I think that the reason it's gone on so long though is that she is holding on to this idea that she can make Sasuke be Naruto and get that response from him. I don't think she consciously realizes what she's doing though, this the reason for the pain and the length of it dragging on. She has an internal struggle going on because she "loves" Sasuke, when in reality she wants Naruto, but doesn't realize it.

No, she is not holding on to any such ideas. She gave up on him completely and tried to kill him ffs! What she wants and its been made crystal clear through her words,thoughts,even her actions is Team Seven to truly trust each other and laugh together like in part 1. 

She realizes exactly what she is doing-She is helping Naruto and doing her best to not let him down. She has not shown to be pained but what she has shown is sadness that Sasuke doesn't care about the teammate bond anymore because she genuinely thought Team seven was back in 632. lol I thought she gave up on him back in chapter 245 when she was flirting with Naruto. Let's say Naruto didn't say something stupid to her, they probably would went on a date and probably would have gotten together around that time lol, because with so much bliss Naruto probably would have slipped out his feelings but I'm thinking too much lol, but it's an alternate and would have been wayyyyyy too early.

hell yeah they always do some stupid kitten like that, to be honest I hate how they portray love, sometimes the person only knew the person for a day and already they saying I really love her or him, if they know that person is with someone, they already complaining that they heartbroken, and stuff. Friends is a perfect example. It was shown consistently that Ross and Rachel loved each other throughout the whole series, so how the hell did Ross fall on love with so much other people in between when it was confirmed that he loved Rachel the whole time, I don't understand that. Rachel loved Ross and also claimed she liked slot of people in between. Then they always doing that love at first soght crap that I don't believe in. So to sum it up if done by Hollywood, it would Sakura-Chan asks Naruto to do promise of a lifetime. Naruto is heartbroken and then here comes along Hinata, Naruto then decides he loves Hinata when he really loves Sakura-Chan and then ends up with Hinata. WTF .

But 'Friends' sitcom is undoubtedly one of the most popular sitcoms overall on World television. Its been 11 years since the show ended but it is still repeat broadcast in some channels in my country. One of the best shows I have ever seen. You don't see sitcoms like that being produced these days

I feel as if this is all Naruto's fault for transforming into Sasuke and complimenting her on her forehead which kinda started the pairing wars I think and causing Sakura to love Sasuke more. But still do you think Naruto will confess to Sakura when the time is right in the manga?

"Sasuke"'s forehead comment really didn't mean much to her and didnt make her love him more since he followed it up by saying that would be something Naruto would say.

While I don't think the Bench Scene had any relevance on Sakura's feelings for Sasuke getting stronger or not, I can't help but feel that it will have a callback anyway. I know it happened so long ago, but there's just something about that scene that needs to be addressed again.  It's possible it won't happen, but I can see NaruSaku becoming canon near a bench (not the same bench lol) as a callback at the least.

I think the impression that Sakura got of "Sasuke" during the Bench Scene is pretty much the reason for the false image she gained of him and by that the reason she loved him  especially when we look at the conclusion she gain from him from the whole scene . First at the beginning of that scene she says  that "Sasuke's looking at her with his eyes deeply is like he's looking into her soul "  by this she just classified him as her "Soulmate"  , then we have the forehead compliment  even if it was retracted it doesn't change the fact that he said that to her and how it made her feel when he said it  , then we have Sakura and "Sasuke"(aka Naruto) trying to kiss (this is a huge deal) , then we have him escaping from the scene and Sakura with yet another conclusion  that he's a "nice shy guy"  but all of that was Naruto not Sasuke  .

 

So the conclusion she got from that whole scene is 1. Sasuke is her "Soulmate" and 2 . Sasuke is this "sweet nice shy guy" who "loves" her aka all of this is the false Image she gained of him  the funny ironic thing is even Naruto after that scene comments on how he just made Sasuke look even better in Sakura's eyes (Baka)  . All in all I say the Bench Scene is pretty much relevant for the Romance Subplot and Sakura's existing feelings for Sasuke as it began there  by gaining that false image of him and the fact that latter she mixed those feelings with the feelings of camaraderie/teammate care for him  (aka the Chunin exams ) didn't help either . Its all one major clusterkitten if you ask me .

I think if naruto live action succed, perhaps it will open the other manga/anime to go to big screen.

I think naruto will succed since the manga plot follow movie plot.

I always feel very bad for Sakura fans and NaruSaku fans being bashed all the time, even if we are nice to them, they still don't know the word respect. When I first became a NaruSaku and Sakura fan I was being nice to naruhina and sasusaku fans, some of them were nice but most of them were NOT. Later on I started to understand to not waste my time with them and spend time with other NaruSaku and Sakura fans. They just don't understand NaruSaku and Sakura. Thankfully this website saved us. We feel very safe here.
