and right now his hearts pointing in Karins direction. As I posted elsewhere Kishimoto in the latest chapter had yet another picture of Sasuke and Karins faces in close proximity in the same panel. This is something he does consistently to show two people who are close to each other. Hes doen the same with Naruto and Sakura as well.
Sasuke has shown no romantic inclination towards Sakura ever in the manga aside from the rather ambiguous thank you moment. the only times hes eevr thought about Sakura are in the context tof team 7 and always done with a flashback of team 7 as a whole.
Add in the fact that the root of her love for him is based in an illusion, and we have no foudnation for a relationship between the two of them. more to the point theyve grown so far apart that any feasable relationship would be contrary to her growth as a character.
the development romantically would clearly favor Naruto whom she has been shown to see his growth and has grwon alongside from the very beginning.

NH and SS have been ''allies'' for a while now. According to them, the two can't happen without each other. If SS happens, then NH is sure to happen, and vice versa, like some corny fanfic where everyone gets together
Which is interesting... Since now NH and SS fans call Naruto the ''rebound guy,'' - because I don't know, Sakura loves him I guess - wouldn't that make Hinata the rebound too, since Sakura got stuck with Sasuke and Naruto's got nobody?
Anyways, I don't think SuiKarin has any chance. Yes, she hits him, but there's no love in those hits, unlike NaruSaku's, know what I mean? Karin and Suigetsu don't have anything romantic between them. So I'm pulling for SasuKarin.

Let's evaluate things, assuming you are correct:
If Kishi chooses SS:
Sakura's character development will be retrogressive, and she will be reduced to a fangirl. Especially after all her talk about not wanting to be with a criminal who broke her heart. Sasuke will get the girl that Naruto, the main character wanted. Naruto will be alone. (No Hinata-rebound either, according to Kishi)
If Kishi chooses NH:
He will have to do a U-turn, and outdo Naruto and Sakura's development (That's over 400 chapters) without watering down the manga to a Shoujo over 800 chapters long with no more point. Sakura, whose character has romance deeply integrated into her, will remain a lonely spinster. No Sasuke.
Yikes... Doesn't look good to me.

It's good that you posted it, because it also contains the "Me too"/Hinata quote.
And puts it into context. As in, he will only have Hinata in love if it makes sense
with the rest of the story. (And not that he is feverishly shoe-horning that
twist into the story, which some NH supporters make it sound like.)

Yeah, I was wondering myself, so I went to try and find it XD
Perhaps Hinata already had her chance, aka the confession. I don't think it harms Hinata's character in any way for her not to receive Naruto's love. The best part of her interest in Naruto is how he inspired her to be stronger.
It's kinda funny kishi says he hadn't thought about all the unrequited love he had produced in his manga...

And I'd just like to point out that "at least one" has been requited: Narusaku. He's just worked things up a little so that they aren't together yet.

Now we know Hinata has confessed. And while the moment was a clear moment for Hinata herself it is clear her feelings were genuine.
We know Sakura has also confessed, And while the moment was a clear NaruSaku moment, Sakuras feelings remain conflicted due to her former love for Sasuke.
Now your asking at this point. So what Catsi? We allready know this.
What i find interesitng and havent seen discussed yet is this. The title of the two chapters in question.
Chapter 437 entitled Confession
Chapter 469 entitled Sakuras confession
An important moment for Hinata reduced to a single word.
Where as an equally important moment for Sakura though is given a personal touch by directly referring to the person about whom the moment is made for. IE Sakura and her confession.
This strikes me as particularly telling especially given the impact Hinatas confession is supposed to have and the supposed ambiguity or even outright falsehood Sakuras confession is supposed to have.

It is also possible Kishimoto didn't want repeating the same chapter title.
But yes, I find funny the title strongly stressed it was SAKURA'S confession, in spite of it was supposed to be false. Or perhaps it was false not at all and she was being sincere.
And regarding the "two is better than one" fallacy, I can't believe someone uses such an absurd and preposterous argument. Moreover, it can be easily turned on them: NaruSaku and SasuKarin are two relationships. And NaruSaku, SasuKarin and KibaHina are THREE relationships and they can't happen if NH and SS happen. Three is better than two!
Honestly, we will be fortunate if we see more than one relationship becoming official (I think we'll see NS and maybe SK and ShikaTema, but I am not downright certain). That argument makes no sense -again-.

Do you want to take over the world, huh? Well, you'll have to go through us first!
