Starting tomorrow, August 1 (JST), the Japanese government will start an anti-anime/manga piracy. More info on this thread. 

 

Haven't they done something like that in the past? Will it be any different this time?

hard times for us...

What makes me mad is that despite combating piracy they make no efforts to make those mangas avaiable to all.
i would glady buy all the volumes of Mondaiji but they arent released on english, the same case for other mangas.
Animes is the same thing aside from Crunchyroll but it's not all the animes.

Secondly i'm not making excuses i'm just pointing out the bad business decision because i would keep pirating anyway.

As long as they don't touch One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, AgK, Magi, HxH, and SnK i'll be fine. Although, that might be asking for a lot :chuckle: I was joking before, but I might just start downloading the manga's just for the hell of it...anyone know where I can do that?

One thing I'm confused about.

Why is Hinata even in the trailer for The Last?

 

and.. I really don’t think the pairings will be settled in the movie. That defeats the purpose of those reading the manga, doesn’t it?

It depends really. We don't know if it's a tie-in to the actual manga. By that, I mean is this the result of after this war or is this the result of what if they did this way after the war. Like say in the manga, Sasuke left and everyone has changed. In this movie beforehand, everyone hasn't changed and Sasuke did return. What is it going to be? Free-for all or stick to the book (literally)?

I'm hoping it sticks to the manga, a time skip sorta thing would be logical. Especially with Naruto's hair and the woman who's pregnant. (Sakura, hint hint  :smug: ) I think the manga will end with the war ending, Naruto becoming Hokage, Naruto and Sakura becoming canon, etc etc. I think the movie will be into the future after the earlier happens.
