The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

@AHK:
if Sakura had for Sasuke wasn't really love, then it wouldn't have dragged on as long as it has. She wouldn't feel so much pain about it and struggle to move on from him if it wasn't real. We wouldn't be dealing with this drawn out love triangle crap for the past how many years if she didn't ever love him.
I would totally love to believe Sakura never loved Sasuke and the only person she'll love will be Naruto, I hate SS and what it does to Sakura's character with intense fiery passion. One of the worst pairings I've ever seen, non-canon or not. But I'm not going to do that for all of the above reasons. It just wouldn't fit IMO.
What Sakura felt for Sasuke was never true love for multitude of reasons (she didn't understand him, had baseless reasons to like him, loved an image more than the person, was very selfish with him etc.), but it was still a form of love. It just isn't classified as love on the level it is/will be with Naruto.
But I guess with a basis like that, I can understand why some people can't really believe she loved him.

That's the most disappointing thing for me. Why Naruto considers Sasuke almost brother-like and why Sakura developed such strong feelings for Sasuke, the story given to us does not offer a satisfactory explanation for these. Its just difficult to understand.

So if NaruSaku does happen, what about Sasuke? And Hinata will most definitely be heartbroken.

And if SasuSaku does happen, what about Naruto, the hero of the manga? And Karin will most definitely be heartbroken.

I care more about Karin than Hinata and Naruto shouldn't be made to just hook up with someone ![]()
To answer your above question more seriously though,
1) Loving a female that is not his mother has not been part of Sasuke's character in the entire manga. No where has he expressed a desire of falling in love with anyone. So there is no issue to be resolved there. Kishimoto could end the manga with Sasuke still single and it would be in flow with the story.
2) Hinata's destiny has always been to win over her father and to be an able leader of her clan. This is her story.
You can see it clearly. She went from being shy and always looking towards Naruto for inspiration TO leading the front line of the Alliance and being an inspiration to Naruto.
Her admiration for Naruto has never made her jealous when Naruto shows affection to Sakura and she has never been desperate for Naruto to reciprocate her affections.

Not just Karin, its just that Hinata's at the bottom of my list of favorite female characters. Part 2 Hinata is simply an annoyance.

At least Hinata tried to help Naruto during the fight w/ Pein, unlike Sakura... but she didn't really accomplish much... and as for Karin idk i guess in terms of usefulness she ranks higher than hinata

I could write a LAP rant on why Hinata did more damage than help in the Pein arc, but many have already done that.

Well idk but if you're talking literal damage she did cause naruto to go KN8 and crush the already-flattened Konoha into pieces lol

Actually, I'm not, but i do find it cute, but now i'm more towards NS since it has the best chance of happening and is the only ship that isn't totally one-sided.

I think that Karin was introduced because NS will happen. But it my gut feeling

Actually main problem with NH s Naruto s not even close to aware her feelings. In NS Sakura know this fact from long period and somehow accepted this. There s not brush of from her like in begin of manga.
And if SasuSaku does happen, what about Naruto, the hero of the manga? And Karin will most definitely be heartbroken.
IF SS happen it will be couple i dont understand. In terms of story and plot it below level of love rather some kind of fanatic

There is something I always wonder. Do you think Sasuke will get the power to control Kyuubi like Madara? If so, how would Naruto fight against this? Has it got something to do with the power Itachi left in Naruto???

You do know that Itachi power has already went in effect long time ago right? Well, if that happens, the battle will actually get tougher, rather than at the moment, pretty easy. There is something I always wonder. An ultimate genjutsu to manipulate Sasuke forever. It was the final resort if Sasuke never turns good. So instead, he used it to break free from Kabuto's control. Can you tell what power Itachi gave to Naruto? I can't remember

Oh right. Thanks ![]()
You never know though. Kishimoto can easily asspull another stating its another power that Itachi left in Naruto.
