I felt like he was redeemed really well. His life was a giant pile of kitten, everything he thought he was doing was a lie, as he found out for Madara, yet he still tried to atone for his mistakes and all the lives he took by putting his life on the line. Since we all know Naruto is going to win, we can safely say that he saved the world three times over lol

I just edited out atleast 3 mistake son the Sakura page all of which say that her love for Sasuke has increased while her love for Naruto is a platonic form of brother/sister love.......and the next day the edits were changed back by the moderator.

Where do people get the idea that Sakura started loving Sasuke after that?! People forget what happened afterwards. Real Sasuke comes and insults Sakura. And the scene ends with Sakura thinking this- 'This is how Naruto must feel. I shouldn't treat him like that. Next time onwards, I'll be nice to him'.  NOTHING ABOUT SASUKE!

Then please explain why did she loved him ? Can you give me any valid reason ? Do you even understand what we are saying with that she gain a false image of him back then ? Its not that she start loving him then but it helped its an extension of what she felt for him before mixed with her feelings of teammate care .  And what you said doesn't erase that moment what kind of logic is that ? That moment still stays it doesn't erase that she gained the impression that such a Sasuke existed in the first place when in reality it never was . 

 

I'm the belittlement and murder attempts made her stop thinking that Sasuke is her prince charming. It'd be utter ridiculous and incredibly idiotic if she thought at this point in the series he was still her prince charming. She doesn't think he is and I'm glad she isn't.

 

But please don't think I'm saying that the bench scene means nothing. I think it added onto the NS development.

I understand that but it still doesn't erase that she thought he ever was , bringing this would erase this completely and give some closure to it , but you are right about the negative SS moments they are there for the purpose of breaking that Image of Sasuke .

 

And no I don't think that don't worry  you argument was that you thought that we said she loved him bc of the forehead scene but that's not it I was arguing the whole scene and that it contributed to seeing Sasuke in a different light and as one of the reason she still had feelings for him that's all .

You said Sakura loves Sasuke and still has that mental image of him . I thought it was about that image of Sasuke complimenting her.

I think that was me that said that, but I never said that she fell in love with him there after the compliment. I think that she took that mental image of him and believed that is what Sasuke could be, and she "fell in love" with that image, not consciously knowing that the image she had in her mind, was actually Naruto. To this point, everything she wanted Sasuke to be, Naruto is. Whether it not she has begun to understand that, at least on a conscious level, has yet to be seen.

I don't think she was ever truly in love with Sasuke, like I said, she grew attached to that image she had of him because she thought he could be that, and thus why this has dragged on so long.

People, please don't think I don't like that bench scene and that its not important. It was very important. Infact that scene made me start supporting NS. That scene was to introduce readers to the love triangle and give an idea that Naruto is Sakura's soulmate. But is it the most significant thing that has ever happened with NS in 687 chapters ? There have been so many better ones. I don't want that chapter 3 scene to be the main reason for NS resolution, that's all.

You did not get the point I tried making in my previous two replies to you. You are thinking that we are saying its the most important event and nothing else matters! If anything, NS has stands on many many many manyyyyy beautiful moments and not just this one! We are saying it is ONE OF THE significant events as opposed to IT IS THE significant event!

I don't think it needs to be brought back when you have instances of her thinking about Sasuke in a very negative light. 450 is a prime example. I don't think it's really that big of a deal that she thought Sasuke was her prince charming at like 12-13 years old. I mean she was just a little brat. I'm not gonna hold it against her that she thought of him that way. Imo she's had the best character development in team 7 and it's hard to believe she used to act like that years ago.

Sasuke called her 'annoying' right afterwards. You think that didn't shatter her and her opinion of Sasuke as prince charming?

We are not saying that Chap 3 will be the resolution for NS but that it will clear some things up for Sakura's feelings . Look at it like this we have 687 chaps of NS development in this chapters Sakura started to see who Naruto is and started to love him  going back to chap 3 and finding about what happened will help Sakura see things more clearly based on all the development she had with Naruto and Sasuke .

After seeing Sasuke being targeted by Orochimaru, she got the idea that Sasuke was actually helpless and was being forced to do all his misdeeds. I feel that was the false mental image not chapter 3. Do you remember when he slapped the apples out of her hand and challenged Naruto. Sakura nervously sees the cursemark. Later when she talks to Naruto on their date, again she mentions it was not Sasuke but his cursemark that made him challenge and fight Naruto. Even when he left the village, she believed he needed rescuing because he was helpless and being forced by the curse mark. 

 

But this image of innocent, helpless Sasuke shattered when she found out he had joined the Akatsuki. She completely lost her faith and collapsed and Naruto had to console her. Then came the murder attempts and she stopped trusting Sasuke after that.

How is him being helpless or him being evil in there is a reason to love him or gaining a false image ? Sakura in there refused to believe that Sasuke had darkens in him which means she had that image of him as "really nice shy guy her prince charming"   even before that she didn't gain it then . In Ch 3 we have conclusion of what she thinks of him Naruto confirmed this so why deny this so much ?  The Chunin exams is where she starts to care for him as person not only as a pretty object what happened in there gives no reason to love him whatsoever . Like I said she had that image of him before Ch 3 now add the teammate care she developed in the Chinin exams  and you get her "love" for him  you see her "love" is a mix of her false image of him and her teammate care for him . You know what convinces me even more in this RTN even if not canon it came from Kishi and the way he illustrated her view and feelings for him as Sasuke is someone who "understands" her which is pretty similar to what she thought in Ch 3 .

Yeah and that is a camardarine/teammate care , Still that image had to come from somewhere and like I said what you are saying now/describing is the revelation of that mental image not how she gained it . But still like I said  the nature of her feelings is developing a care for a comrade which are mixed with the false image she had of him and romantic feelings she had before which all of that is the result of Sakura being "in love" with him .  As for the idea that he was manipulated that image is completely gone now .

 

When she says that to Ino she says that Sakura knew and was pretending not knowing that Sasuke was liked by the rest of the girls .  Reason for that liking/fangirling is that every girl liked Sasuke the "cool hot guy" even Ino her BF and Sakura as a little girl was bullied bc of her forehead and nobody acknowledge her . So there are two reasons for it 1. Which is wanting to step out of Ino's shadow to prove her self as strong and 2. By gaining Sasuke "love" she thought she will get acknowledged  by everyone .
