Well, let's face it, Chatte, someone else's has gotta be thinking the same thing regarding how ODD Naruto's ending was over all.

I have a legitimate question.

Why would Kishimoto end his series like this after 15 years? Like why would he rely on a movie? And then if it's not canon then why make a mini-series of 700?

I'm sincerely asking, I'm not bashing the theory because the evidence shows it quite believable. I'm also, however, tired of bringing my hopes up.

With the information that 699 was planned 8 years ago (Naruto saves Sasuke and returns his headband) but 700 was only planned 3 months ago...... the answer is: movie promotion!

Chapter 700 was SP's idea.

Yeah! You should see some of the other NaruSaku fans on tumblr. They're starting to theorize, too. And they're noticing all of the mistakes in the chapter as well!

SP ruined Tokyo Ghoul and now they ruin Naruto for me I will forever dislike them. Never forgive never forget.

(But overall the pairings were planned 2 years ago if this is the case.)

SP BUTCHERED Tokyo Ghoul. Omg don't even get me started. The most rushed kitten I've ever seen! Seriously 138 chapters and half of that into 12 episodes? LOL. Akame ga kill takes the cake for best anime adaptation for me right now, it's so on point with everything

EXACTLY. ALL IN 12 EPISODES AND THEY EVEN HAD A CLIFF-HANGER. At least end the series on a better note. Sheesh. But I still loved it though.
