yeah he liked her before that though , his feelings started to get more serious around chapter 3 because he stated to understand why .

He liked her because he thought she was cute (same reason why Sakura liked Sasuke) it wasn't until the bench scene did he start to understand that his feelings for her were much deeper than that.

But we don't know how naruto and sakura first interaction that lead to naruto like her in the first place.

In chapter 538, kishi show how naruto & sasuke first interaction that start their rivalry. We know in chapter 3 that naruto hate sasuke, but we don't know they starting to hate each other.

In the same chapter, kishi show that Hinata like/love naruto & sakura/ino already become sasuke fangirl. While on the other naruto doesn't know sasuke and sakura doesn't know naruto. That's why I suspect in the later years something must happen between them that lead to naruto like sakura.

I mean why naruto only has an eye for just sakura not ino or Hinata. Heck in chunin exam arc, he call ino as sasuke fangirl while sakura herself isn't much different with her.

We got this kind of flashback with obirin and some implication in minakushi & jiratsu.

well i dont think we need that kind of flashback. Naruto feelings for Sakura show entire manga. for example when Gaara took Sakura for hostage and Naruto pull out his chakra in order to save her. later we have his promise or save her from Sasuke attempt to kill her. even when sai asked after pain arc he clearly said that he love her. of course in war arc s also scenes with his father. Sakura have her time also. i think war s more positive NS arc because Sakura started to show her feelings for Naruto not only her thoughts

I don't think Naruto's feelings got that serious until after he saved her from Gaara. Maybe he finally found more of a reason to like Sakura (ironic, considering she was basically telling him that entire conversation how much she disliked him), but he treated it like it was at complete crush level.

 

I also dislike the argument Naruto likes/loves Sakura just because she sought out acknowledgement. If that was really the only reason, then why would he still like her now? It's like what the NaruHina fans argue. They twist how he liked Sakura for seeking acknowledgement and that means he could fall for Hinata because she wants acknowledgement too.

 

Naruto's reason for loving Sakura has to be deeper than that by now. I think Naruto loves Sakura for her personality and everything they go through as teammates rather than her just seeking acknowledgement. If it was as broad as "seeking acknowledgement", then Naruto would like Hinata or even Lee (lol).

Naruto show serious feeling when someone dear to him in dangerous situation. For me it explains his "obsession" to sasuke, aside the other factor.
Sakura is safe in this arc, so far.

Oh yes, very true. I think Naruto hides his feelings a little bit in general by acting really cheerful and light with things most of the time unless he really has to. Serious life-or-death situations with people he cares about or Sakura's confession in Sakura's case is a good example.

 

But the way Naruto acted with his feelings for Sakura in Early Part 1 vs. late Part 1 and even now is very different. You get serious moments in between that aren't written for comedy that Naruto's affection never had before.  PoaL, the hospital scene, Sai's flashback, and Sakura's confession for example. Sakura's feelings for Sasuke never really bothered him at first other than a slight annoyance, but now it hurts him. That's how you know his feelings changed and got more serious. I just don't buy Naruto loving Sakura all the way by Ch. 3 when the portrayal never implied it until later.

 

I believe that Naruto fell in love with Sakura by the end of Part 1 mostly because she was part of Team 7 and helped "saved him from himself", but then his feelings had more to do with her as person and their time spent together by Part 2. That's my personal interpretation.

I have noticed that Naruto loves Sakura's intelligence and talent like medic ninja ...

When she saves Kankuro Naruto was enthralled for her, and when she shows that huge force Naruto have that smile and that look of tenderness, is a very peculiar reaction from him.
