I think the person got that from Sasuke's Databook 2 profile. It says something like that, if I remember correctly. Sasuke has never singled out Sakura in his thoughts, though. You would have to say Naruto and Kakashi also filled his lonely existence, heck Sasuke risked his life to protect the former... He disliked Naruto's and Sakura's personalities, but they still had become like a new family to him.

And even her decision to become Tsunade's apprentice came from wanting to not only save Sasuke but to help Naruto as well.

Yeah, there's also the part in the Sasori fight where she thinks about both of them. It's kind of pointless to debate if Sakura's current actions are just for Sasuke or just for Naruto. She wants to help both of them, that hasn't changed. However, the reason she traveled to the Iron Country and is now searching for Sasuke is to release Naruto of his burdens and protect him from Akatsuki. Normally, there wouldn't be any rush to hunt down Sasuke.

I wonder if Sakura's "I'll save Sasuke for you!!" in Ch. 296 was meant to be a little foreshadowing. She's pretty much carrying through with that right now, only her idea of "saving" Sasuke is different from before. I sincerely hope this storyline ends with Naruto and Sakura realizing that they need each other and can't continue with the whole "Carrying the burden alone" or lying to protect his/her feelings business.

That's what I got too even if I wasn't sure at first really. And I see it too. Sakura still loves Sasuke and wishes to save the last shreds of decency in his heart also tryinf to protect Naruto, and wanting to keep him safe from enemies like Sasuke and the Akatsuki. Even at the risk of Naruto hating her. It's like Sai had told Naruto; Sakura isn't that stupid and that childish to NOT understand the risks and still do what's necessary...

So NH fans can't use the ''Hinata should be with Naruto because she sacrificed herself'' argument, because Sakura is sacrificing, too. And if... The entire manga is any indication, as you've seen, emotional pain sucks a lot more than physical pain.

They probably won't acknowledge it because it's so subtle. Usually only ''Near Death'' moments get any attention.

To phearts... Here's a tip; Don't take everything you've heard an SS fan claim seriously. Words get twisted, and statements get misinterpreted. It's like that game where people repeat something so much that at the end it's completely different.

Even if Sasuke did say it... Actions speak louder than words, and I'm not seeing much action on his words. Thus ''my existence is in darkness,'' not ''My existence is for Sakura.''

The more I look at that one panel from chapter 450 the more obvious it seems, in fact if I wasn't an huge fan and was just someone into the anime, I think I would easily believe this couple is already canon.

I'm have a number of different thoughts on how this whole Sakura going to Sasuke thing will work out,

what will she say?

will she attack 1st or talk?

will Naruto do a last minute save?

Such unhealthy curiosity.

Twice I have had an NH fan say in a debate that ''this scene'' or ''these words'' made NH canon. After my long reply to an argument, the fan replied, and I quote, ''lol have you seen the latest chapter yet.'' concerning ch. 437. Of course, I was so devastated I couldn't reply, because I DID think NH was canon, but now... They do say hindsight is 20-20.

But yet another NH claimed that Kishi's words ''Me too'' made NH canon. Just like you Twilight I argued that Hinata's ''chance'' was her confession and that she got hers, and that was that. Which leads me to believe even further that the confession was strictly a Hinata moment, i.e. her ''chance.''

what will she say?

There's no way to tell right now, but I'm thinking she'll try to get through to him one more time. Ask him what happened at the bench scene, perhaps?

Sakura, being a rational girl, will probably try to get the whole story first, attack later.

That whole interview with Kishimoto answering "me too." I don't think he was being completely serious. He was kind of half-joking. We all know he wouldn't spoil his own manga until the very end and in a way like everyone said gave Hinata her chance and nothing happened. I always took the answer as him being witty.

Again, we all stress that Hinata is not around enough to be with Naruto. It wouldn't make sense to have her and Naruto get together with no means behind it.

While I am not against NaruHina, I don't see it happening without some kind of development that last more than 2 pages in a chapter.

It didn't stop NS and NH fans from freaking out -obviously for different reasons-, though.

Nonetheless, you will realize he said he hoped she got her chance. He didn't say she would SUCCEED.

You have efficiently illustrated why people should wait and see what happens before jumping to conclusions.

I didn't panic because I knew Hinata confessing or surviving didn't guarantee Naruto and she would get together, but I confess I was slightly worried. However, I firmly decided waiting and seeing before drawing conclusions... and then I saw nothing. But I drew conclusions. Plenty of them.

By the way, I haven't read the newest chapter's thread, so please don't spoil it to me, but one of the spoilers of this week told Naruto and Yamato would look for Sakura whereas Temari would travel to Konoha. Did it happen or that spoiler was fake how we suspected?

I think of this like a long car drive. To most of us, it is obvious that the story is on the road to NaruSaku. That doesn't mean the car will get there. Maybe a bridge is down, or Kishi decides to take an off-ramp. But right now, the car is aimed at that destination.

It is even possible that the car would turn around, and take the path to Hinata. But this possibility has been addressed: we would need a reason for the car to turn around (why not Sakura) and the extra distance the car needs to drive to Hinata (development).

What is frustrating are the NH and SS shippers who, instead of discussing how to get the car to take the off-ramp that leads to their homes, insist that the car is still driving towards NH/SS. (Or deliberately trying to steer the car into oncoming traffic to stop the car from reaching NS. ) There is nothing wrong with driving the car to NH or SS, just that the car passed the easy exits a few hundred chapters ago.

Yamato and Naruto are still standing in the same spot they were in before in chapters 469-470.

Naruto is still indecisive about the whole situation and right now seems to be trying to wrap his heart and his head around a choice.

I wonder what he will decide on.

Part of me wants he reaches the same conclusion what Sakura has done (it is too late for saving Sasuke and his duty like friend and ex-teammate is terminating him). But realistically I doubt Naruto kills Sasuke. One of the main themes of this manga is the new generation surpassing the old one, so Naruto should succeed where his masters failed. Thus, he should succeeding in saving Sasuke (unlike Jiraiya, since he couldn't save his friend).

Perhaps his resolution will be: "Okay. I shall try reaching out to Sasuke once more. If I fail... then I shall kill him". Or he will decide on putting Sasuke off his misery, but he will wonder if he will be capable and then the readers will wonder if he will or he won't.

Or perhaps Naruto will succeed in talking Sasuke on reason, but Sasuke will suffer a heroic death, finding redemption in death thusly.

However I don't think Kishimoto does that.

I have a feeling Naruto is going to go after Sakura and not Sasuke. He cares for her too much to just ignore her like that. As well, since Sakura is going after Sasuke, you find her you find Sasuke.

He might also go and find her knowing that she is not going to survive long against Sasuke.

I have a feeling that was is going to happen is Sakura is going to find Sasuke and battle. She will lose and get hurt badly. Sasuke figures that she is in the way and so as he is about to deliver the final blow. Naruto comes in, the hero that he is, and saves her. Then they get it on in a huge battle. Naruto won't kill Sasuke, but Sasuke will die I believe maybe in a self-sacrifice similar to that of Itachi.

Agreed... Sadly, I'm watching the Anime and waiting for more episodes, but it's going so slooowww! I cheat and look at the ever-always-needed wikipedia, for the main plots, etc (hey, I'm too impatient to wait for the Anime, and there aren't any manga in any place near where I live. And if there was, they'd all be from NARUTO, not NARUTO SHIPPUDEN)

I have bee told it is spelled by many as well including that of "Shipuden" or even "Shippuuden."

After a little research, I am 99% sure it is spelled "Shippūden" (note the line over the u)
