I think kakudo had that idea in mind when creating the origins of digimon but did nothing to fully flesh out this idea in the original adventure series. And because he din't interact with the other writers in his room they made up there own lore. Also hinting at digimons being ghost or demons in 02 and not strongly in 01? isn't good planning.

It's been a very long time since I saw Frontier, but it's because of their cellphones they were able to get access to the digital world. Kakudo unfortunately put Habu in a point that contradict things and it is true when  he little know about Digimon.

 

While inside Lore of Digimon in any other Digimon Universe their origin is different ( As would say the YTuber of Re: World D.)

okay the digimon devs must be mind readers. I had the original cyber sleuth and hackers memory on both ps4 and vita and got my friend a ps tv and let him play the vita versions through my account, but his controller broke and playstation controllers are stilll to this day $60, even the old ps3 ones which is ridiculous. anyways literally 2 days ago me and my friend were on discord and wished for a steam port of the digimon games, new and old. and then this posted 1 hr ago:

so if any of you missed out because you don't have a ps4, but have a switch or a good computer with steam, your prayers have been answered. time for me to trade in my ps4 versions for it.

As fan of Digimon I wish luck in this one. Well it seems got good  answer. I read some comment that already have it in PS4, but they will buy in NSW. Still I need to see Digimon Survive trailer.

at least this means one bit of good news, and that's  now I can quit digimon masters and not have to deal with its money grubbing tactics and can enjoy true digimon games on pc finally. the the korean mmo reign on digimon on pc is over lol now I just have to hope a game comes at some point that has all the x digimon and omegamon alter s, then I'm happy.

Well this what we will get later of Digimon.

 

1.- The title of the Digimon Adventure movie is "Digimon: Last Evolution Kizuna", a title that LA Screenings had already accidentally filtered a few months ago.

 

2.- Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Hacker's Memory will receive a port for PC and Nintendo Switch in a "2 in 1" package, with the departure date being October 18, 2019.

 

3.- The next Digimon Story will not be a sequel to Cyber Sleuth and will take place in both Human and Digital World. The story regarding this game will be revealed later.

 

4.- Digimon Survive takes place in a new world, not the Digital World. As Habu had already said, the tamer's responses will affect the evolution of the digimon, and take as inspiration a talk he had with Kakudou. The game has an exit date for 2020.

ikr, its why I'm wary of this movie.

I think the first half of tri - the first three episodes - was awesome and really set up a lot of potential.

Unfortunately, the second half does nothing with that potential, leaves a bunch of things unanswered, creates more plot-holes for 02 than solving them, Meiko and Meicoomon end up being pointless, and Yggdrasil is just shut down easily off-screen by Homeostasis.

Did they say anything about tri still being canon? is this movie a follow up from tri?

 

I also heard the original japanese show director kakudou was invovled with the first half of digimon final evolution but left the company due to writing disagreements with the new staff? is this rumor true? cause i thought he left after the disaapointment with tri.

I hope this movie doesn't ignore davis and the others again. also I get why people hate the 02 ending, but the hate for davis, even in regards to shipping, was always stupid. those haters really need to read v tamer if they still think tk was worthy to be leader. he would have never got the goggles, since the goggles, literally called the goggles of courage of friendship, were meant for someone with leadership qualities who embodied courage and friendship and valued his friends. the goggles even had a backstory centered around this going back to tai's grandfather(its only told in v tamer, but the shows hint at it, especially with davis' quotes in xros wars). they were always meant for davis and tai, just like the eggs and crests were. an alternate tai no less, the v tamer tai, in a crossover with 02 even confirmed this was the reason davis was given the goggles and made leader.I wish davis got more love xD he and all the goggleheads and also marcus are cool. besides at least davis is better than tagiru, tagiru treated the whole end of the world like a game, at least davis knows when to get serious.
