I don't think SS is popular enough there, to make up for the rest, from what I've seen anyways SN is king in Japan. Seems that way anyways.

 

I said that because Sasuke was apparently a huge reason alot of people were going to go see the movie but he was only in it for like 10 seconds. So having a movie with him starring might actually erase some of the bad rep

I haven't even read the movie novelization that was translated but I know it's going to be something stupid. Actually, do you have a link to it? I'm kinda curious how far Naruto has fallen.

I heard that after chapter 700 the number of NH and SS fan art on pixiv increased... SasuSaku ones were a lot even before the ending... I think that SS is just as popular as SasuNaruSasu in Japan.

It's just badly written PG13 smut where Naruto gets turned on by seeing Hinata's arm... yeah her arm... not side boob or leg or thigh her damn arm.

 

Only think worse then smut is badly written smut. Whoever wrote it should have at least read some old detective stories. If your going to write something like that at least do it correctly.

I've seen the most outrage from SN, not SS. Now maybe I'm wrong, wouldn't be the first time in the last month I've been disappointed and wrong about the Naruto fandom and creators.

You can see his breath.  "Cos you are dressing like this (lightly), you are cold." Naruto glanced at Hinata's bare upper arms. The skin is fair and clear. "........" "Please don't stare... this is a mission gear so... I can't choose..." Hinata hiding her naked arms and lowering her eyes with a blush on her cheeks made Naruto's heart twinge.  "something, anything will do...I oughta say something now! I must say something(cool)!"

Because when I draw Naruto and Sakura it's always in character and they hate that. Sorry but it's true otherwise they wouldn't be pissed.

It's more about the idea rather than the artwork itself.

It's not even the arm that turns him on, it's Hinata's white skin. Apparently Japanese people have this soft spot for woman's white skin, I read something like that in Memoirs of a Geisha.

I know it can be difficult but I would try to ignore their comments. They attack the NS fandom because it was not just about NH becoming canon for them. It was about them winning over us. Basically they wanted to see NS fall, and that it did in canon. It's sad that NH becoming canon isn't enough for them, but what can we do? All we can do is try to ignore them, because after all these years of shipping wars it's clear there is no reasoning with them to stop it.

Seriously? What happened with Bleach? I was so ready for it to come back Did it do really bad in Japan? I hope all this backlash will do some good. At the very least let them, Kishi, and their future works suffer. I think they deserve it.

too many fillers and a kitten arc was its downfall. naruto is about to repeat the same thing with fillers, and it's worse since it's after a bad movie that they clearly didn't like and their no refund policy exposed them for the money hungry jerks they are.
