So they're going to make another series like a spin off and Kishimoto won't be part of it? Oh boy somehow I smell NH and SS happening in said series because that way all the fandoms are happy. NS becomes canon in the manga and in the "Last". So they decide to make the other pairings canon in this new project.
Let's not jump to conclusions.

The new era project also contains the movie, the replacement of Lee by Sasuke in the gag manga and an exposition in Tokyo.
It's not a future era in the Narutoverse, it's the codename of the project consisting in milking the Naruto franchise after Kishimoto quit.

I only assumed this new era project to be a spin off series like they did with DB GT. I can be wrong.

I just watched Naruto Shippuden on Toonami (I'm such a dork)
Right now they are passing the sasuke & sai arc (or however that arc is called lol)
/sigh/ back when naruto was more enjoyable to watch.

Nah... Kishi's been bringing up all this love throughout this war. He even brought up Sasusaku and smashed it to the ground.. so I think he'll resolve the love triangle xD It would
make more sense for them to be canon in the manga and then show the relationship in the movie.

It wouldn't be surprising. Kishi has often needed to cut corners with fights in his manga because of editorial pressure. Because of them, we were deprived of a rare opportunity to watch Tsunade fight in a one versus one battle. Hidan also became a one-trick pony as a result. The neglect of their panel time in combat is probably what contributed to the fans' notion that they're the weakest of their respective groups (the Sannin and Akatsuki).
Yet we have enough time for a crappy Mifune vs Hanzo fight that added nothing to the story and might as well not exist at all.

Why do I have a gut feeling that Kishi wouldn't confirm any pairings at the end of the manga? What if it's in the movie for commercial reasons? Because if they already reveal it in the manga.. Well chances are.. The movie would lose money..
I think the series would end fixing the feud between sasuke and naruto.. But not one is dying since in the movie.. Both are still alive.. They said the movie takes place after years or so..
Shippers would wait then for the movie to clear things up.. Another long wait perhaps..

Pairings never really were very important in this show. If there aren't any pairings, I wouldn't be surprised...
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

this movie is an epilogue movie after the war if kishi didn't confirm any pairings atthe end of the manga that would be bs since the manga is about a year ahead of the anime

Remember guys Masashi Kishimoto is a fan of DBZ.
If there is going be third Series. It'll have Kakashi as the Hokage. Naruto job would taking the spot of Jiraiya. Sakura takes the spot of Tsunade's spot.
