Ah that's right, Human Revolution for next week as well. Anyone getting it?

I'll be getting it. The original Deus Ex still remains the best RPG/FPS hybrid I've ever seen. I'm hoping this one will live up to it but we'll see.

I haven't decided whether to try BF3 or not. If you have a dedicated team to play with that sort of game is great. However, if you're playing with random people it tends to just be frustrating. COD is better in that respect. As long as you're good enough in COD you can get away with a few bad people on your team.

Definitely looking forward to UC3. The beta did quench my thirst for now though.

Zin, so far we have 9 people onboard for BF3... it'll be good if all of us buy it, we can do some team damage.

Yes be on the lookout friends, we are already discussing possible dates and games to set up a clan night. Can already see BF3 is going to be a popular choice. What we want to do is start playing some games out now soon so we become familiar with one another. Later on there will be small giveaways/prizes. Also, skiving off Resistance 3. My experience with the beta's....not so great. Also, I have a friend who has a friend who works as a beta tester for Sony and he did not like it either.

White Knight Chronicles, the first one, was fun but lacking any real customization of your character(ability wise). Getting to the end of any particular weapon/magic path never offered anything substantial really... I hear they haven't changed much in the 2nd one either. So, I'm reluctant to even get it. Level 5 should've taken a closer look at MMORPGs for ideas on how to make leveling enjoyable/desirable in WKC. I lost interest completely once I realized there was really no reward for getting to higher levels.

Woo hoo! It's about time, I've been waiting way too long for a new Zelda home console game. I was playing Ocarina of Time 3D the other day, and just noticed the Skyward Sword Easter egg in the Gerudo's Fortress, so that didn't help my craving . I can't wait to see how it plays, TP was awesome, but I felt it could have done way more with the motion controls. I'm also curious to see how they elaborate on Ganon's origins.

That's pretty funny, I've been doing sort of the same thing. I'm still working on OOT 3D Master Quest, but I just started playing Windwaker again, which was actually one my favorites in the series thus far. The NPC's were way more fun, the characters were more expressive (LOL at Link bracing himself to be shot off in the cannon in the beginning), and the vibrant colors and textures made the whole world feel way more immersive to me. On top of that, the graphical style of Skyward Sword sort of looks like a mix of TP and WW, at least from what I've seen. I'm looking forward to seeing how it compares with those two.


So far, the only games I'm sure about getting are Skyward Sword and the Tales of the Abyss 3DS port. I'd like to see how it plays on a handheld. I was a little worried at first, but I was also skeptical about OOT on the 3DS, and nothing about that game dissapointed me. We'll see though. I'm still crossing my fingers for a Symphonia 3DS port, but I'm not too optimistic about that.

I didn't notice the easter egg in the Fortress! Now I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Wind Waker has such a wonderful atmosphere and personality. I was happy they decided to carry on with that style in the DS games, even though Spirit Tracks disappointed me (they weren't thinking about deaf people when they put in the flute, so I got stuck at a harder song). I should fish out my import Gamecube some day so I can play Wind Waker again.

Ah that's right, Human Revolution for next week as well. Anyone getting it?

I'm interested as well, but I'll be trying to put it off until next year, when it'll be cheaper.

I also just realised I'd completely forgotten about my favourite game series - Uncharted! D: So it looks like my 3 games will be:-

1. Gears of War 3
2. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
3. Uncharted 3

*looks at list* Heh, I've picked the big holiday exclusive for each of the 3 consoles.

The rest of my game time will be spent replaying old games and having fun on RDR/SSF4. Maybe even the PSO2 beta if I'm lucky.

RE Revelations can't tell if it before or after RE5. Chris and Jill did many missions together under the BSAA before going to Spencer's mansion.

I think it takes place after RE5 according to Capcom . There's no telling how many high paying drug lords, cults, pharmaceuticals, and other groups Wesker sold the T-virus to.
