tbh I never really got how the hug was for us how 615 is for NH.

It looks more like she's whispering in his ear than actually hugging him. I guess I would have liked the moment more if she actually said or thought "thank goodness your safe" instead of "thank you for saving us" since at the very least that's what Hinata was thinking.

tbh I never really got how the hug was for us how 615 is for NH.

It looks more like she's whispering in his ear than actually hugging him. I guess I would have liked the moment more if she actually said or thought "thank goodness your safe" instead of "thank you for saving us" since at the very least that's what Hinata was thinking.

For the thousand times, it's the atmosphere and the follow-up to her cry. Plus, this is cliche technique you see in movies where the hero returns and she will hit the guy or not, whatever works, and then hug/kiss. 615 don't have atmosphere but united we stand.

I can't help but think that the hug had such a background atmosphere which was romantic and seems to be cliche theme for romantic plots whereas 615 had a WAR in the background.....hmmm...the differences are telling!

Meh, I can't remember in the manga but in the anime they do this white background, leaves swirling very often. Even in the manga, one of the SS hugs had this I think.

I know 615 was platonic, I know the hug was in romantic context (because of Kakashi and everyone else's reaction). My point is its kind of an odd looking hug it looks more to me like she's whispering in his ear because she has her hand around his head and not his body.Again I know it was in romantic context i'm just curious if Sakura intended it to be.

 

As for the Deadpool reference, its ironic because he has the same VA as Obito.

She is gently touching his cheek which makes it romantic. Both hands wrapped tightly around the back would make it more of a motherly hug. See Kushina's hug.

Honestly, I keep thinking about it as well XD. But oh well....a hug is a hug XD. Just like a kiss! May it be French or any other, if it has romantic undertones it IS romantic. No matter what XD!

But...there's another way to look at it just like my friend @ns.Believe.it said. She has her hand on his cheek and whatever he said! And btw, that 'Thank you' was not a whisper but it was loud enough for everyone to hear! The background made it seem like she was whispering but in reality....it was a normal pitched, pleasant to hear and heard by everyone 'Thank you' XD

What I loved was Kakashi's expression during the hug. Maybe its at that moment he first realized Sakura had changed and was getting over Sasuke. Or maybe he was just thinking- 'Damn! What do I need to do to get hugged like that by a woman?'

True. That reaction gives the readers a hint that the hug was romantic, but I liked Kakashi's wide-eyed expression. Its rare to see calm and cool Kakashi give such an 'uncool' expression

Off-topic but it appears that Digimon s1 is getting a sequel. That said if you grew up with the series, if the sequel just hypothetically speaking retcon s2, would you be happy?

Not to forget that he's Konoha's #1 analyst! So...his opinions have much weightage, I think!

The Jman loved Tsunade but before she could return his love, the Jman died, leaving Tsunade to live. The Jman failed in both life and death. Obito loved Rin, but he "died" before he could confess, then Rin died while he lived on. However, Obito lived on and, when he died, it seems that he succeeded in death to get what he wanted in life (Rin's affection) in the latest chapter. Jiraiya failed in life and death, Obito failed in life but succeeded in death, so naturally, Naruto will succeed in life.
