Guys will you help me out a bit, I've been reading one of the threads when someone posted a comment from tumbler of Kishi's social profile site, stating that he asked how did all the SS feel about the cover yesterday. I could not find it anywhere on this forum, will anyone give me the link to the source?

I followed a page on facebook bearing Kishi's full name that asked the same thing. I know in the case of the facebook, it's a fan page, run by fans, and Kishi has no connection to and probably no knowledge it even exists. Plus, the page is in full English...I think if Kishi did have a social networking account he would be speaking his native language.

He seems against social media stuff. I don't know why but I always see SJ alpha announcement as a sign because he came across as "Eh, it's ok I guess." Instead of like how people always put over big time on how cool it is and what not.

This is why I cannot stand the other fanbases. You don't support their pairings, they'll flag you, personally insult you, or some other stupid act that gives me more reason to treat them like five-year-olds. Grow the hell up, people!

Anyways NS is right on track. Everything you need to start a pairing is at hand. It only needs to be official by Kishi.
Just a theory, do you think Hagoromo's have any thing to do with how the way Sakura is influenced by her teammates. I noticed the last several Naruto and Sakura interactions have been very blissful with all the smiles while her interactions with Sasuke have been so gloomy and depressed. When Sasuke stopped her from falling she had an blank expression and no comment.

I wonder if Naruto being the Sun makes NS so radiant and full of passion while Sasuke represents the moon and twilight is the direct opposite.

I don't get that sort of behavior at all, but then it's simply not my inclination to argue with people unnecessarily. I tend to go out of my way to avoid conflicts, sometimes to the point of not being entirely honest about my views, honestly.

Meh, I don't think they're claiming to be Kishi. Though someone who's not observant might think it is actually him?

That person shot themself in the foot the moment they mentioned Naruto was referring to the confession. Naruto's expression doesn't look joking at all or similar to the Kushina one, especially since he didn't just say "She IS my girlfriend" with a stupid grin on his face showing he was lying or "No, she isn't" (straight truthful with no indication of having any feelings for her). He said a more honest response, like "more or less" or "sort of". That's what makes that different from the Konohanaru version, not just in his expression but in his words.

 

Oh well. When we get another huge NaruSaku moment and another sign of Naruto's feelings, then the NaruHina fans will see soon enough.

Ugh, that whole comic relief thing pisses me off. Just because it's presented as comical doesn't mean that everything in that scene is automatically invalid. For example, when Sasuke announced his desire to become Hokage, everyone (including Sakura) reacted comically but does that mean we shouldn't take Sasuke's statement seriously? No, and the fandom certainly doesn't brush it off as meaningless, so why is this different?

 

What on earth does Jiraiya's statement have to do with this??? Sakura's confession wasn't her rejecting him (quite the opposite, actually, whether or not he believed her), so why would he joke about it?

 

The translation "well, something like that..." is correct. However, the interpretation that user presented is not (I know exactly who s/he got it from, too - mezzo is a biased, unreliable translator; im not sure if she started that "he was joking about her confession" argument or if she saw that confession and put it in her translation of the scene, but either way, it's just wrong). The "tte" was referring to his father's words, NOT Sakura's. Naruto is not so petty that he would take a jab at her like that, especially after he found out Sakura's true intentions with that confession (to protect him). Man, the kind of characterization butchering and mental gymnastics you have to go through to come up with this f**cked up interpretation... Do they have no respect for Naruto's character at all? rhetorical question, i already know the answer

 

Also, if Naruto was indeed referring to Sakura's confession with "something like that," there would have definitely been a flashback, even if only a panel. Oh, and excluding 631, Naruto confirmed his feelings for Sakura in 457, when Sai has a flashback of him asking Naruto if he liked Sakura and then asking if he'd confessed yet, to which he replies, "How can I (confess)? I'm a guy who can't even keep his promise..." meaning he wants to confess, but feels unworthy. why do people act like that chapter doesn't exist

Haha, yeah I occasionally go to NF, mostly to the FCs though. Yeah, I think I've seen that phrase there a couple times.

They'd just come up with some kind of excuse for it anyhow, like Sai misinterpreting Naruto's feelings or some kitten, even though the scene speaks for itself and is pretty straightforward.

I understand the "sad ending for Naruto" but coming from a perspective from NS is it really a sad ending for Naruto?
Because there was never been a drama or even Naruto putting Sakura into a special place because she is always put alongisde his other friends, even when Naruto comforts Sakura it always end up with him saying something about Sasuke or he's the topic about it.
They never shared moments like as an example, Obito and Rin had, surely Sakura supports Naruto's dream for hokage but did they shared a moment together and she told him this?
I never see that.
From my perspective bad ending would be SS happening because it destroy Sakura's character, NH happening because lack of development and Naruto dying and Sasuke being hokage.
 
I dont think NaruSaku doesnt have much appeal from the main character side for me to consider NS not happening a sad ending.

This is just wrong. Naruto and Sakura have, for the entire story, shared their joys and sorrows and supported each other ffs. How can you even compare this to Obito and Rin?! Why does Sakura telling Naruto "I support your dream" give it a better value? Anyone can talk the talk but Sakura has proved her desire to see Naruto succeed through her actions. This is way more than what Rin ever did.

 

As for  NaruSaku not having much appeal from Naruto's side, I can't agree.Do you not remember the hospital scene and PoAL? Have you ever seen Naruto that pained? If there is one thing that Naruto wants as much as becoming Hokage, it is winning Sakura's heart. He doesn't need to keep reiterating this every chapter. Its obvious.
