I've been reading the last few chapters in the manga and I have to say I'm seeing a lot of NaLu and I don't know why. Not really solid development or anything, just them either falling on top of each other or Natsu getting his face showed in Lucy's breasts every.single.chapter! I know Fairy Tail likes its fanservice but this is getting ridiculous.

The only time I ever felt for when it came to Gruvia was the scene after The Tartarus arc that's only time that made me feel like damn those two need to end up together. 

 
I know I always liked Lucy's character and how she was whenever it came to her battles, but the Tartarus Arc has given me a huge amount of respect towards her character more than I ever did in the past.

I wonder how her character will progress when she finds out the truth about Natsu.

I don't know if you read Rave Master,  but maybe it might go down that path with how Haru discovered that Ellie was actually Resha. I mean Hiro did work on Rave Master and some of the events that are taking place at the moment are almost similar to how the events played out in Rave Master to a certain extent.

Oh do tell! I really want to know.  In any case, I really hope that, once Lucy is confronted with the whole truth, we'll get not only her, but also NaLu development. I feel like she is one of the closest people to Natsu and that she should play a role in whatever's coming his way.

I know, so sad. I just loved Naruto and Sakura's relationship to pieces and now I like Natsu and Lucy because it's similar in a way. I'm really a sucker for the whole "Love is friendship caught on fire" thing and nobody will convince me otherwise. My favorite ship will always be the one where two people are the closest, have great chemistry and a lot of development. Nothing authors like Kishi do or say can change that.

 

Oh and how come there's no new chapter yet?

Happened to me too. I hate Jerza, I was originally a NatsuxErza fan. I find Jellal and Erza disgusting.

Altho, i find it easier to accept. Cuz there are developments and flashbacks supporting the ship. Altho yes its still hard for my feelings to take in.

My favourite part of the cover is that Natsu is with his love Lucy and little sister.  he has his hand on Wendy's head which is cute. Adorable actually

I'm going to guess that this is going to be a long flashback arc not unlike "Turn Back The Pendulum" in Bleach. Mashima could about 10-15 chapters for this arc. And did anyone notice we're about 50 chapters away from the Big 500? If you look back over the course of the series, the big reveals/important stuff usually happen around every 100 chapters. Ch. 500 could be E.N.D's awakening, I think.

Oooh fingers crossed! I've been waiting for E.N.D's awakening or finding more about it at least. As for the flashback, I'm sure it will be a bit long, but I'm sincerely hoping we'll find out something very interesting. And when I say interesting, I mean interesting for the whole plot, not, for example, that Mavis and Zeref were up to some hanky panky when they were younger.
