Yeah That is the most logical outcome as it may still be too soon for Erina to accept Soma's cooking even if she really likes it because it's not like he didn't amaze her the first time. She may not say it's disgusting anymore but she may not directly admit to liking it either, tsundere that she is. I'm all for it if she is gonna say it's delicious though and her feelings start from there but not 180 turn her character

Yeah ... maybe at least she gonna say "Not bad" and willing to give Souma some advice. I just hope Souma dish this time will replace Saiba's dish and become a new anchor in her heart whenever she feels down or afraid she will remember this moment and Souma dish.

I expect we'll see her find multiple faults in the dish but the manga will hint something about it makes her want to eat more, though I expect they won't come out and say it, because this is a SWJ manga and it's probably in their terms and conditions that a Tsunere can not totally honest until the very end.

I don't expect Erina to say "It's delicious", but I do hope she won't go tsundere mode, and flat out say it sucks. It'd be a devastating move for her character development.

I'm expecting her to be more reserved, and find some flaws in his dish.

It IS the the most likely out come . She won't admit she likes it but won't say she hates it anymore. if she DOES say it's delicious I would jump for joy though.

Yup Erina loves it, it really reminds her of Saiba's cooking, but she still not yet give her judge if it's delicious or not to Souma, and the way Souma said "It wasn't much" inside his heart without saying it to Erina at the end .... i wonder why ...

Souma, Erina and Eggs, Their key interaction seems to include eggs, first meeting was eggs, second real interaction at the hotel arc was eggs, and again here we have eggs. their kids are going to be named after Egg dishes, Tomago?

 

I'm actually surprised be the reaction, the dish felt surpriisingly simple complared to everything he's made to date.

the narrative works because it's about 'thawing erina's frozen heart' and 'frozen egg'

The nice thing was that she was actually able to cry. All these times, she was jealous of Alice to show her emotions freely. Soma's dish brought back her memories <3

It's not that she wasn't giving him her honest opinion... She just wasn't really listening. Like she was ignoring what he said and was talking about other things after her newfound determination.

I think at this point , it was a good time for this questions :

What are Souma for Erina now ?? Is he a person that Erina finally trust and respect ?? , Is Erina finally starting to slowly (even just a tiny bit of feeling) fall in love with him ??

 

For me i think she finally accept and respect him as a comrade against Azami tyranny. She finally acknowledge his dish and cooking skills as a pro chef maybe a rival or as a spark of hope in her heart. She finally open her heart for Souma.

 

Regardless this chapter is 100% boost for their relationship. For me this is the turning point, and finally this is where their relationship start to advance into the next step.

 

Damn i'm really thirst and hunger for more SoNa (Souma X Erina) moment.

 

And as for the plot itself, So Erina gonna rally her own army with Polar Star Dorm member against her own father, and i'm sure the Aldini brother, Ikumi, White haired girl (Erina cousin/sister) and her crazy servants, and that Curry/Spice master will join the army as well, and the one who will spearheaded this offensive is Souma, basically next generations Elite 10 against current Elite 8, but since Erina is the tenth member of the curent Elite 10 and minus Ishiki (it will be extra boost if Ishiki join the rebel force).. Wow this is sounds cool , i never get excited like this for a long time. Even if sounds like generic/typical rival join force against bigger threat or common enemy, but this is a cooking manga and that's what makes me even more curious and excited how the author gonna make this good ... really looking forward for next chapter.

 

Edit : I suddenly have a feeling Erina gonna make a campaign and find supporter to take down Azami from seat of power, and Erina gonna be the new Director ... The scene in the past where Jouichirou used to come to Erina house and cook for Erina grandfather ... I have a strong feeling that gonna be parallel and in the future Souma gonna cook everyday for Erina as a married couple.

So the Mangafast translations didn't have the last two pages, I thought it ended abruptly. The MS version makes much more sense, she wasn't avoiding answering Souma (or maybe she was, just acting really well.) she was just riled up.

 

Well the Eri-Sou story certainly moved forward nicely, though I expect they still have a way to go, afterall Souma still hasn't learnt the biggest tip his father gave him after he'd hung up.

 

So they are off to Hokkaido, this school obviously has more money than sense, and have a cruel unusual way of torturing their students. Those who fail are stuck on the island and knowing the school, they'd be kicked out immediately and have to make their own way home. They can't even tell their parents to pick them up, they'd have to drag themselves up, and make their own way off the island.
