No I have to disagree. I dislike Sasuke as much as the next guy but Sarada is literally the only thing good that came out of that stupid ass relationship that is Sasusaku. So naaah I'm going to keep liking Salad, She's not as emo and cocky as Sasuke and doesn't act like a prick, doesn't put up with all the ninja bs and stupid crap, boruto being part of that stupid crap, so I can see why she is kind of rude towards him. She's the only reason I'm keeping up with the manga tbh. (but then again it's only been one chapter, so I'm HOPING Kishi doesn't screw her up)

 

Same here actually, when it comes to Sarada. I know alot of people keep saying oh she's just another female character she'll get screwed over in the end just like the other female characters. While that is true she is also an Uchiha, and we all know how much favoritism Kishi has towards the Uchiha, yes I'm looking at you guys Itachi, Madara, Sasuke, and Obito. 

 

 

So yeah while I do love her character it's best to see where she goes in the next chapter and how she progresses within this little spin off. Also I really need to know is this spin off confirmed to be 10 chapters or 12 because I've been hearing differents numbers from various sources?

Besides

... spend 12 years away looking for a cure not even sparing a glance for said daughter, like going back to the city to spend time with her or something? Even departing when she was still a baby? And as the first baby uchiha in years how they could reach such diagnosis with Salad as a baby still?

I think kishi either convinced himself, or some others convinced him that if he brought his characters full circle back to their previous selves at the beginning of pt1, the fans would be satisfied and the end pairings could made without a lot complaints. They would buy it and let the fact that the core of the story was disregarded and outright changed pass.

I seriously believe that SS happening is all about Sakura's low self-esteem, that she doesn't think she'll ever find anyone better for her than Sasuke, that's she's not worthy enough for Naruto.  That's all there is to it IMO.

 

It always seems to be that with Sakura. She sees herself as unworthy of Naruto's love.

But who knows what she was thinking.

May be it's the possible Uzumaki blood counteracting the "Brood mode" of the Uchiha blood

And wait. Why would he need to go find a cure for his daughter when he doesn't even know she wears glasses or she has a problem with her eyes ??

He's not even met her once for god's sake. This theory has more holes in it than Stephen hawking's black hole theory.

That's possible BlackBird. Never heard that theory.  I personally think Kishimoto is just this bad without the steady hand of an editor there to focus his story, but you very well could be correct.

Despite all of the other crap, I can safetly say that Sarada herself is a really good and compelling character. She might even end up as one of my favorites by the end.

the fandom reaction to it managed to bring out some good laughs from me though so that's a plus

Well there are anti-fanclubs there, and not all NH over there ship SS too. 

The released Gaiden chapter brought some old members back, who came just  so they could laugh at the whole situation

From what I've seen in some sites they seem to have actually turned against Hinata slightly after her performance in the Last.

 

As for the theory, I really don't get how giving Sarada glasses fixes that problem. If that were the case woulldnt sasuke have gone "hold up Naruto, let me put on my sweet shades" during their fight.

I think what's left of NF is more anti/pro Kishimoto then anything else. And the Pro is really divided between the hardcore NH/SS fans with some obvious cross over between them. The antis are pretty much everyone who isn't NH/SS, with even a few NH/SS people in there as well. Still there is a huge portion of Pro people there, I mostly avoid them. I got tired of debating them 6 months ago. The anti-fanclubs are fine though if you got a thick skin.

I used to enjoy reading the anti-NH thread there. Those people really knew where to aim when it came to the rabid NH army. Saw some pretty decent NH people too there, nice folks. But they were heavily outnumbered by the die hard ones.

I agree. Like I said I just don't believe in "theories" with regards to Kishimoto because I don't think he plans things out in details that much. My guess is Sasuke has been gone for the things that were hinted at before had by Kishimoto, he's investigating the Rabbit Moon Goddess stuff. Hell maybe he's also tracking down Oro or something else who knows.

 

I also know that the 12/13 year of abandoning his family will be approved in the end by the character affected. Both Sakura and Salad will forgive Sasuke, hell I wouldn't be shocked if they outright tell him they are glad he did it for the good of the village.

 

The sane aspects of the fandom (non hardcore SS/NH) though know how terrible the idea of just abandoning your family is, even if Kishimoto doesn't. Sasuke couldn't even be bothered to meet his daughter once?
