Feeling a bit of a thrill. ^^

It's been a few hours since my graduating class returned from Six Flags Great Adventure, and from 11 am... I was screaming for my life. All in all together, I took a chance at riding at the Nitro, El Toro, Skull Mountain and a few other pastimes --- and lets just say that my head is still spinning!

Although, I'm kinda depressed since it went by so fast DX I mean, sure we could go again... but it wouldn't be the same~ Sometimes graduating sucks!

But YES! I had the time of my life today and hope I can do so again after I get the life back in my feet. With no way to get home after the trip, and shoes in which must've shrunk overnight --- walking home was painful. Due to the fact that it took me an hour DX (it should only take 20 minutesss! Twenty!)

Other than that... how fun to end a day with Dippin' Dots?!

Preparations for my birthday tomorrow is beginning! Although, I'm not supposed to know much about it... it seems that the cake has been ordered and will be delivered tomorrow. Hurrah for Ice Cream Cake!

Just crawled out of bed, right after work we went strawberry picking so we could make jelly this year. Yeah, I'm hot sticky and covered in flour, what the hell, lets go get hotter, stickier and add some dirt on top of this flour. Picked the largest berry that site had seen in years, weighted over half a pound, I named it Ichigo and will get photo's of the mutant berry.

After I filled my two flats and I waited for my family I stood next to one of the guys that worked there and watched people with him. At one point I asked: "So you get paid to stand here, direct people to a row and watch girls asses as the bend over, paying to pick their own berries?" He smiled and replied yep.

Since Monday, I've felt being betrayed. By who? One of my own family members. But which one? My own grandmother (mother's side). I really think something is definitely wrong with her. She is now talking down about me like a dog. She said (to directly at my mother when she was picking up my brother) that I was being disrespectful to my elders and learned that from my mother (which I never do in my entire life, hell my mother is like "WTF is wrong with her now?!"). Now on to that part I'm gonna ask you guys a question:

Is it disrespectful if you didn't pick up a phone call from a person who is trying to call you telling his/her business? (I'm still trying to find some sense into this question because it doesn't make any sense. )

So anyway, this what my grandmother was ranting all Monday and Tuesday:

I was disrespectful to my elders. (For not picking up the phone, since she IS nosy as hell, like to know about our damn business)
I slammed the phone on my uncle on that day. (Now mind you, I haven't pick up any phone besides calls from my mother on that day.)
I was disrespectful to my brother's uncle. (My mother was confused at that moment and we call him after she said that; his reaction was "WTF?! DeShawn never does that...")

Now here's the comment that really pissed me off:

She saying I'm taking drugs.

I. Can't. Not. Believe. my own grandmother said that! I'd never taken drugs in my entire life! Hell, I never smoke or drink! Seriously, like where the hell did she get that from?! Saying I'm disrespectful?! She's the one is disrespectful! Talking about me like a dog, like I'm the bad person. And she saying I'm on drugs?! Look at her damn son (my uncle) he's on drugs since years!!! And then at the end of her rant, she's said:

"If he ever call or ask for something for some help at school, I AM not giving him kitten! I'm not helping him! I don't want to be bother with him!"

Fine. If that's how it is, I won't forget this. Because now she pissed me off. Next time if she ever call the house, I show her the meaning of disrespectful. She definitely lost my trust in her right now.

But if I try the method you mention now, it won't work. This is like a family drama-llama that keeps on coming back and not only me, but my mother and my brother, are sick of it. Hell, everyone (my father -though I haven't tell him the incident yet-, my mother's friends, my other uncle and even HER own friends) is saying something is wrong with her. And rest assure, my mother doesn't have the time and patience to deal with her own mother because 1) she's nosy, 2) she like to talk about everybody's business ala gossiping (way too much) and 3) she complains (yapping like crazy). She had done this for years, back when my mother was my age.

Seriously, this is a family issue that we are trying our best to ignore and it became worse when my grandmother now label me in her bad list...

Damn Derock you got some serious sh!t on your hands. To be honest, if someone disrespected me like that (being accused of taking drugs is a deep insult) I'd simply tell them to STFU and GTFO at that point. But, you'd really be playing into her hands, so I'd just ignore it. Just be like 'whatever' and forgot about it. I mean if you don't say anything then they can't really get on you. Attention wh0res and drama starters can't really do anything if you don't provide them with their 'ammunition' and they eventually give up.

Oh and to answer your question, when I younger I almost never picked up the house phone unless I was the only one at home. Your not obligated to do so. Anywayz, best of luck man! Make it through the ordeal.
