Reports that a power line has been successfully connected to Reactor 2 if it works then they can activate the cooling systems and shut it down, but there's no guarantee.

I might be having nightmares about this for awhile but that was a good way to explain it to children.

Lol, this video is really weird, it reminds me of those old ones used in the 50' to educate children about the dangers of nuclear weapons and the soviet union.

I don't think this has been posted yet. But it brings up a good point about all the pets in Japan that are either separated from their owners or abandoned in the aftermath of the Earthquake/Tsunami. I remember there being rescues in Post-Katrina of pets. Some were brought to Texas. smile.gif

It's good to know these two were saved.

Dog survives and stays with ailing friend

Sad to see two ailing dogs have more loyalty and friendship to each other than most of the people dissing an ailing and weak Japan.

The Japanese public is now skeptical of anything coming from the mouths of Tepco representatives. The past three days thousands of Tokyo residents have been lining up in lines over a kilometer long outside the airports for Temporary visas in case a full meltdown happens at Fukushima, so they can immediately leave the country temporarily then return once the radiation begins to drop. Flights to the Kansai (Osaka/Kyoto/Nara) and further southwest have also spiked. They aren't panicking outright but they don't believe they are hearing the truth from Tepco.

It's Ichiro Suzuki he's the biggest baseball idol in that country right now. Especially since he became a success in the United States when he was brought over back in 2001, Japan's his home.

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense with the extent of the damage we've been seeing, and witness reports from the Sendai region, there's a hospital that withstood the tsunami but everyone had to flee to above the fifth floor. That would have to be higher than the 30 feet they've been reporting.

If the world is gonna end in 2012, do everything you want to do on that last day. Go to bed. If the world ends, you won't feel it.

And if nothing happens, good for you. Continue on with life.
